Ok, it is noisy because of all the chopping that's going on but so what. Everything was fresh. Salads are large and can easily be shared by 2. They are very accommodating in changes to the posted ingredients. It is crowded and the line doesn't move that fast but neither of those facts would keep me from coming back again and again. Although I go to this cafe and enjoy their wraps, something disturbed me today. The wrap maker was opening a cardboard box before asking for my order. He took my order and proceeded to make my wrap. He should have changed his gloves and I felt ashamed to ask him to. I know that had I not been standing there, I would not have seen this. But I saw it and it bothered me. So happy I stopped in today after 15 years. Moved back down to the sunshine state after a lot of exceptional food in Chicago and was so happy Vinny's continues to deliver. This is a true local spot in Boca. It has been around for years and never disappoints. They offer the best wraps and chopped salads around. The portions are huge, good enough for two meals. My personal favorite is the chicken Caesar wrap. It had chopped up croutons in it which gives the wrap that special crunch. One nice thing that they offer is fresh chopped chicken. If you order something with chicken in it they chop the breast fresh in front of you. That makes for a moist texture. This place gets very busy around lunch time and when school lets out. Calling ahead is a good choice here so you can skip the line. Seating is good for up to about 5. Any more than that and it may be an issue finding a seat. Definitely a must have when in town. The staff is helpful and friendly which makes the experience even better. 5 stars for sure! read more

the food was really good, but the service was so bad it's not worth giving it a second try. my friend and i walked in on 3:00 this Saturday afternoon, there was maybe a customer or 2 in there. there were at least 10 workers around but no one acknowledged us. I guess they finally figured out who/what/how to make the sandwich. We finally get to the end of the line and pay. We were thinking about eating there, so I asked if I could order a chicken quesadilla to go while we were eating. The nasty older lady replied, then why wouldn't you have told me that when you ordered your other food? I apologized and said next time I'll order all together in the beginning that it was my first time there. I waited 20 mins sitting there waiting on 1 quesadilla. Food is great and the only reason I'm giving 3 stars today is because the kid that took my order today (green backwards hat and a light up gas mask looking face covering) was so goddamn rude taking our order for no reason, I'm in the Biz so I usually tip heavy but this mf got $2 and that's only because I don't have it in me to leave $0 but that's what he deserved. He never made eye contact when initially taking our order so we didn't know he was talking to us so he began to yell at us everytime he had to repeat himself because he spoke down to the floor, no eye contact, and muffled! When I got back to the office excited to eat my salad not to mention famished from my workout, I realized there was no blue cheese in the salad. Are you kidding me?? I've been to Vinny's a handful of times now and previously my experiences were better. Today I ordered three meals from Vinny's for pick up on my lunch break. Unfortunately an employee had given my order to someone else. I understand mistakes happen, but I didn't receive as much as an apology for the mistake. The other employees were annoyed that the situation occurred and I waited for someone to remake the three lunches. I got the Greek salad, the chicken was not very good at all. Number one I know the owners of this restaurant are not good people number two I know the people that work there have no experience with food number three their food is terrible. The people that own this place tried to kick me out because of my service dog and that something that pissed me off don't eat the food here you're gonna get sick I've seen pest control here on many different occasions at Vinny if they were in New York City restaurant in Manhattan, they would have an F people that work here have no experience doing anything and they have no social skills either quick and quick out and they didn't give me chips for five different times when I asked for them they're supposed to be included and the buffalo chicken is some of the worst and it's all frozen they try to charge me an extra $10 for an extra few pieces of chicken. He went on to say that I was blocking the path and I quickly responded telling him that he did not have to come outside yelling at costumers and he could have just told us to make a bigger path. Vinny's Cafe is the perfect spot for a fast, healthy, and filling lunch. You can order any of their chopped creations as a salad or wrap. I chose the Asian style one which was jam-packed with chicken, Mandarin oranges, crunchy noodles, veggies, and so much more. I was torn between the two but decided to go with a wrap which was a good choice since it was so stuffed- I ended up with a little salad on the side because it was busting at the seams! Since Boca moves at a snail's pace, I'm always hesitant to go out for lunch on my hour break and admittedly got nervous when I saw the line that was practically out the door at Vinny's! It moved so fast though and the dudes at the counter make the food right in front of you as you order. My friend and I had lunch with more than enough time to enjoy it on the outside tables. I'm really on the fence about this place. The wraps and salads are fresh, made-to-order, packed with plenty of food and good but they're way too pricey. I suppose if you have to deal with all those yentas from Woodfield it should come at a price though. The problem I have is about 5-6 months ago there was a health department rumor that still resonates with me. Apparently they had a bad batch of greens that got roughly 30 customers really sick. I myself did not get food poisoning, but a close friend did. It was confirmed by the owner that he had some bad greens and was made sure that it would never happened again. I suppose that's really all you can do because until it happens, it's hard to ever know if your greens have high bacteria levels on them. So why just 3 stars? Well like I said it's not cheap. The wraps are big and I suppose you could split them if you were a 75 year old couple. $11-12 dollars is too rich for my blood and that's not including drink or tip either. The wraps are good but it's not the best wrap I've ever had. It's good, so what is good worth? The place is very clean and the staff seem really helpful but at the end of the day I just want to eat without feeling the burn in my pocket. If it's the best wrap I've ever had then I probably would have no problem shelling out the money. But it's not, it's just good and just good gets three stars with me, especially when I dropped $15 out the door for a soda and a wrap. read more

Vinny's is probably one of my favorite places to grab lunch whenever I visit my parents in Florida. I am OBSESSED with their Chicken Caesar wrap (I always get it in a spinach wrap). It is so good! I will sometimes get it with shrimp to change things up, but the classic chicken is by far my favorite. I also really like the Woodfield wrap, oriental salad and the sesame seared tuna salad. Sometimes, my mom will get a salad and I will get a wrap and we will split the two. This way, I get my Caesar wrap and get to try something else! There are always leftovers! I love how they chop the salads up, especially before putting them into wraps. The salads and wraps are HUGE and they come with chips! Vinny's also has smoothies, ice cream and Panini's. Ice cream is good if you want to treat yourself! I have not had the other items, but I know other people that have tried them and they only have good things to say. This place can get pretty packed, especially when the schools let out and during a lunch rush! Ingredients are super fresh and delicious! Staff is always helpful and friendly. read more
