Ordered an eggplant parm hero, an eggplant parm w/spaghetti and marinara sauce, garlic knots, shells with ricotta and sauce. I also ordered 2 spinach wheels when I picked up my order. My mil(mother-in-law) enjoyed the shells with ricotta and sauce. My husband liked the eggplant parm hero. Unfortunately the cheese and some of the eggplant on the eggplant parm were burnt so most of the cheese and some of the eggplant couldn't be eaten. The crust is thin, has a great smokey taste, and has the satisfying crunch. The crust is easily the best part of the pizza. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy either which is awesome. Inexpensive, easy, clean, good NY style pizza with liberal amount of toppings. I noted that the menu offered many choices, from gluten free to vegan and everything in between. Unusual for a small spot to accommodate so many dietary choices. All the toppings looked very fresh. Crust was tender, crunchy, and light. Definitely a good choice if you are in the neighborhood and need a quick lunch or snack. Although it's small, there was plenty of seating inside as I think it's probably mostly a take-out joint. Foods really good here the Vegetable Pizza Slice is very good! I like the slice is thin so not that many gluten and carbs. The garlic knots had a crispy crust just the way I like and the garlic oil was soo good. I ordered the meatball spaghetti pasta. The pasta sauce and the spaghetti is really good. Good but not great New York style pizza. This place has been around awhile and their sauce to cheese to crust ratio is perfectly fine. The slices are not that big but not small either. However, there are simply other pizzerias in Queens with much better tasting and flavorful cheese and tomato sauce. read more

My first order with them was horrendous. Like I really never wanted to order again. If I was truly despicable, I would have told them on the phone. BUT. They did make pretty good sandwiches. Not perfect. Not great. But good. I ordered again and they did not mess up the order. Great. What I did learn; you can't expect a monkey to do your taxes for you. Let it do the simple things. Decided to order from Vinny's today. Ordered 2 plain slices, 1 mushroom slice and 1 pan slice. Also ordered chicken tenders and Zeppoles. Everything except for zeppoles was cold. I just got a pizza from there and even though I live across the street from them it was delivered practically cold. To add insult to this there was barely any cheese on it. It's a pepperoni pizza and when you peel off the pepperoni you get to the bare pizza. I thought that it looked a little too red to have enough cheese and yeah, I was right. The sad part is that I was so hungry that if they did more than just the bare minimum I would have felt that this was the best pizza I had ever tasted. Dont waste your money! Its very hard to find an authentic Italian pizza these day and with a name like Vinny's Pizza- you'd think the pizza would be phenomenal. I was very disappointed. The dough itself was extremely thick. Thicker than usual. It felt like i was eating a biscuit with cheap cheese and sauce on it. Actually, the dough absorbed all of the sauce so it tasted like I was only eating biscuit and mozzarella cheese. Very bland, very disgusting. Complete waste of time and money. They commonly make mistakes with the total of your order or in giving you change. I can understand it happening once, but not nearly every time. Unfortunately, this is the only real pizzeria in the area. Also, charging $4.00 for a 2 Liter soda is ridiculous. While I'm all for businesses making a profit, there has to be limits. Lastly, many times I walk in and I see workers by the food without masks on. Who knows how it is in the kitchen. Reason I won't order any of their pastas or sandwiches. This is THE pizzeria for Lefrak. There's about 6 booths in here, and they're always not empty, but there's always somewhere to sit. The pies are always made fast, to order. Slices are good too. Had a regular slice and pepperoni rolls and they were pretty good! Same customers, seems that people have been staying loyal to Vinny's. It is Lefrak's pizzeria after all. They removed the tables? So what happened with that? I guess they're trying to have less people sitting in and more people taking out.
