I really enjoyed our recent visit! It's very comfortable inside and we didn't feel rushed. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and kept the pace at a reasonable level so we didn't feel like hurried. I had the seafood linguine then it was fantastic! I was also happy that they had some mock tails for those of us that don't drink alcohol. If you're looking for a nice comfortable relaxing night out, I would definitely recommend this place.!

Atmosphere and ambiance was 10/10. I've never been here and wow they nailed it. Our server was attentive and answered all of our questions with knowledge. Food was excellent too! Taste was 10/10. Will definitely be back.

I took a friend here for her birthday dinner and we had a great time. The service was excellent from our server to to the manager. The manager noticed that we were initially seated at a tiny table between the bar and other booths that was kinda tight and offered to move us to a more comfortable table. She then also gave us some insight on the wine and offered to get us a menu for next door in case we were looking for something different. We started with the scallop appetizer in a cream sauce which might have been my favorite dish of the night... but I'm obsessed with scallops. We also had a caprese which was topped with a thick pesto. They event split it into two plates since we were sharing it. For dinner, my friend go the 140z bone in pork chop which was fantastic. She was really craving a more traditional italian pasta dish and randomly went with this on a whim, but it was a great decision. I had the cheese stuffed tortellini which was done like a carbonara with peas and pancetta in a cream sauce. I also added a chicken cutlet on the side for some protein. My dish was good but fell a little short. The pasta was overcooked and the flavor just wasn't that exciting to eat what seemed to be a never ending portion of tortellini. I still enjoyed it, but would probably try something else on my next visit. After getting the check I'll definitely be back because I felt the prices were more than reasonable for the quality and to be dining downtown.

Went on a girls trip to Charleston and we went here for dinner one night. The ambiance is very upscale with dim lighting and beautiful decorations. The apps were good and as a big fan of Italian food this was delish.

Came here for a dinner on a bachelorette party and really enjoyed the place! We had a large table on the upper level. Our server was great at making sure our large party was taken care of. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful with exposed brick and large windows. The place is hidden on a pedestrian only alley which adds to the European feel of the restaurant. To drink, I had an aperol spritz which was so delicious in the summer heat. I appreciate how thin the glassware is here. To eat, I had the cheese tortellini with peas and pancetta. It was to die for!! I definitely could have split the portion with someone else because it was large and so rich. Every bite was flavorful. Also, the pretzel bred and brown butter they bring to the table is amazing!! I could have eaten a million pieces of it.

Just an amazing meal overall, the pasta and desert were amazing. Must get the apple pie at the end!!!

I have to say this place got an extra star because their staff works very hard and well as a team. They were clearly understaffed and things were a little slow but when you have 1 server and a bartender for all the tables, it's to be expected and they did it and stayed positive the whole time. The oysters Rockefeller and hot bread with oil were the best parts of dinner. The pasta was fine, left room for improvement. The restaurant itself is very neat looking. However, being a cold December day the huge windows let all the heat out and most people kept their jackets on.

The restaurant is beautiful with lots of Southern historic charm. Our server was very nice and gracious and made sure that we had plenty of time to eat our appetizer before our entrees were served. The seafood linguine is a little spicy but very flavorful and the portion size was great. My friend got the pork chop entree and she absolutely loved it.

We had a great dining experience at Vincent Chiccos. Beautiful restaurant with old style Italian vibes. Our server Lizzie was amazing so friendly and gave us the best recommendations. We all decided on the braised short ribs and it was delicious. Before our meal we had fresh bread and tasty olive oil.

It felt cozy without being stuffy and was a great spot for people-watching. The cocktails were well made and balanced, and we got lucky enough to snag a table. The space is pretty small though, so by the time we arrived the bar was full and a lot of people were standing with drinks. Even so, the atmosphere was fun and energetic. Definitely a great spot for a nightcap if you're in the area.

From the moment I walked in, the vibe was intimate, beautiful, and the perfect setting for a relaxed Saturday night cap. What made the experience truly special was the bartender. There's no traditional menu, instead, he takes the time to learn what you like and crafts drinks based on your taste. I've never experienced anything like that before. The level of knowledge and creativity behind the bar was incredible. Every drink he made was stunning and tasted even better than it looked. I was honestly so impressed that I couldn't even remember all the ingredients he mentioned because I was too busy being amazed at how good everything was. It was one of those moments where you realize there are real levels to this craft. I walked in thinking I knew a thing or two about mixing drinks at home, and left with a whole new respect for the art of it. The atmosphere, the personal attention, and the quality of the cocktails made this place feel truly top tier. Huge shoutout to the bartender, easily a 15 out of 10. Cool, knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does. If you're looking for an intimate spot for date night or just want to experience thoughtfully crafted cocktails in a beautiful setting, the Annex is the place. I will absolutely be back as soon as possible.

I don't know why but that was such a great little extra touch.. However, the place is narrow and crowded. Ironically the bathrooms were super large and spacious though. I'd come back for lunch perhaps because the food truly is delicious, when hopefully not as crowded instead of an evening experience here personally... Ps. The server who had just moved from Chicago was amazing! I wish I could remember her name. Super friendly, helpful w the menu and sharing about downtown Charleston. It was the first time I've been here so it was nice to hear her share some things for sure and be so welcoming. Give this girl a raise hahaha.

On the homepage of La Cave there's a picture of a beef wellington that looks soo good but they don't have it. Our server said they haven't had it in awhile because something broke in their kitchen and they had to condense their menu. I was also disappointed with how little our server knew about what was gluten free. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone with celiac. Our cocktails were hit or miss. The la cave martini was great but the le jardin was the most bitter cocktail i've ever had and we gave up on it. The deviled eggs were great! I'd skip the peach salad and the carpaccio it was sooo salty and I love salt but this was hard to get down. The steak frites were really good!! The interior is very elegant and bathed in low lighting with soft music playing while you dine. It's a little small so make sure you make those reservations! We started with cocktails, and I ordered the Jean De Florette with vodka, lillet rose, fig syrup, passion fruit, lime, crushed ice, and a fleur garnish. The fig syrup was the star providing a nice sweet and earthy flavor. My wife enjoyed the Harvest in Provence with charred corn mezcal, see the elephant amaro, bonal, lime, simple syrup, and a spiced corn garnish. This drink is so smokey but very refreshing. We were brought a complimentary hors derv which was a house made potato chip with tuna and spices. Really great for getting your palette ready for the coming meal. They only do this from 5pm to 6pm. We have had our eyes on the Raclette Burger Slider for some time. The burger was a good-sized slider, about the same size as a single cheeseburger with tons of ooey gooey raclette cheese smothering it. Of course, we had to order the Pommes Frites to go with the sliders and they arrived super crispy with a nice rosemary-lemon aioli for dipping. The grand finale was the Boeuf En Croute which was their play on a beef wellington. The filet was a nice medium rare with a flaky pastry crust and a delicious sauce bordelaise. A great way to finished. With its beautiful decor, great service and good food I would highly recommend this place for any date night!
