a meal in a styrofoam container

I will NEVER order from here again. I seen some pics online and ordered a Grilled Steak platter with rice and beans and salad. The picture looked AMAZING! Steak looked juicy with fried onions on top, salad looked fresh and green with chopped tomatoes and cucumbers. I asked for NO RAW ONIONS to be placed in my salad. The order gets here- and it looks HORRIBLE. My steak looks old, dry, and when you actually look at it, is cooked well, medium, AND rare in some spots. My "salad" is actually the lettuce and tomatoes they use for sandwiches/burgers. The black beans on the picture were replaced with something that looks like vomit. And the ENTIRE platter was flooded in RAW ONIONS- (not a cooked onion in sight). I fathom the smell or taste of raw onions so I started removing them immediately. I called the restaurant and they basically offered me "store credit" (another meal)- of course I declined. True definition of false advertisement.

That, friends, is what I found as soon as I unwrapped my sandwich and picked it up. Of course I called the restaurant to notify them and the manager didn't even have the AUDACITY to pick up the phone. She sent her hostess back and forth with messages that summated to: "it's not our problem, take it up with DoorDash." I am BEYOND disgusted, both with the food and the customer service.

We had their Philly cheesesteaks and it was delicious. It was well made with peppers minions, verse and French fries with ketchup.

The food is crappy to say the least. The bread is old and they never get the order right. Very disappointing .. won't go back.

Classic local sub spot. Good food and friendly staff. Fast delivery. They serve breakfast all day and they have big sandwiches

The kind of confidence that doesn't announce itself, it just delivers. Then there's the crema de cilantro and aji, which basically tag team your taste buds and ask, "You good?" Yes. I'm great. Mind your business. This is not a, "Instagram made me do it" sandwich. This is a composed, disciplined, shut up and eat sandwich. Every ingredient is there on purpose. No freeloaders. The owner is a Peruvian chef who lived in Canada and now cooks in New Jersey, which explains why this sandwich has flavor, restraint, and zero patience for mediocrity. This isn't fusion, it's life experience on bread. Fair warning: eating this will ruin weaker sandwiches for you. You'll start asking questions. You'll judge more. You'll be disappointed elsewhere. Peruvian soul inside, llamas, Incas, Cusco, with Maplewood graffiti keeping it honest.

Perfectly cooked, juicy steak on my lomo saltado sandwich. And my GF really enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich. We went for lunch but could only eat half of them, ended up saving the remaining halves for dinner. We will definitely be back for more!
