Food and service were great. Workers were friendly and interior was clean. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant.

My husband and I decided to try the pizza in the restaurant instead of carry out. The last carry out the pizza wasn't too good. We sat at the bar and ordered the works. we finally received the pizza and it wasn't even hot and the onions and sausage and everything on top looked as if it was microwaved and thrown on top. I took a bit and was like no this is not acceptable. The lady that waited on us came back and I told her that and her comment was well how do you want it cooked? Welldone! REALLY LADY! This is a pizza restaurant not a steak house! So I asked for her manager and reordered the pizza cooked! While we waited I witnes another customer with a wrong pizza and watched it get thrown in the trash! What a joke For a pizza restauran! Of course we will never return! read more

I was very disappointed with this location recently as I intended on eating from the salad bar. I walked over and saw yellow wilted lettuce in both trays along with a very messy salad bar and a few items close to empty. ie: egg pieces in the tomatoes tray and dripped ranch dressing in another dressing tray. I decided an individual salad and the spaghetti with meatballs was enough. Which was tasty but not exactly steaming hot. I then sat down at the bar and waited for my food to arrive. After a while I asked one of the kitchen personnel if anyone checked the salad bar recently? The response was no. Within minutes and they were refilling items and cleaning up. Or so I thought. When I left 10 minutes later. The same wilted lettuce in both trays still sitting there. I'll be heading to Rockstar pizza next time I want a salad. Disgusting. You can draw your own opinion. Overall, you will get better pizza from Casey's Gas Station down the road, and personally, I will not return here ever again. If I could give zero stars I would. The breadsticks were rock hard as soon as they got to the table. No one ever asked about the food or if we needed one single thing, unsure if that's part of the 'order and pay at the front desk' charm.. but don't forget to tip! The pizza sauce was coming through the thin layer of cheese, and unlike the breadsticks, very doughy. Came here for a late lunch on Sunday. Service was quick and friendly. Sat in the bar and they were able to change the channel for me to watch the game I wanted. Unfortunately I dont have much good to say. The food quality is pretty mediocre at best and its not cheap. $35 + tip got me a very how-hum medium pizza with processed ingredients....along with a salad bar with the same processed ingredients...and an Iced Tea. The Iced Tea was easily the best thing I ordered. I decided to eat my food in their "for here" area which was amusing. Looks like it was originally designed to be some kind of sports bar atmosphere with a full bar and a ton of TV's. Well the bar was empty with no active bartender. Seemed like they were using the bartop as a space to store pizza boxes. Something happened that killed half of their TV sets....they have some kind of deep blue tint on them that makes the picture almost unviewable. The few tv's that worked were showing skateboarding on NFL Sunday. So - uh - I guess they aren't worried about catering to the sports crowd despite that being the obvious intention of the design. Ok then. My advice to mgmt - if you just want to sell mediocre takeout pizza then find a nice hole in the wall location with cheaper rent. If you are going to set up shop in such a premium sit-down place in the center of town then you need to do it right. Get better food - better ambiance - better entertainment. I must say that I am not a big fast food eater but when I go out, I do want good food and good service. Hear the service was great, we had a teenage girl that was very personable and accommodating. My issue with Noble Romans is the cost/value for your dollar. We spent $34 plus a $4 tip and all we got was one personal pizza and a 6 inch sub sandwich with potato chips and drinks. Pizza is pizza, so I don't have an issue with that, but my sausage sub sandwich was not good. These aren't sausage meatballs. These are tiny pieces of sausage that they would put on a pizza and there are nowhere near enough of them on a sub sandwich to make it worth the price. It was so underwhelming that we both laughed when it came out. It had been a long time since I've eaten at this restaurant and I probably won't ever again. read more

This place just gets sadder and sadder every time we come here. Today we stopped by for lunch and just the overall lack of cleanliness is disappointing. The people that work there don't even try to look interested in customers and the manager has the same aura. They've taken the drink off their lunch specials and the kid who took 2/4 orders didn't even bother to ask if they wanted a drink after ringing them up without one, his solution was to just give them cups but they had to buy separately next time. I'm very sad to write a poor review for this Noble Romans location. The service was good but that was one of very few things that was good for our visit. Noble Romans was a pizza experience staple in my childhood visits to see relatives in Indiana! My family and I loved Noble Romans! This location unfortunately is not what I remember from my childhood. My wife and I stopped to pick up 12 breadsticks and nacho cheese sauce. We also added 4 Sicilian sliders with pepperoni and marinara dipping sauce which we're on special for 5 bucks. We also got a sprite to drink. The breadsticks were not consistent in quality at all! Some were hard, some chewy, some really slender, some wider and longer, and some overcooked. The taste of the breadsticks is similar to what I remember but not as good. The nacho cheese is also very similar to what I remember and was good. The sliders are good but not worth the money for a little cheese and 1 pepperoni each. No sauce comes on the slider because you dip them in marinara. The biggest disappointment was the salad bar!! I use to love this salad bar as a kid! The salad bar use to have fresh romaine lettuce, shredded thicker cut cheddar cheese, sweet gherkins pickles, and house dressing! I was glad to see the French dressing but I'm not sure this is the same French from my childhood which was good. The salad was iceberg and looks nothing like the picture shown above the salad bar. We didn't order a salad bar because it was upsetting to see the condition of the salad bar. Unfortunately, I don't see a long future with this location of Noble Romans. I liked the open air kitchen and the dough room with glass that is viewable. The pizza makers use to put on a pizza making show for kids to watch through a glass window! I didn't try the pizza at this location but I plan on going to an original Noble Roman's on 10th street in Indy. We won't be visiting this location again unfortunately. read more

This was my 1st visit to NR in Brownsburg. I had received a buy one get one for joining their e club. I ordered on line and the process was quick and efficient. You can choose different crust types, different cheeses and sizes. I was surprised how quick the pizza was ready. The email mentions 15 minutes during the week and 20 plus on weekends. Our 2 large pizza's one a deep dish were probably ready in 15. It's a much bigger space inside than it looks from outside. You'll be able to view pizzas being made as soon as you walk-in. We ordered one large "Works" deep dish Sicilian and one thin crust Margherita. The 'Works was the bigger hit with plenty of ingredients ands crispy crust all around the edges. The Margherita was good but a bit bland. I would order or dine in again. Plenty of parking around back of the restaurant. read more

I can only comment on this particular wine & pizza pairing event. It's $20 for 4 tasting and 4 slices of pizza. The information was informative and the pizza was decent. Gave u a chance to sample some new pizza and different wines they have. First was The margarita pizza it was a flatbread paired with a Pinot Grigio the flatbread unfortunately was very thin and a little burnt ; the toppings were very scarce I personally would not get that on my own if I did I probably would've sent it back to the kitchen to bake me a new one :( second pizza was the chicken Alfredo with bacon, mushrooms and white sauce. again there was no chicken on mine or the table next to me again very skimpy on the toppings it was paired with a Chardonnay . The third pizza was a traditional crust loaded with toppings and was one of my favorites and the wine was a Chianti which actually was really really good and I was able to find it at a local store for only $10 so I will definitely be heading there to get it and finally the fourth pizza was their big daddy bbq paired with a Malbec it was also very tasty! it was loaded with toppings more like a Porky pig with a sweet BBQ sauce . to me it probably would it taste better with a spicy barbecue sauce but that's my personal opinion I did however love the Malbec wine but once I ate it with the pizza it almost took away the flavor so personally I would not pair those two together but again to each their own ;this was a great opportunity to pair each one of these pizzas with a different wine I will definitely go back for another event as well as to try some awesome pizza! read more

The pizza here is delicious and the beer was fresh and cold. However, the ordering process is chaotic and frustrating. Noble Roman's now has counter service only. The line can get pretty long, especially on a weekend night. Once we got to the front to place our order, the employee had a hard time hearing us because it's so loud in there. Not only does sound carry throughout the restaurant, but the very bustling kitchen is right next to the order counter. We had to repeat our order several times, even spelling "chorizo" because the employee couldn't hear us. That request was to put chorizo only on half of the Yucatan Sunset pizza, yet when it was delivered to our table, only 2 out of 8 pieces were chorizo-free. Maybe we came on a bad night, and we will continue to support Noble Roman's, but only with carryout orders going forward. read more

Haven't had Noble Romans since grade school and it was even better than I remembered.... Add in a wide open socially distanced patio, with perfect weather during a pandemic and you get 5 stars. We came at about 8:30 on a Thursday night. There were a few people sitting in the dining room but not many. We ordered our food and waited about 10-15 minutes for the breadsticks. The tasted a little burnt but still good. We got our pizza and wings. pizza was good, wings were decent but burnt. The staff seemed to be all teenagers, running in and out of the store. At around 9 we were the only people in the restaurant. The dining room was a dirty mess. Tables were not cleaned and trash was spilling on to the floor. Meanwhile the staff was talking very loudly instead of during their jobs. And when they did clean, they were eating pizza as they did it. When we were ready to leave, no one was to be found when we needed a box. When the guy finally came to the counter, he looked like he just got done smoking a joint. I was going to give the place only two stars, but they did give us free cookies at the end of the night. read more

This is our second time to this location. Sicilian pizza is just like what I grew up with at Noble Roman's. There is a salad bar, serve yourself fountain drinks and all the Noble Roman's full menu. CHAOS! I've seen that word used to describe this particular restaurant, and I have to say I agree with that assessment. The weird thing is, I live nearby, I walk my dog around Arbuckle Park fairly often, and sometimes the dog and I leave the park to walk by all the new restaurants and condos along Green Street, and I swear to God I've seen relaxed people dining outside, ordering from menus. My visit was very different. I was making pizza at home in my new pizza oven, it was my first time, and I have no problem saying that night I ruined dinner. Packed up my wife and kid, picked up my nephew, and the four of us headed to Noble Roman's. I guess I was expecting this place to be normal table service, and to your point I'd say that's fair, I did assume that - BUT - man, what a weird, chaotic experience. The short version is, imagine a Chipotle style restaurant experience, only with something family style like pizza. It just doesn't work. The four of us started in line, just sort of confused as to how life works at Noble Roman's, and OK here's a regular laminated restaurant style menu that the four of us can look at and decide on appetizers, pizza style, toppings, and drinks, all while also being herded to the the register where we place our order. The experience after that isn't any less chaotic. After you place your order you get your cups, you look around and locate the drink dispensers and you fill your drinks. You sit down, your apps start to come out and you don't have napkins, plates, or cutlery. Everything is like a gosh-dang Easter Egg hunt in this restaurant! All of the aforementioned, the list of necessary tools for eating food and wiping your face, they're sitting on one of those carts you see busboys utilizing to clean tables, and it's like nowhere near any of the other things I already had to search for. I will say that one of my favorite local pizza places in Indy, which out of fairness I will not name in this review, they utilize the same counter service style concept, only it works in their tiny restaurant because, well, it's a tiny restaurant, and the process is thoughtfully organized. You see the fountain drinks, and right next to it there's a big obvious set of plates, forks, red pepper, parm, and napkins. It all makes sense, you don't even have to think! Totally different experience at this Noble Roman's. Maybe it was a chaotic Monday night, maybe things are usually different, I couldn't tell you. I can just tell you my experience was crazy weird. With a host and a servers, this restaurant could work just fine. I mean, the staff was super nice and helpful, I suppose they could have been a little more communicative about the whole process, but again, that shouldn't even be necessary. I'm not the biggest Noble Roman's fan in the world, their pizza is good, it's just that my pizza loyalties lie elsewhere, but it was Noble Roman's as expected, not disappointed by that at all, which is why I feel good giving a generous 4-star review. Honestly it was probably a 2-star experience, but we left full. Full and confused, but full nonetheless. read more

This place has gone downhill in a major fashion. We've been here a few times in the past few months and both service and food was great. Visited on a Friday night and apparently they have converted to counter service only...no table service anymore. The premise of the location and decor is of a craft pizza pub, but it's become little more than an overpriced airport Sbarros. $50 for large pizza, two personal pizzas and bread sticks...most I've ever spent at a counter service place. And of course, the receipt had the tip line...for what might I ask? Taking my order behind a counter? Bread sticks were piled in a bin behind the counter in the open and scoped up into a paper boat on to our plastic tray...not made to order. Maybe the lack of table service was due to lack of employees? For every one employee who was hustling, there was at least one standing around doing nothing...I counted 15 total employees...more than the customers in the place at 6pm on a Friday night. Lack of salad bar due to COVID-19? Well, Two Guy's and Dave's in Danville have somehow figured that out and offer full salad bar. Bathroom was a mess. Pizza didn't taste as good as it did in the past. Restaurant was dirty. Not sure what happened to this place. Not going back anytime soon. read more

Not impressed at all. The service was probably the worst I have ever had at a restaurant. For starters, once we were seated we waited 15 minutes for a server to finally come (mind you it was not that busy). After she came we waited another 20 minutes to get our drinks. After drinks, food came 10 minutes later. As soon as they dropped the food off my husband asked for a root beer refill. It never came. He had to refill his drink 2 times himself during our 60+ minute stay. The server was never to be seen again. We had to ask the bartender for our check. As for the food. Meh. I got the grilled chicken caesar salad which was depressing to say the least and consisted of 3 measly pieces of rubbery chicken and was missing the eggs. My husband got The Works pizza and it was decent. All in all not worth the $40 we spent and we won't be back again. read more

They went to seat us and the two tables were both dirty from the night before. The amount of food and debris under the tables showed that they did clean on closing shift. My family and I were very eager to try this location as I have always been a big NR fan. I've legitimately tried this place five times and I'm done. It is constantly dirty. The employees stand around and talk instead of work. You might get your pizza in under 45 minutes on a slow night if you're lucky. The quality of the pizza gets worse with each visit. Although our waiter was nice, we sat for a long time without our drinks. It was a little hot inside since they sat us close to the kitchen area. We got our appetizer before we got our water. The pizza, however, was awesome and we loved the fact that we can get personal sized pizzas! And they are much bigger than the ones you get a pizza! Hut!
