Nice clothes but they're beyond my budget. I assisted my daughter. She took advantage of her employers corporate discount and purchased a red gingham shirt for her boyfriend. She also bought him a pair of socks. The shirt was not on sale. This shirt sells for around $100! She said he likes gingham. The socks sell for around $16. So the moral of this story is to shop here if you can afford it and like a style that leans towards the preppy look. Plus it's nice if you get a corporate discount. read more

My 12 year old daughter loves this store! However when I went into this location there was nothing exciting going on- just if you spent $100, you get a free type of bag. When I asked if there were any specials or sales, they told me things were going on yesterday. That doesn't help. So the items are classic for all ages, but at full price it's out of my budget. I can wait for their next sale. And so can my tween. read more

I love Vineyard Vine compared to other stores in the United States staff at the time was a little difficult. The store has a very cozy feel and seems like they carry newer or more merchandise. Alright .. well I'd hate to break the norm here, but this place is not as bad as everyone makes it seem. I mean sure, I wouldn't say their customer service is up to par with higher end boutiques but definitely not a dealbreaker especially when you have to return something and your only other option is a long drive to Manhasset. Moving on, this store is a beautiful corner store with a mural! When I came in, someone greeted me and I was shocked since I couldn't even tell he worked there. All the workers are dressed in preppy Vineyard Vines to accommodate the dress code, they all look very spiffy so I don't mind. Everything is well organized in the store and they now have the whale baseball caps, which I read in a previous review that they don't have. I came here to return something, (cue the dramatic music) and fortunately I didn't have such a bad time. I was helped by who I could only assume was the manager, an older looking male. He was kind of slow but didn't ask any questions, and especially not the annoying "why do you want to return this" question which was nice. The only awkward thing was that he said NOTHING. I stood in silence the whole time he processed my return. Not really sure how I felt about that.. I guess I'm neutral. I'm very surprised to see the negative reviews on here, my son and I were just visiting New York from Seattle we went into this location and the employees were amazing we were there for over an hour. The staff was super friendly and helpful with every detail of our shopping. I recommend this store over many others on the same street. read more

Growing up in Lahore, Pakistan my grandfather always said life without color is meaningless. He would've loved Vineyard Vines, timeless color combinations with classic styles. The staff here is terrific as well. I like going to this Vineyard Vines the most because it's seldom crowded. You can find everything online in the store and they're always prepared with stock in the back in case you can't find your size. Additionally, the employees are always super helpful and will actually tell you if something looks good or bad on you. Keep up the good work! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Unhelpful, I'll-mannered, condescending staff. Don't plan to return.

After reading some of the low reviews of this location, I was a bit skeptical of visiting this place. I was discouraged but yet intrigued to go see what they were talking about. I had a return to make, so I needed to go. I was greeted by an associate from the register. That was nice. I looked around to see what they had in their store; the men's section had the usual Shep Shirts, polos, khakis, pullovers. All was nice and organized. I proceeded to make the return, the gentleman was nice and began with the return. While he did that, I noticed that he didn't have a name tag (this was to make sure I knew his name if any problems were to occur with this associate). He wanted to give me store credit for one of the items, he explained that since it was an online order and I didn't have the receipt, he could only offer store credit. My response: No buddy, you can look up my online account and transaction using my email and order number. After that, he did in fact find the item and returned all items back onto my card. A good associate would know all possible different options a customer has for a return without a receipt (especially if I told him I purchased it online and the 60 day return policy has not expired). Maybe he was new! But all in all, it was rather a nice experience, especially for a return. read more

Cute store with friendly staff, selection is a bit limited. I tried on a mint green sweater and a pink dress and the fit for both was way off (too big) so I think there is some vanity sizing going on with this brand. read more

I got a gift card and brought some children's clothes for my son. Frankly speaking, their clothes are more expensive comparing to the similar brands and their quality doesn't worth that much. Staff was very weird and awkward, especially the woman at the register. When I brought my item up to the counter for purchase, she didn't greet me or make eye contact. She just said, "Juan, ring her up." I was taught that you do not refer to someone in the third person when they are standing right in front of you and second, one needs to make eye contact with the customer when they are standing right in front of you. I am truly impressed with this Vineyard Vines store. I was in on Monday and purchased a shirt. Unfortunately I forgot my cardigan in the changing room. I did not have high hopes of getting it back, however when I called the store the manager had put it aside for me and shipped it to me right away. I received it today (Wednesday) and am truly impressed with the level of service I received. The store itself is beautifully displayed and all of the associates were very friendly. I visited the third avenue store to inquire about a sale item. My husband is a huge fan of vv and we shop in both the retail stores and outlet. Brian helped me and was fabulous. Not only did he locate the item I was looking for, but he also found several other items that I assumed were sold out. He was careful to explain that the items would be coming from different locations and would arrive separately. Everything arrived in two days, and they waived shipping. I also visited with my 11 year old niece during the height of the holiday season....the sales associate gave her her full attention, and treated her like a young adult. Five stars! read more
