this is my 4th time in the last six months of coming to LoveshackFancys location on Madison avenue, and im writing this review because of the few times ive visited and had an issue the manager brianne was very helpful and rectified the issues in a timely and reasonable manner, and i highly recommend going to this store during any of their pop ups and installations because you'll never know what you might find or who will be there! Ive dropped in for the LSF x Stanley 2024 Holiday collection , The Roller Rabbit Holiday collection where they offered complimentary onsite embroidery / monogramming with purchase of the pajama set, and today for their dylans candy bar installation which featured custom confections for this collab! Im excited to see what becky and the team cook up next because one things for certain two things for sure i know its going to be exclusive, luxury fun and pink! and what could be better than that?!! read more

This store is adorable! Pink, pink, pink EVERYWHERE! Sweetly pretty clothes, and sweetly pretty sales assistants, wearing clothes from the store. It's beautifully decorated with lush floral arrangements, inside and out. There are clothes and accessories for children and girls/young women. We went there to find something for my daughter, but alas ended up with an accessory that was beautifully packaged with tissue and bows. She's not particularly girly at this point in her life. I wish that this store had existed when she was little. My mother and I would have bought everything! It's a Madison Avenue boutique, so prices are about what you would expect. A simple mini dress was $475. Pens with faux flowers are $20. read more

Came here while visiting NYC with my 10 year old daughter and were completely ignored by the staff, who were preoccupied in conversation with one another and looking through inventory. The manager (or the woman who appeared to be the manager) was oddly sitting on the floor in the middle of the room, sorting through clothes and did not even look up or say hello when we walked in. We were forced to practically step over her to get to the back room; she acted like we didn't exist. Beyond bizarre behavior, made even more awkward by the fact it's a tiny store. We left after a few minutes and took our business down the street to Roller Rabbit, with a fantastic manager who greeted us warmly and assisted us with our purchases. By the way, my daughter LOST EVERYTHING when our house burned down in the recent Los Angeles fires and we took this trip to replace some of her prized belongings. Shame on this store for being so rude, you have lost a customer. By the way--just read through the reviews and saw a nearly identical review to mine, who echoed my experience with my daughter. This store just opened in November 2020 and is one of the prettiest, girliest shops on the Upper East Side. It looks like how I imagine the children's book character Eloise would design a pink store as an adult. If flowers and bows and feminine details are your style, you will love this new shop. As a mother of three girls, one of whom is a tween, Love Shack Fancy was on our list of places to go during our recent trip to NYC. We had first learned about the brand when they had a collab with the GAP in 2023 and purchased several items then, which my girls and myself loved. We visited the Upper East Side Love Shack Fancy store on August 9, 2024 around 2pm, after our visit to The Met. My daughter was full of excitement before we went in. Because it had been raining, I wanted to be courteous by not bringing our wet umbrellas into the store, as I knew it was on the higher-end and did not want to be inconsiderate to their space. Because I also had our 7 year old with us, I wanted to be extra conscientious about the target audience of the business and had my husband remain outside with her so that we wouldn't be 'those people' with a child that was touching everything on their shopping racks and displays. My daughter and I entered the store and she was eager to smell three fragrances that she had read about. We immediately went to a small table that housed the fragrances for her to smell in order to choose which one to purchase. The store was completely quiet and empty, except for us and two other young girls next to a large display table near the clothing racks. They were taking a bunch of photos of each other, posing with different items and at times loudly bursting out laughing. I assumed they were some customers that were posing for Instagram or maybe that they thought of themselves as influencers, etc. Every now and then, one of them would look over at us and give us a side eye. At the time, I thought that it was maybe because they were worried that we'd go near their mini 'photoshoot' and ruin their shots, so I made sure that we'd steer clear of their 'area' so they could capture all the shots they wanted (I have an older teen girl, I get it!). Because of this, we then proceeded to go toward the back of the store to remain out of their way and my daughter say a cute bath towel with blue bows on it. My daughter asked me if they had the towel with pink bows, to which I said, "I'm not sure" while I tried to look around for a shop person. Just at that moment, the two girls that had been near the front, when into the changing area to change their clothing again and I realized that THEY must be the shop people. We waited for a bit for them to come out, so that I could ask them about the towel, however they remained back there doing their thing and it felt awkward to say 'excuse me, I have a question' while the worker was getting changed in a changing room. Things started to click to me that this was not going to be the exciting shopping experience my daughter and I had looked forward to. We couldn't purchase the perfume or towel as the employees were now MIA, had never greeting us to let us know they were the shop workers, and had even been leering at us during their photoshoot as if we were inconveniencing them my entering the store. Things just didn't feel right and I started to become overcome with sadness for my daughter as her shopping experience was disintegrating my the minute. I said quietly to her, "It's ok, shall we go?" to which she agreed. Funny enough, just as we opened the door to leave the shop, one shop worker emerged from the back and snarkily (I know, I hate to even say that) said to us, "Bye" in a 'Bye, Felicia" type of tone (again, I feel ridiculous saying it like that, but that's the only way to properly convey the look, expression, and tone of her voice). I left the store heartbroken for my daughter who is at such an impressionable age and it made me feel bad that people actually treat people that way in a high-end store. I felt embarrassed and a bit at a loss for words in the moment, so I didn't even tell my husband, other children or elderly mother who was with us what had just transpired. Instead, I sent them back to the hotel in a taxi in order to continue shopping with just my middle child and so that I could quickly address my daughter's feelings with her in private. We talked about the encounter, how people may treat you, how to try not to let others make you feel less than, and remaining true to yourself. read more

I was the only one in the store. Won't be back. Disappointed because was so excited to make purchase but she made me so unwelcome. read more

I LOVE LSF! I've only ever shopped LSF online so when I moved to Manhattan, it was a plan of mine to visit the SoHo location. But the pandemic hit and I found myself inside more than ever. Fast forward to a random stroll I was taking on the UES (where I live) where I stumbled upon the Madison Ave location that I had no idea existed! But the floral designs on the outside of the building are so iconic, I just KNEW I stumbled upon LSF. Apparently they just opened in November 2020. It is so cute in here and you can of course expect the workers to be dressed head to toe in in LoveShackFancy like proper brand ambassadors. Love this store. read more

I loved my time here, the sales associates were so friendly and quick to help me out. I'm pretty sure they work on commission but I definitely didn't feel overly pressured.
