Independent movie theaters are the best! I always check the Vine first when I'm interested in seeing a movie in theaters. You can get free movie tickets with their free VIP card, collecting points when you purchase tickets or items from the concession stand. I value their transparency as well as I'm usually asked if I want to use my free ticket when it's available but they'll remind me that it works on both matinee and the higher priced evening tickets. I saw Wicked: Part 1 last year at the Vine and it was just as fun seeing Part 2! Loved the decor and themed food and drinks. Looking forward to more themed movie releases!

I always enjoy a great beer, small bites and movies at Vine Cinemas & Alehouse. This has got be the best movie theater experience for the price. As soon as you walk in you have someone from the ticket counter and concession stand greeting you, they have a great choice of local craft brews and the seating is awesome with couch options and intimate. I'd choose this small theater over other newer theaters any day.

Awesome production. The salad was great and we got to sing along to our favorite movie! Ted Neeley with Jesus Christ Super Star was so engaging!! We got a program, sheet music and a mug signed! And multiple HUGS!!!

Love this place so much! The fare is very reasonable, employees are so nice, and it's always so clean! It's a smaller neighborhood movie theater with 2 different rooms that serves up some tasty food and drink (we snuck in snacks, but a couple next to us were feasting on some TASTY looking food from the kitchen haha!). The seats are nice and spread out with a few couches as well! It felt like we were on our living room couch. Definitely more of a homey kinda feel which is great! We also loved how all of the movie pre-show ads were from local businesses in the area. 10/10 will return!

It's clear he takes pride in how the restaurant is run, and it shows through the staff and overall atmosphere. It's not easy to keep a place consistent, but they definitely have it dialed in here. Leather seating and small tables where you can relax and meet up with friends. Our server was friendly who checked on us periodically. Their menu has an interesting blend of choices. They even offer deviled eggs that I hear are pretty spectacular. We ordered the Thai chicken salad and fish tacos. The salad looked quite good and my friend enjoyed it very much. The tacos are on petite, single shells with a piece of fish, avocado and cabbage slaw on each. I happily ate every bite. A side salad would have enhanced this dish. I wish I had ordered an appetizer, like the deviled eggs or brussels sprouts, as it would have rounded out my lunch well and it would have been more filling. I noticed a steady flow of people coming and going. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we were not rushed out by any means. I hadn't seen my friend in person for at least a year so it was nice to sit and just chat in a calm environment. Located directly across First Street from Sauced. This place is another positive addition to downtown Livermore.

In-house we haven't had much issue, but I don't know what's going on with door dash/delivery orders. Almost every time, there's an issue. My littles absolutely love the mini corn dogs, and even though the listing says "with fries" they've suddenly stopped delivering with fries for the past few months ( and don't allow customer notes.) It's also a 50/50 chance the mini corn dogs will be dark and hard... I have a sensitive stomach with dietary restrictions, so I find great comfort that I can get the seared ahi tuna tacos while my husband enjoys a hamburger... but the last few orders have been so wrong. Once I was missing avocado, next I was missing the sauce, and this time my tuna was completely raw, not seared with hard jasmine rice and very tiny avocado slices. I always put input in to DoorDash, but I don't think it's getting to the restaurant... and it's reached a point where I feel like I have to leave this review and maybe find a new go to for quick family dinners. I enjoy visiting, the staff is always so kind and the kids like the back patio. Perfect vibe for a laid back dinner.. but why are the to-go orders so terrible suddenly? Absolutely heartbreaking.

This bar was nothing near quiet and chill when we swung by. It was more of a frat basement vibe (which I actually found quiet endearing). This place is super tiny. When I came, all the chairs/furniture were pushed to the side to make room for a dance floor. The DJ played frat classics like 'Mo Bamba' and somehow created an energy where everyone was being perfectly carefree and dancing all over the place. Everyone was cramped up in the tiny dancefloor but still had enough room to move around and get to the bar. There was a pool table that was covered off to the side and some games lined up on the wall (to likely be used on a more casual and lowkey night). They had a bunch of security. They had guards at the entrance, by the DJ, and at the back door (that I think led to an outdoor patio). I'm not sure if this makes me feel reassured or concerned that they feel the need to have so much security. To me, the drinks were average. I ordered a Vodka Cranberry and felt that it was mostly just cranberry juice. The bartenders were friendly and quick. The prices weren't too bad either. I would definitely come back!

Different scene than other dives- seemed to be a local watering hole for an after work spot on the way home. The TVs played a mixture of a subtitled movie and some obscure sports. As a woman, this was a cool dive bar to exist in without attention. All patrons sat in peace on their phones. Decor is a mixture of Packers // 49ers gear... guessing this is a fun place to visit for a game!

The inside and patio are both casual and open, similar to a brewery, and they have a self-serve tap wall, which is awesome. First time using one, and despite the self-service setup and ordering at the counter, the service we did get was great. Wait time for food wasn't long at all. I ordered the Sessions Burger, and it was lowkey one of the best burger's I've had in a while. I love blue cheese on a burger, and the caramelized onions had a deep, rich flavor. I also liked that it wasn't obnoxiously large for no reason. The fries were perfect, and the ranch was excellent. Honestly, ranch is a good way to judge a place like this, and theirs was rich and smooth. Also really enjoyed the beer I chose. Pouring it yourself is a fun experience, I could spend all day trying different beers. Great spot. Would definitely come back if I'm ever in town again. The hostess was really kind to explain to us how their restaurant works in terms of the self serve beer as you pay at that front beforehand. Whereas, food items and cocktail drinks are ordered at the back left corner. We ordered the "Such a Gemini" and "Paper cut". Both were more on the sweeter side and you couldn't taste the alcohol at all. Quite dangerous really. The "Such a Gemini" was a hibiscus agave drink. The "Paper cut" was more of a fruity mix with the elderflower and lemon mixed in the whiskey, which I was a HUGE fan of. Gorgeous presentation as well! As for the food, we got the Sessions burger (cheeseburger) and cod tacos both with truffle fries. And maaan. Cod tacos were cooked well and super fresh. Big fan of that red salsa on the side. The Sessions burger was juicy and not dry, but I really enjoyed how it served on a pillowy pretzel bun! Would love to bring my family and friends here! I'd recommend this place if you need a space to hangout at.

That especially goes for their hoppy beers, which happen to be my favorite. Altamont is located in a semi-industrial section of Livermore, with many wine tasting rooms and other breweries in the vicinity. The space is a large warehouse with bar taking the central space and a ot of seating spread out. They have multiple TVs and a projector that were all showing NFL football. It was Sunday after all. Throughout the years, I've had many of the Altamont beers, but it's always best to try them out from the source-in their freshest form. I can happily report that despite the changing trends in craft beer industry and declining revenue overall; Altamont is still one of the better breweries in the area. From 10 beers we sampled, not one was something I wouldn't order a full pour of. Obviously, West Coast IPA is what they do best, but even the Oktoberfest and nitro stout weren't bad. The service was quick, and I'll definitely be back when in the area next time. Helpful tip: either get a meal before coming out, or check that there is a food truck scheduled, as Altamont has no kitchen. I didn't notice any restaurants in the walking distance either...
