I came in with my mom and daughter for Mother's Day, and it was amazing. My mom had the salmon, and I had the scallopini di pollo. The food was good. My daughter had the pizza marg pizza and it was delicious. The service was amazing, we sat in a beautiful table and got roses for Mother's Day. We enjoyed our dinning experience. Thank you.

My husband and I have been driving past Vinny's for years and for our Valentines dinner, he brought me here The ambiance is very romantic and it is a lot bigger than I expected. Perfect for Valentines dinner ! We got bread and Babaganoush to start. I would have preferred to have had butter instead of the babaganoush, since it was very heavy on the cumin and not my favorite. The entrees were yummy though! We didn't want to have pizza, and there were very limited vegetarian options on the menu. I got the veggie lasagna and my husband got an entree that was like a mushroom with pappardelle and a lemon butter sauce that he enjoyed. Our server was very kind and attentive! For desert we got this crispy crème brulle that did not look the best but definitely was delicious ! I would definitely come back here and try the pizza one day.

One restaurant in metro Atlanta region that I have been trying to visit since the Pandemic days for this place had some amazing reviews and especially to try their Pizzas. It was good but could have been a lot better. THE FOOD: I happened to visit this place at 5:30PM and to my surprise, they had an Evening Menu which is something in between their Lunch and Dinner which starts at 7 I guess. On top of that this Evening menu is very very extremely limited; it's not available on their website I guess. Literally couple of appetizers, 3-4 Entrees and 2 desserts. This was a shocker in every sense. And on top of that it had limited Vegetarian menu compared to their full range menu. We got the Margherita Flat bread and Calamari, and the flat bread just blew my mind. It was so delicious and cooked to perfection. Heard the Calamari was decent. It took some time to get our order though and by the time it was around 6:15 ish we thought we will get the Entrees and due to limited vegetarian options (literally 1 entree on the evening menu) I asked if I could get something like a Pasta or a different Pizza (instead of Margherita which I just had). Since it wasn't time for dinner, I went with White sauce pizza with Mushrooms. This was another amazing dish in my opinion. So delicious and different from the flat bread and was very well baked. While others had a different entree (I couldn't recollect the name), they seemed to be a bit happy with theirs. Then for the desserts we had Tiramisu and Chocolate cake, and Tiramisu was totally off in my opinion. The most bland dessert I have had and the coffee flavor & the cake didn't set well either. It just fell apart as I had my first bite. Disappointed though. SERVICE & AMBIENCE: Extremely well lit and very well designed restaurant from the exteriors to the interior. It was so pleasant and very different at the same time, more like having food in an Italian country side setting. It's a well spacious and laid out restaurant. The service was very good too. They were able to accommodate us at least with an Out of Evening menu item upon request. The staffs were friendly and knowledgeable as well. BOTTOMLINE: Looks to be a great place for some amazing delicious and fresh tasting food. The only or the big down side being the menu limitations and having extremely limited options for Vegetarians (No meat, no fish) option. Would probably visit for the exquisite Pizza. Desserts can be let alone. Would probably rate it a 3.5. MY PICKS FOR YOU: Mushroom (White) Pizza, Margherita flat bread pizza

Always great service and great food. Enjoyed the wonderful mussels and the delicious chicken parm this visit. The ambiance is another reason we enjoy coming here.

When you decide to have an impromptu lunch date with your hubby- Vinnys is the first place that comes to mind - Good food and perfect vibe . The open steak sandwich loaded with fresh veggies goodness and the chicken scalopini- both were great choices !

Breaking news! I think I found the BEST pizza in all of Atlanta! We stopped by Vinny's on Windward where I was in the mood for some pizza. I ordered the prosciutto pizza, which came with carmelized onions, spinach and white truffle oil. I'm including a picture. Chef's kiss on this, I promise! I started with a simple arugula salad, but the pizza took center stage. I paced myself, so I'd have an excuse to take home some leftovers. Reservations recommended on the weekend. This is a versatile spot; it's good for business meals, gift exchanges, large groups or an intimate date night. Enjoy!

We had a reservation for restaurant week, we sat at the bar which we love! We have been dining at Vinny's since its inception 27 years ago, that is why we chose this restaurant it was always a go to spot for us. The service was very good and the ambience is amazing as always! Lots of action! We enjoyed the carpaccio and artichoke hearts both were delicious. Sadly, our entrées were just meh. In fact, the veal Parmesan and fettuccine Alfredo was plain awful on like a frozen TV dinner. Thank heavens for dessert, which was the tiramisu and the brown butter cake, amazing! Our server took good care of us but it's time for the chef to rethink the menu.

The food was not delicious but it was good. Anytime I'm dining out I long for delicious. The service was good the waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable of the meal of the day...as well as the different selections on the menu. The ambience was great. Kind of chilly so carry a jacket but overall I would give this place a 7 out of 10.

Vinny's has continued to be our special date night spot in Alpharetta. The ambiance is unique- cozy, warm, rustic, inviting, and romantic. My favorites are the mushroom pizza, bolognese pasta, and the creme brulee- it is so thick and creamy, one of the best creme brulees I've had.

I won't return. Not sure how the stars are so high. We arrived with a large group and a few short for our table. The manager went back and forth about the reservation in our first 5 minutes of seating which was so unnecessary. Our team had to quickly redirect him with let's move on from this and just fix the problem. Any skilled person in the industry knows you don't go back and forth with a customer. The server suggested a red wine and the three of us that drank it wouldn't have ordered it. The second bottle-- it was better. My friend ordered a mule and decided after that to order a coke. In an atmosphere where the drinks could have been flowing this place left a lot to be desired. Food: I ordered the rack of lamb. I did not even finish my order it was not good and there was some sweet sauce that I do not recall the menu pointing out. No other flavor whatsoever but the sweet sauce. I know some enjoyed their food... I tasted the squid ink and the noodles were super spicy.. they were good but I felt they were cooked less than al denté but again good flavor. Dessert: I ordered the chocolate mouse.. it looked delicious but it was just okay.. I chose not to waste the calories on something that was just okay. I did taste the lemon tarte and that was pretty good. All in all, one and done for me.

    Seabass with risotto

All these years that this restaurant has been here, and I never tried it. Met a friend for dinner and enjoyed the seabass served over risotto. Waiter was ever present, but not intrusive. Shared tiramisu, which was okay.

Lots of options for those who love the fishery part of the concept and just as many choices for those that don't. We ordered the bruschetta and enjoyed their take that used fig jam, prosciutto and balsamic glaze instead of the more traditional tomato base. They have house made focaccia that when brought to the table we instantly regretted having ordered the bruschetta, thinking we overdid the bread thing. But we both quickly changed our minds and consumed both with little guilt... I would go back just for the focaccia alone and wish they sold it by the loaf! Pastas are made onsite but they get the gluten free version from a different supplier to avoid risk of cross contamination. Hubby had the wild boar pasta. I had the pork chop. My chop was perfectly grilled and moist. I asked for the marsala sauce on the side since I don't like mushrooms themselves, but enjoy the flavor they can add. The weakest link was the mashed potatoes, served in two round scoops reminiscent of school cafeteria lines. Other than the shape, there was nothing memorable nor particularly flavorful about them. Next time I would try a different side and keep the chop. We didn't save room for dessert this time but will definitely get some next time. And there will definitely be a next time. Moderate price point, not an everyday spot, but shouldn't be saved just for special occasions either.

The vibe here was buzzing on a Friday evening which seemed promising. We opted to sit at the bar which I do NOT recommend if you plan on eating. It is extremely tight seating and the bartenders aren't not trained to serve food or have menu knowledge. The lack of the kitchen staff culinary skills became evident when looking at the menu with many seafood/pasta items being served with one sauce- a goopy cornstarch'ish lemon butter sauce. We wanted to try the scampi appetizer with their house made pasta - sans dairy which meant no lemon butter sauce. That seemed to throw a wrench and there was much back and forth between the BT to the kitchen explaining what that meant aka do not cook the food with butter use olive oil- not so complicated, right? 30 minutes later - despite the kitchen staff not being busy- reminder, we are sitting at the bar and watch the cooks looking at their cellphones instead of working... The small portion of a couple shrimp and scallops arrive. They were panned seared- highly seasoned but tasty. Pasta arrived dry ? Huh? Who serves dry pasta- ugh? I asked for olive oil again which never appeared despite a manager hearing the request. So, moving along, we decided to try the calamari. It came out much faster but the portion was enough for 8-10 people. BT- oh, I forgot to tell you it is such a large portion... Maybe offer a half portion? It was okay- nothing amazing except the quantity. So disappointed- we had high hopes that the vibe matched the food quality.

Dude, it's a yes or no question: 'yes, we have a filter for it,' or 'no ma'am, it comes from the tap.' Throughout the service we could tell he was not being attentive or personable, if we said anything off script he didn't know how to react. We ordered the house salad because of how it was described, but when it arrives, we were shocked at the presentation and quality. We told the server about the disappointment of having only four slices of radish on the salad when it was listed as a main ingredient and he did nothing to remedy that. The chef could also consider mixing all of the ingredients together so it is a harmonious marriage of salad, not just arugula with a sprinkle of pine nuts, drizzle of dressing, FOUR radishes and a handful of pre shredded, from the bag Parmesan. The least you could do is hand grate it. Now to the pizza- they are very large and the crust has nice flavor and a good crunch. The Bianca sauce was very heavy and greasy; tasted like it came out of a jar. That was our least favorite item by far. The bbq chicken was decent, however the Gouda cheese they used had a very cow aftertaste, and there were cubes of the cheese all around, which were rubbery and not good to chew. We couldn't tell if the sharp tang came from the tip of bbq sauce they used or some cleaner leftover on the chicken. It's sad, because Crust came recommended highly to us and we were excited to try it out. Overall, our meal was very disagreeable and we will not be back.

But this experience was genuinely special. From the service to the food to the atmosphere, everything exceeded expectations. Despite a packed dining room, the staff delivered a level of attentiveness that felt effortless. Our server had an incredible command of the menu, rattling off a lengthy list of specials from memory with impressive detail. The entire team worked in sync--bringing bread, refilling drinks, offering fresh grated cheese, clearing plates without rushing us, and striking just the right balance of friendliness and professionalism. What really set the evening apart were the personal touches. The matriarch of the restaurant (or at least who I assume was the matriarch) circulated through the dining room making sure guests were enjoying themselves. At one point she proudly announced that the osso buco was ready--a charming moment that felt less like a sales pitch and more like someone sharing something they genuinely loved. Before we left, she gave my wife and daughter sunflowers from her garden, carefully prepared with the leaves removed and stems wrapped in foil. Then she sent us home with fresh zucchini. Along with everything else, these folks have figured out how to make dining personal. It felt less like eating in a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's lovely home--where there is genuine pride and gratitude that you've joined them for dinner. That's a rare feeling today, and Casa Nuova delivers it naturally. And then there's the food. The Oysters Rockefeller were outstanding. The fried mozzarella was exceptional. The Pesce Fra Diavola--with clams, mussels, calamari, and scallops--was perfectly prepared and served in a sauce that complemented rather than overwhelmed the seafood. The veal scallopini was tender, beautifully seasoned, and expertly sauced. Even our daughter's simple pasta dish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Honestly, I'm almost afraid to go back because I don't know how they could possibly do better. Casa Nuova delivered one of the most memorable restaurant experiences I've had in a very long time. My sincere thanks to everyone at Casa Nuova for such a lovely evening. You made my wife, daughter, and me feel genuinely welcome, and we left with full stomachs, smiles on our faces, and an experience we'll remember for a long time.
