So when a friend and I were in NYC for a long weekend a few weeks ago, I really wanted to stop by the storefront when were shopping in the Lower East Side (I had only bought online previously). I'm so glad we stopped in. It's just as colorful and fun and wild in the store as the website and all of her designs are (even the storefront from across the street is something fun and joyful). The store is small, so they don't sell everything in the shop that they have online, I don't think. I personally love Susan Alexandra's Judaica collection (mezuzahs, dreidels, menorahs) and her home goods (glassware, tableware, etc), and I didn't notice much of that in the store. You can find a lot of jewelry and bags - as well as some other items, and they are set up so you can make your customize your own charm bracelets or necklaces in the store (they do it right then and you have it in your hand in no time at all). I wanted to replace a charm bracelet I had lost, and I wanted the charms from their Jewish deli necklace but in bracelet form. No problem - quick and easy - and I walked out wearing it. The service at the store was great (two employees were there when I was - one doing checkouts and one doing the custom jewelry, so I got to speak to both of them and they were both lovely, friendly, helpful). Not everything at Susan Alexandra is for me (I'm a middle millennial, and a lot of her designs just scream "FOR GEN Z ONLY" and seem too young for me), but it's still such a fun store to visit and you might find something you love. While I was waiting we were looking around and just browsing. If you are an avid shopper of any luxury brand, who your CA will make or break your experience with your shopping. My client advisor for this appt was Farid Naderi and he made my appt very chill and relax. I definitely was not planning on buying anything on this exact day since this was literally day 0 in NYC for us and I'm glad Farid did not made me feel like I needed to buy something. We visited this location the week before the fifa world cup championship game so it was a bit busy. I did buy a city guide book and dropped off my passport. It was ready in 24 hours if not less. I think it was ready the same day but I did not pick it up until we were back in the area which was 3 days later. All in all amazing experience at this flag ship store and I am glad I was able to accomplish my passport stamps.

If anything, it may be worth going in to confirm your sizing, but I'd rather shop at another boutique or online. I ended up having to go through corporate for a resolution for an item that ripped right after I bought it, after this boutique never returned my calls and was unhelpful and curt over the phone when I finally reached them. The experience and quality is H&M, but the pricing is at a premium. While I'll probably buy from MM la fleur again, it won't be at this boutique, which is a shame because it's the closest to my home and work.

MM Lafleur's stuff is overpriced and basic, but I can count on it to fit me well. I ordered $2K of stuff and paid extra for expedited shipping. I just wanted a simple solution and was willing to pay $ for it. Fedex then refused to deliver to my address because I had forgotten the unit number. After waiting 45 minutes on hold with them, I confirmed my name , contact info and the order number, and called from the phone number on the package, but they refused to deliver. (I gave them the correct unit number, or gave them the option of leaving it inside of a locked gate at that address they had access to, but they refused). I contacted MM Lafleur via email hoping they could make it right, but they basically shrugged their shoulders and said 'we've processed your refund, you should have your money back in 7-10 days.' They claimed that Fedex said I refused the package, which couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm going to be working all weekend and don't have the time to go on a shopping trip. I would happily go to a Fedex location to pick it up, happily arrange to be outside the front address when it's delivered. Insult to injury, they said -- 'please update your address so this doesn't happen with future orders.' Sometimes people make mistakes with addresses, I've never had a Company refuse to contact the carrier to make an update. Just laziness with a side of "not my problem" attitude. It didn't seem like MM's customer service bothered to read my email and wasn't interested in engaging. (Maybe they're using AI instead of employees, who knows). Maybe their reps are paid based on how quickly they "resolve" cases. I know I shouldn't be shocked by crappy customer service, but I've had better experiences with Spirit Airlines. MM LaFleur -- do better.

They always offer a helping hand when it comes to sizes. The selection is vast and everything here is organized neatly. On a more personal note, I visited Albertine three times before deciding to feature it on The Boutique of the Week, not because I was wary of the selection, but the price is higher than my norm. However, Albertine truly is too good to pass up and is the perfect place to splurge and treat yourself to an amazing piece (or two, or three...). The jewelry is the best feature of Albertine and will have you coming back just to drool over it. The exquisitely edited collection is priced from $100 to a steep $1,000+. The beautiful vintage pieces are displayed in glass cases, but touching and dressing up is encouraged. Delicate necklaces share a wall with leather cuffs, and pendants of owls and horns share a case with a silver snake ring and jade earrings. Prices can only be found out from a large binder where handwritten notes and photos document the inventory. The womenswear boasts up-and-coming designers and custom-made pieces that are feminine and vintage-inspired ranging from $150-600+. Flowy fabrics in all colors can be found in floor-length silk gowns and highly-structured bomber jackets. The cozy store normally only has one or two sizes displayed, but the staff is happy to find you the perfect fit in the back. A Victorian couch faces a large mirror for ample viewing, and you can even sometimes find the owner's dog napping as the eclectically chic staff offers spot-on critiques and styling tips.
