I love this gym . Wonderful and friendly staff . It's clean and I love all the amenities ( massage chairs , saunas , red light therapy , cold plunge ). My favorite part of this gym is the Saturday bootcamp class by Katie .. she's the best instructor and it's a guaranteed workout . My wife and I were excited to start getting in a workout routine again in late November and we couldn't have picked a better gym to assist us with our fitness routine. Aaron the Assistant Manager gave us an awesome tour of the place when we walked in and he was so helpful with answering our questions. He is so friendly and makes you feel welcomed any time you see him there. We decided to get personal training to help us get back into working out and we absolutely lucked out with having Cody as our personal trainer. He checks in to see how you are feeling before session, he asks how each exercise feels to see if there are any issues, he is very friendly and fun to talk to, he pushes you to achieve your goals reasonably but not in a way that is overbearing, and he does an excellent job explaining what muscles are focused within each exercise. It's comforting to have a trainer who is not only knowledgeable but is thoughtful, encouraging, and understanding. 10/10 read more

Vim & Vigor in Canyon Crest opened up end of October and I made the best decision by switching to this gym in November. The equipment is brand new and the leg room section is a dream come true! The gym has definitely gained more traction so I've noticed it can get a little more crowded during certain times. The staff are all super friendly and they have been doing a great job making sure the gym is well maintained. The only downside is that the pool is outdoors. It's heated but can be hard to find the motivation to swim when it's chilly outside haha. There are several miscellaneous pieces of equipment I wish they had, but otherwise it has the necessities and this has been the best gym I've gone to so far. read more

They literally make it impossible for you to cancel your membership... oh wait maybe just if you're a woman because my husband had no problem canceling his within moments of requesting. They are asking for crazy things to prove you're moving like closing papers on your new house.. what!? When they first opened everything was great they had great machines, classes and clean. Now the place has gone downhill in my opinion and if they don't get things back together I might change to eos as it's closer and cheaper. The rowers have been moved and in a ridiculous location where you can't use with a partner and neither of the ellipticals have been working to change the length your legs climb and yes I've made a complaint several times and request for work order and nothing has been done. Listen to your clients vim and vigor I know several people have complained about the new location of the rowers and still nothing. read more

Shout out to Bode, physical trainer. Bode did an orientation with specific attendance to my bad shoulder and knee. He showed me specific exercises to help strengthen them. My husband and I used to go to CCAC using Silver Sneakers. We had access to ALL the amenities at the club under that program for FREE. Now that Vim & Vigor has taken over the property they are charging seniors an EXTRA $15 to use the pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna even though ALL the amenities should still be FREE under the Silver Sneakers program. Most seniors are on fixed incomes and cannot afford to have to pay extra when going to the gym under the program. But I guess the new owners of Vim & Vigor need to recoup their money somehow for all the new "refurbishments"...just another way to screw seniors. Way to go Vim & Vigor. You lost two people who had been eager to return after waiting FOREVER for all those refurbishments... read more

I have been going to this gym for about 6 months and it has really been a great experience. They have all of the machines and equipment I need for my workouts. It isn't too busy when I go in the mornings. They keep it cleaned and presentable as well. Bodhi is a really good trainer throughout this time. Good things come to those who wait! & The wait was well worth it. At first, being a local here in the area, I was a bit hesitant when I heard about the change from the original CCAC. But the transition and the upgrades of amenities, equipment, and work out areas (huge indoor turf area downstairs!!) & the, what I call, the dance room! This is where they offer classes. But is open during non-class times. I have been going every day since I signed up last week. It's 10/10, 5 stars! I literally have no complaints for the new concept and new gym, V+V. Super clean and the Ladies room is perfect with the showers, sauna and allots and lots of lockers (with coded locks already on the doors).I A lot of other gym goers are people I recognize from the old establishment and from people that grew up in the area. People are friendly and do their own thing. Huge shout out to the friendly staff. It's a smaller gym than the traditional others, which makes it so personable. Every time I walk in and every time before I walk out after my workout and tanning, I am greeted. Not only with "hellos" but with motivation and actual conversation. That makes it much easier for me to get up and want to go to the gym. That positive motivation right as you walk through the door. Huge s/o to James in the front, for giving me a tour and letting me vent and be of understanding about my weight loss NEEDS lol (I am currently the heaviest I have ever been and have not been to the gym in over 5 years). Thank you Serina& Jessica for greeting me so kindly at 5am when I am not fully awake yet. Recently joined this gym after being at another establishment for 6 years. Very clean facilities and the staff are so friendly. Kaylee the front desk associate always has a smile and a warm greeting. In a short time frame she has remembered my name and automatically has a towel ready when I am finished checking in. It's one thing to have associates checking in but it feels more personal when the associate takes the time and greet each guest with a good morning and have a great day greetings. I'm leaving 5 stars but this review is really to highlight Breanna. She's amazing and if you have an opportunity for personal training she is the trainer you want! She trained me and my daughter as we both enetered gym life and were feeling very intimidated and overwhelmed. We didnt know how to navigate the gym, but knew we wanted to be healthier and stronger. I've tried online gym guides and videos, but that can't compare to having a live trainer. Breanna is patient, knowledge, and all around great. On the rare occasion I felt a minor strain or a movement felt "off," she knew exactly how to diagnose the issue instantly or fix the pulled muscle. She knows how to immediately implement a correction or modification and her expertise provided us with confidence to use the equipment on our own. I no longer feel like I'm wandering aimlessly. Breanna didn't just give us a workout plan; she gave us the knowledge and competence to navigate the gym independently. We highly recommend her to anyone who needs a supportive, knowledgeable guide to help them feel strong and capable. read more

I joined Vim + Vigor after hearing so many good things about it, but after a few visits, the one thing I haven't enjoyed is the customer service. I don't get greeted when I walk in, when I ask for a towel it feels like it's an inconvenience, and when I ask someone at the front desk a question, they look at me like I just asked the dumbest question ever. I'm still new to this gym and having to figure out a lot on my own because I would rather avoid talking to the staff. The first time I visited, I asked the person at the front desk if he could briefly tell me where everything is at. I wasn't asking for an in depth tour, just a quick overview. He proceeded to ask me what I was going to work out that day and pointed me specifically to the lower body area. I get he was trying to be somewhat helpful, but now when I go back, I don't know where anything else is at. I really want to love this gym, but I also want to feel welcomed and comfortable with asking for help as a new member. Other than that, I love the amenities. The only thing I hate is that the showers have very little privacy, which could be easily improved with a simple shower curtain. read more
