I want to start off by saying that I have been coming to Sauced for probably a decade now. The service has always been great, the wait time and order to table time have never been bad. The ambience always is great, good music, good crowds, always something to watch for those who just want to kick it and have a drink. The reason for the three star review is that I cant help but notice that the quality and portioning of food has diminished from prior experiences i had here in the past years. To make it worse, prices have only gone up due to inflation. We had the rednexican nachos, burnt ends, sliced brisket ends and fried oreos. The nachos and the fried oreos were great as usual, but the entrees, not so much. The temps were off and the taste was not there, it has not been for the past two visits for us. Not sure if it's the product itself or the preparation of it, but it's just not the same quality i was used to. We love this as a go-to dinner place. We try to go on the weekdays because it does get pretty busy on the weekends. I have tried almost all the different types of bbq and so far my favorite are pork belly burnt ends, brisket, the jalapeno cheddar sausage, and the smoked wings. I also really like the corn bread, mashed potatoes, and the cauliflower appetizer with Korean style sauce. Oh, my favorite bbq sauce is the hot Kansas style. Perfectly spicy! Sauced used to be the SPOT! I haven't been in around a year but decided to come watch the warriors play today and enjoy some barbecue. I ordered a 3 meat combo and wasn't completely disappointed but noticed a decline in quality. The burnt ends felt rushed. Had a chewy dry texture. We stopped by on a Friday evening around 6pm and parking was a bit rough! We managed to find parking in a parking garage a block and a half over. When we arrived around 6PM, the place was packed, but there were still tables available. We got a table outside, and fortunately their heaters were working because it was 50 degrees outside! We were seated and served quickly. The lady was awesome. We ordered a few things to share and the lady heard how excited we were about the corn bread and laughed. She later brought us an extra piece(so yes, we did tip her extra extra!). The food was good, but they were out of burnt brisket ends(not surprsing), so we got the burnt pork belly ends. Also very tasty. Albeit Sauced is not the cheapest place around. We had a good time, the food was good. The server was good. It's a Sauced, same as all the others (meaning overpriced BBQ; but a few good menu items). My main issue with this location is for whatever reason it's impossible to get cell service in the building. It's so bizarre, the cell signal just drops the minute you walk in the door, forcing you to connect to their Wifi (which while free is spotty). As I said, very strange. read more

I came on a tuesday around 6pm and it wasnt too crowded at all. I got pulled pork and brisket, with the sides of garlic mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The pulled pork was really good and the brisket melted in your mouth. There isnt much flavour in the brisket which is why the bbq sauce goes with it. The mac and cheese was alright but the mashed potatoes were really good. It was around 23 dollars for the two meat plate which isnt too bad. Our food took forever to come tho which is why its not 4 stars. Its a nice place, reminds me of a bar/tavern. read more

This time, it was during one of the sporting events at dinner, so the place was packed, but service was fast and Colleen, our waitress was wonderful. Checked out a BBQ spot recently and tried the ribs and BBQ chicken wings. The wings were really good and definitely a highlight. The ribs were good too, but not quite the "fall-off-the-bone" style I usually hope for with great BBQ. Still enjoyable, but I feel like they could be even better. A few people had their dogs with them on the patio. On this trip, we went off script and didn't order BBQ. We always get the brussel sprouts. They add pork belly to them, making them super savory with a mild touch of sweetness (chef's kiss). I love their bumpkins, so I had to get those too. Since the last time we were here, they updated their menu. They brought back the sweet potato casserole, which Honey loves. They also added the jambalaya, which was good as a side dish but not great. It was a large portion, so I see how they could offer it as a main. Honey said it was on the spicier side, but I didn't feel it. Honey had the fried chicken sandwich. She got all the toppings on the side and added some of their BBQ sauce to make it her own. She said the chicken was good, and the flavor combination she created made it even better. The Big Sexy. This is not for the weak. It was packed with flavors but so delicious. The mac & cheese with pepper jack gives you that gooey cheese sensation, the Nashville chicken was a perfect blend of spice and crunch, and the bacon added a little smoky taste. The slaw cut through some of the savory flavors with a hint of sweetness. OMG, it was good. As soon as it got to the table, I had the server give me a to-go box for half. If I had eaten the whole thing, I would have been in a food coma for the rest of the day. Overall, Sauced is a great restaurant with something for everyone. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and was craving BBQ. My girlfriend suggested we check out Sauced, and I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty all the food was. We wanted to order enough for the both of us and to have some leftovers for later. We got the 3-meat combo with the two sides, a side cesar salad, and an order of 6 buffalo wings. The buffalo wings were the first bite I took, and these were really tasty! Great flavor, not heavy on the buffalo, and juicy wings. The cesar salad felt like a true steakhouse salad. Great flavors, plenty of cheese, really good. (makes me want to get the full salad with bbq next time). For the meats, we got the burnt ends, tri tip, and the jalapeno cheddar sausage. I was torn between the sausage and burnt ends as my favorite, but both were really tasty. The tri tip was room temp and on the drier side, so room for improvement there. For sides, we went with the mac salad and potato salad. Both were really done well. Although the mac and cheese was also room temperature, wish it came out hotter. All the food came out pretty quick, less than 10 minutes after we ordered. Since things are prepared ahead of time, I think coming around opening would be the way to get the meats as fresh as possible. Anyways, I got easily seated with no wait. I ordered the 2 meat combo, and a sweet tea. I got the Tri tip, jalapeno sausage, cornbread and Mac and cheese as my options. At first glance, I thought it wasn't much food but after having a few bites, I took back my words. It was enough lol The cornbread was my absolute favorite. They even used real corn! The sausage was a tasty meat. Probably the star on the plate. The Tri tip tasted room temperature was a little odd. hmm. Sadly, my Mac and cheese, seemed as there wasn't enough Mac and way too much cheese. It was more cheese with Mac lol The sauces on the table are awesome though! Upon reading another review here, they have a lunch menu, which we were not given or offered to see. My nachos w/brisket were okay, 4/5. I liked the sauces available at the table. I've been to this location and Walnut Creek. Not sure if they were understaffed but we seen some empty tables and we waited 30 mins to sit down. The brisket and the Brussels were good. I always have a great time here, even when it's busy and everyone is running around, the staff are generally attentive and quick. That said, it can get unbearably loud in the main area, as it's very large and there are TVs everywhere. The food is flavorful, and the portions are reasonable for the price. A number of the sauces are gluten free, and the smoked brisket and burnt ends are delicious. They do not offer gf buns or bread, so if you get a burger or sando, it'll be lettuce wrapped. I haven't asked about their contamination protocols with the cooktop in the back and am a little afraid to bc the fryer is for everything, so no fries for me (though my husband adores them, both seasoned and plain). read more
