Have gone to this place several times to have certain items dry cleaned and altered. Haven't been disappointed yet! Would probably be fine if you're not on a timeline, but don't believe the date they give you. Dropped off a formal dress on Friday that had various stains from a prior event, and after showing the spots, was told Tuesday for pickup. I said this was perfect, as this was the date I needed it by for the wedding I was attending. Tuesday comes, I go to pick it up, and am told it's not ready, nor is it even in the building. Ended up having to purchase a whole new dress, as it wasn't ready until the next evening and had already caught a flight out. After all this, wasn't even offered a discount when I was finally able to pick it up. read more

I was disappointed to learn, upon my first visit to the establishment, that they would not put a crease in the sleaves of my dress shirt. I was told, they do pants, but no one has ever asked that of them before. Also, I did not receive a test informing me my clothes were ready. When I called, I was told that I must have gave the wrong phone number- logically, wouldn't it be that they wrote the # down incorrectly. I will not be back. read more

When I checked this place out last Thursday, one of the store associates assured me that Village Walk Cleaners would provide next-day dry cleaning as long as my clothes were dropped off by the end of the day. Initially pleased with this promised-to-be quick turned around, I dropped off our items Thursday evening before they closed. After not hearing back the next day, I called and asked for an update on the items and was told they would be scheduled to be picked up the following Monday, 3 days later (and 4 days later than was initially promised). Disappointed by this, the store associate acknowledged that this was an error on their part and that she would try to get my items expedited. She later called back to tell me they would be ready to pick up Monday afternoon, a time which would be an inconvenience to me given my schedule. I showed up when I could, around 3:30 on Monday and was greeted very rudely by someone else who seemed to be the owner. She immediately accused me for being late, and to my astonishment went on to complain that they had even expedited the order for me. I explained to her what happened and she completely ignored their mistake, rather telling me that I had dropped off my items late. Knowing I would never come back to this place, I avoided confrontation with her and instead asked her for the 10% healthcare worker discount they advertised. She told me she would give me $3 off, and when I looked at the receipt I immediately noticed it was another one of their lies. When asked where the $3 off was, she replied she didn't want to calculate it out so she just charged me more instead. This has probably been one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a small business here in Jacksonville. I would never recommend this place to anyone - I'd rather dry clean my clothes at home than to trust a place that is so untrustworthy and rude to their customers. read more

I brought in my cotton Pottery Barn drapery panels to be dry cleaned and they washed them instead of dry cleaning them and the panels shrunk 5 inches. They refunded the cost of the "dry cleaning," but the drapery panels are useless. read more

Dropped off on Thursday, guy said Monday at 5. Went a bit earlier in the afternoon on Monday and the guy said it wasn't ready. Shop did not appear to have a lot of clothes and usually when they give a general deadline for pick up, a few hours plus minus does not make a difference. Second, clothes still have stains on them. Not even sure paying for dry cleaning even did anything? Clothes look and smell the same as when I dropped off. That was my first and last time here. read more

This service is so good I have personally witnessed customers driving here from as far as Riverside to drop their clothes off.

awful service!!!!!!!!!!!!! never go to this dry cleaner! i picked up my pants that was suppose to have the zipper fixed but when i got home i saw that the zipper was still broken. i went back and calmly told the guy that he charged me for the repair but never fixed it. he then told "shut up! and hush!" i was so surprised. he then went on to say that he would call the police on me. i was so confused. i then told him to go ahead knowing that i did nothing at all for him to call the police on me. i even offered to call the police on him. he then finally agreed to fix the broken zipper that he never fixed in the first place. yelled at me to come pick it up on friday and snatched my pants out of hands. i have never in my whole entire life witnessed such horrible customer service. i am warning everyone! do not go here. the worst thing about this whole event was that this guy was the owner! read more

I've just experienced the worst customer service!!! The guy there was super rude, he seriously rushed me to pay when I was just taking seconds to double check my items are alright (I got them tailored and cleaned). I was the only customer there so it wasn't like he was busy with other customers. Right after I paid, he just walked right off without even saying thanks or anything, nor did he even take my signed receipt back...... I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE!!! I am now looking for another dry clean place to go, SCREW THEM!!! read more
