Great place. I highly recommend this park. It has a pool, weight room, small store and other amenities. If I want to let my dog to run off leash the quiet road outside the park heading east goes past a storage building with a lot of lights for after dark walks. Then over the RR tracks and down to the Salinas River for during the daylight. I have a juvenile big dog that needs to run. This is perfect. They do have a small and big dog park. There is 24 hr surveillance and security guard at night. A very safe and inclusive RV park. read more

The new management gives NO communication on repairs being done to the park. They can't keep up with repairs that are needed with the rentals they have. Takes them forever to even complete the repairs they start. The dog park had bricks REMOVED rather than reset and they put in 3/4" granite rock so the dogs can cut their paws open crossing it to get to the grass area, which they don't take care of! read more

I give this resort a 4.5 if I could. We stayed here 8/15-8/20 in the two bedroom one bath cottage while my parents had their RV fully hooked up next door. It was the perfect set up for us so we were able to go back and forth. The resort grounds were very clean and the greenery was well manicured. The cottage was very clean inside equipped with a fridge, keurig, pots, pans, cups and misc kitchen wear ( we didn't really use much of it since we cooked in my parents RV) but we did use the fridge for fruits, the keurig and microwave. We were greeted with a "Welcome package " provided by the resort, which comprised of a little baggie with masks, hand sanitizer and surface wipes. We thought that was awesome and super helpful! There were AC units in both rooms which kept the whole cottage very cold, we even turned it off at night because it was very strong. We traveled with a 16 month old who is used to sleeping in a crib so we brought a blow up toddler bed that fit in the living room, otherwise there is not enough space in the rooms for a small crib. We had a hornet or wasps nest right above the doorway on the outside of building that had a handful was hornets flying in and out. We told the office right away and the maintenance staff got rid of the nest right then and there. They were quick to respond. We also had an ant problem inside the cottage, starting in the kitchen and then the bathroom and bedroom, but for some reason we were not bothered by the ants and we didn't tell the office. I'm sure if we did, they would have taken care of ants. The location was close to wine tasting and about 45 mins to Avila beach. I would come back to stay here again! read more

We stayed in a cottage for a baseball tournament that stated it slept 6. We are a family of 6 and everything was very small & super tight. We couldn't get a single TV to work because it couldn't connect to the internet. The internet service was terrible, even on our cell phone. The hot water in the shower takes 4 minutes to heat up & if you try and move the knob it shoots out freezing water while your in the shower. The water pressure also sucked and was barely anything. We took our kids to the pool & ran out of towels & there is no way to replenish them or get more. The office is closed during the weekends. We had to walk around the entire site to find someone on a golf cart. There was no way to get a hold of anyone since the office was closed. They also made us wash our own dishes & put them away as well as sweep the entire cottage before we left & strip the sheets. If we were staying in a normal hotel, we wouldn't have to do any of that. The only positive thing we had was it was close to the baseball fields & the pool was heated for my kids. After going thru a lot of inconveniences I would not stay here again. read more

So the park itself is absolutely beautiful, well maintained, and the spots are huge. The convenience store is great, well priced, and the employees are just wonderful! The amenities are very clean and well maintained, I loved the pool and jacuzzi. I also loved the large dog park just as much as my dogs. It was full of lush green grass and was just gorgeous. My issues with this park are around freeway noise (minor) and the actual RVers and visitors here (huge). Due to the people/visitors here, I will probably never go back. I paid for my parents to come here for a week vacation & enjoy the pool & hot tub. Was very disappointed to hear how dirty the pool is kept with leaves & dirt not to mention bug maintenance not being practiced so the crickets are over running the pool & how they don't keep up with the rules on not allowing children in the hot tub! Located right off the freeway this high end resort spacious all the amenities pools spa lounge fire places very well kept very nice staff winery's are close food places will deliver for s small charge . Only negative is the freeway noise so I recommend book on the opposite end it's a bit pricey 95 dollars a day so I hope this helps read more

The sites are very tight. The office staff is unfriendly and unaccommodating. If you are near the pool they will leave the music blasting until 10 pm. Lots of freeway noise. Different rules for the long term guests compared to the short term guests. On a positive note, it was clean. read more

The facility was facility was very clean with easy hook ups & cozy RV parking. The friendly kitty cats on the property made me feel right at home, since I am an animal lover. Very well set up. Concrete pad separated by 7 ft hedge highlighted with mini rose plants at each end. Beautiful pool area-2 pools and hot tub with abundant sun chairs. It was raining while we were here but it looks like the pools and hot tub are open all year, which I very much appreciate. A large dog park. Fenced. Grass. Poop bags and a couple of chairs. Don't bother with the small dog park. All dirt. About 8 x 8. Very clean laundry room. 4 washers. 4 dryers. $2 wash. $1.75 dry. Keypad entry to laundry and pool. Met several longtime residents. Was pleasantly surprised they didn't come with the clutter of many park full-timers. Quiet with easy access to shopping and freeways. Pull-thrus, backins and many park models. Very pleasant check-in staff. Would love to spend more time here. Only complaint is that the laundry room didn't have any carts to haul laundry from washer to dryer. Or a clock. read more

This RV park can definitely be described as a resort, everything is brand spanking new and very clean. Chandeliers in the bathroom and marble showers rival most hotel chains. A bit pricey, especially for budget-minded or full time travelers but if you're looking for a park with amenities of a hotel (pool and Jacuzzi) than this might be a place for you. Didn't understand pricing structure with three tiers, back-in is back-in but those against the freeway are the most inexpensive, back-ins across the lot were a premium charge. Personally I would have feared for my life parked within 60 feet of highway 101 and the constant traffic would not have provided a restful nights sleep which is the whole reason of using an RV park. A hard time giving this resort a fourth star it could deserve because of its units age policy but experience turned out okay with Maria behind the desk. Had we arrived for an early check-in I'm not sure we would have received the same welcome. Wi-Fi was consistent enough to catch up on some work and signal was strong during our visit, surprising considering its Tengo Internet. I left out one flaw because it wasn't the managements fault, people are pigs everywhere. Willing to give the park another try if when we pass through this region again. read more

The Vines RV Resort is very clean and it's lovely to have concrete pads. The folks are wonderful and we love the escort service to the site - a nice touch. We had a situation where we were going to move to another site but the on-site Manager took care of it immediately - we were very impressed with the customer service. Internet service is up and down a lot which can be frustrating but we worked through it. The only complaint we really had and the reason for only 4-stars is because the freeway noise is terrible! Both nights so far, we have been awakened by the large trucks going up and down Highway 101. Maybe because the Resort isn't full right now so there is no buffer noise? Anyway, we hope that someday a retaining wall might be built with some large noise filtering trees and shrubs - hopefully that will help. The Resort is close to town and Highway 46 where lots of wineries are located is only about 10-15 minutes away! read more

Very nice on.phone but be careful when booking they do not mention if.you need to cancel 21 days or less they charge $50 I told the gal at time of booking I wasn't sure which weekend I was able to get off and I was not 100 percent positive I could make this trip happen. At that time she could have stated not to book until you know for certain to avoid this fee Now we can't go and I don't want to reschedule We are traveling a complete different direction. I will call my credit card company but because of this we will never go there. After purchasing a new Motorhome, my wife and I wanted to take it on a mini "shakedown" trip. So, we drove 45 miles north of the Pismo Beach dealer and stayed for 2 nights at the Vines. We were delighted with their facilities. The pool and spa were immaculate. The grounds were spotless. The restrooms, showers and laundry facilities were modern and clean. Erin at the front desk took excellent care of us and even upgraded us to a pull-through site given that we are"newbies" in the world of RVs. Other reviews have mentioned the traffic on Hwy 101, adjacent to the park. Yes the Hwy is close but the noise is NOT overwhelming and the park's grounds and amenities make up for a little background noise. The resort is only a 8-10 minute drive to the fabulous wineries in the area and very convenient to Downtown Paso Robles without having to deal with navigating a large Motorhome through downtown traffic. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful oasis in Paso Robles. read more

Vines RV Resort is pretty new, opening in 2013, and it shows. Everything is in great shape. Sites, restrooms, showers, pools, laundry, etc. But no matter how nicely maintained the RV park is, it is not the main attraction. The region of Paso Robles is deservedly world-famous for its wineries and rolling hills. No matter where you drive, north, south, east, or west, you will find non-stop farms and vineyards, and endless tastings. If however you're looking for a campground or RV park to keep you entertained, you will be limited. And, sadly, it's also located directly on the 101. So pretty noisy. So... if you're into wines, then the Vines RV Resort is a very fine base park your rig. And we will certainly keep this on our list for the next time we're in the neighborhood. read more

This rv resort has very clean and enjoyable amenities. Great bar with a pool table, general store, domino's kiosk, pool, spa, and dog run. Their staff is very accommodating and even swung us a deal to extend our stay. The only downside (and it's a BIG one) is the amount of noise coming from the freeway. I can't understand why they wouldn't build up their bordering wall to help deflect some of that. We've stayed here twice and each time had a hard time staying asleep. The RV park off of the 46 is owned by the same company and seemingly does a better job of drowning it out. read more

The park is very nice and clean,but the price you have to pay is not. Although they don have bed tax like Flying Flags in Bullton. Same company own two, Wine Country,but prices are way better at Wine Contry. Lots of freeway noise. Went to mens shower to find shower chair was wallaby and not safe at all, and the floors in the showers need cleaning. Will only stay there in a pinch. read more

The Vines is hands down my favorite RV resort! Although staying there does not come with beautiful views of nature, it does not matter to me! The staff is always friendly and helpful. We have always met friendly neighbors staying at the resort as well. At night, the resort is quiet and feels safe. But my favorite reasons to stay here are the bar/lounge and the gorgeous private bathrooms! The Vines mixes the feeling of camping with a luxury hotel! I have been staying here at the Vines off and on for the past 5 years when our home is booked "Air BNB". I have seen staff changes over the years as well as improvements to this lovely RV resort. The staff they have right now, Laura, Nicole, Sophia, Cody, Blanca, and Steve go out of there way to accommodate our needs. We all know nothing is perfect however they do there best to meet the needs of the guests. The grounds are kept clean and they have recently added solar/covered parking around the park. All the pads are nice stamped concrete and are well maintained. There are two swimming pools and a spa. They are working on updating the gym and adding a rec room with a pool table, shuffle board and much more. They also have a large banquet room but Do to COVID restrictions some of these have been delayed. This is really a nice park to stay at whether you're coming for the weekend or if you need to stay for an extended period of time. A BIG THANK YOU to all the staff Gary read more

Came here for a Holiday weekend stay. Issue number 1, heater in cottage bedroom did not work. Arrived on Wednesday eve and the following day was a Holiday. Called emergency evening number and no answer and of course voice mail box was full. Called the office and left a message with no return phone call. Had to run out to the local target 15 miles away to buy a space heater. No one was around the entire holiday weekend from Thursday to Saturday. Needed shampoo and linens no one around to offer any help. Although it's a holiday, this is a busy time and we did expect some degree of service. Also, Wifi is horrible and does not work. Disappointing stay. read more

I hate to say it but booked this site with family, so I was hoping it would be a great place since it was highly rated. The office staff are sweet unfortunately it is a bit of a loud campsite, I mean 2 am yelling and motorcycles revving up louder than necessary. We were placed right in front of the small dog area, wished we could have moved. I also did not realize that the freeway was literally in sight, not the view I was hoping for at all. As highly rated this rv site was, it did not impress us whatsoever. I felt like we drove 6 hours to visit just a mediocre at best rv site. Won't be back, nothing special, priced way too high for just concrete pad sites....:( read more

On a recent trip to California to purchase a new Toy Hauler we decided to spend a few days in the Paso area. We had attempted to stay at a location where we had stayed previously. However, it was unavailable so they recommended the Vines. We booked our reservations and we're glad we did. It was extremely nice and very clean with all the conveniences one could ask for. BBQ, pool, spa and wonderful concrete pads with full hook ups. They were friendly and helpful and just glad we were there. This will be a repeat for me. They even have a Bar onsite with Beer & Wine and friendly staff. I recommend this one for anyone in the area. Michael & Betty S. read more

Nice long park sites; however, the showers had a couple of issues. The floors were slick when wet, three of the 5 shower stalls had no shower heads and there were 2 dead cockroaches outside the women's bathroom door. Be careful when you pull out. Trees are not trimmed. Not worth $84.00 nightly. read more

Didn't even want to give them one star but 0 wasn't an option. When I made the reservation over the phone I was given site numbers for mine and my sister's site and was told if I decided to stay an extra day that would be an option. When we arrived we were given different sites than agreed upon. Person at check in did not make us feel welcome at all very straight faced and zero friendliness. Next, the bathroom/showers nearest to us were closed. It was very odd but not one person who was camping there acknowledged us with even a simple hello. Anywhere else we have stayed everyone was friendly and helpful. When we asked to stay another night we were told they were full. This place is so close to the highway and the sounds from cars/trucks/honking were constant. If u pay a little extra u can get a deluxe site further from the highway which was literally across the driveway and just as loud. What a joke. I recommend staying on the side of the road rather than this place. read more

My husband and I booked our sites here with another couple last month in order to see the Sensorio lights and to relax for another day. We booked our sites together and when we arrived, we were not together and there were NO attempts to accommodate us. "The computer is in charge, you should have paid a "lock in fee", so remember to do that if you expect to be in adjoining sites. We've never had that type of issue before in other parks. There were clearly other sites available. We also booked here because of the amenities on the website. The pools are nice, but the jacuzzi feature in the hot tub didn't work. The bathrooms are nice. The other people in RV's were nice. The restaurant was closed, the lounge was closed for remodeling. At best, this info should be corrected on the website. All in all, there were far too many excuses made by the staff for any requests or observations we made. I really feel that I was "fooled " by a website, and when we come again, we'll stay at another resort. read more

We just spent the past weekend at this RV Resort. This place is very clean, spacious concrete pads and EXTREMELY friendly staff. I love the fact that they have two pools, one for kids and one for adults, lots of patio furniture and tables. In the evening the bar/lounge is a nice way to relax and enjoy a beer (805 was my husbands favorite or a glass of wine. Cory ROCKS! Yes there is a freeway that's right along the front row. We stayed on the third row back from the freeway and could hardly hear it. So it you are a light sleeper request when making a reservation that you want to be as far from freeway noise as possible. The staff is very accommodating. Only down side to this resort is that the small dog park is very small and their store doesn't have much in there. However there is a gas station/store across the highway that has plenty of items. We like this place so much we already have reservations for end of August and November. Super RV Resort! This resort is very well maintained and has every amenity. There are two pools with surrounding patios and a large BBQ area with tables and chairs. The ballroom is available for RV rally groups with crystal chandeliers, a cozy fireplace with couches surrounding it all on lovely carpet. There is also a full kitchen which is nicely equipped. Thursday - Sunday there is a wine and beer service available in one of the rooms complete with pool tables. There are two dogs runs, one at each end of the park. The staff here are amazing including Cindy, the manager who goes out of her way to accommodate people and events - Stephanie and Ashley are as well. read more

Well I've been on the list for a cottage or monthly RV spot for over a month. Well gentlemen I work with showed up four weeks after I got on the list and already have multiple monthly rv spots and 2 cottages. I keep in contact with the office on a regular basis. Even stop by in person multiple times a week, and they tell me nothing is available. Also you can call the office multiple times and they won't answer. Unless they have a crush on you then they answer right away. We have personally experienced this. read more
