I've been searching and searching for a place to renew my ACLS! I emailed Villanueva CPR while I was at work (night shift) and Angelo text me right away. He answered all my questions and signed me up for the renewal class the next morning. Angelo kept the class interesting. He knew his material and has a lot of equipment to show his students exactly what you'd see in certain scenarios. So even if I was coming straight from work, I was able to stay focused. He moves with the pace of the class which I think sets Villanueva CPR apart from other places. He won't linger on certain topics if everyone understands it! Perks- he offers coffee, water and snacks! Did the online pre-test, showed up for the course the next morning, and walked out that afternoon recertified. I have taken my CPR, ACLS, PALS and EKG/Pharmacology certificates here at Villanueva CPR and each course was a great experience for me. Angelo was very easy to communicate with in regards to setting up an appointment for classes, and providing precourse materials. Prior to coming to the courses, he provided some valuable precourse materials via email to look over before coming to the class. This is great as it gave me an overview of what the course was going to cover, and did not leave me feeling overwhelmed with information during the class. Angelo is a great instructor as he makes sure you understand everything before taking the exams. He is easy to follow because his explanations are not confusing and very much straight to the point. He was able to answer all the questions the students had in our class to our satisfaction, leaving us feel knowledgeable about the material being covered. I found the training site to be flexible with the times of courses because when I took my ACLS class with a few of my classmates, he was able to accomodate a day for about 10 of us at the last minute.
