    Vino's Special
    Shawn P.

Very solid pizza spot. Ordered a pie for the family so we could take a break from Holiday leftovers. A retro, pizza-pub style local bar, vino's is serving up some top tier pizza. We went with the Vino's special and were not disappointed. Pizza was ready in a flash and the pie was still piping hot when I got it home. Not a Chicago or New York pie, but in a classic of their own. We loved the sausage and the crust on their pizza. Will be back for more indeed!

Vino's is a Little Rock institution serving up delicious pies, salads and calzones along with a yummy beer selection. This trip I had a garden salad with their famous dressing and washed it down with their house made root beer. A must try. The place hasn't changed since they first opened and my sentimental heart loves it still. Great service and a good time.

Definitely a brewpub with a distinct vibe -- darker bar lighting, lots of punk decor, and loud music to match. Just like other reviews mentioned, it leans heavily into that punk aesthetic, so if that's not your thing, it's worth noting. The pizza dough was really solid, and the cheese was consistent and tasty. Staff were chill and matched the overall atmosphere. I tried the root beer -- sounded interesting, but honestly wasn't that good. Free refills were a nice touch, though. Very specific energy, but everything felt true to the kind of place it is.

I loved this place when I lived here, and I was happy to see it was still making great pizzas. I love the location, and I hope the crappy parking lot never is fixed.

During my business trip, the locals boasted about their pizza, claiming it was far superior to New York's. Coming from New York, I was skeptical--there was no way Little Rock could have good pizza. However, I was mistaken; Vino's exceeded all expectations. The pizza was cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with a cold draft. I'll definitely be back!

I was recommended vino's from several people in the area for some pizza. When I arrived, it's definitely a place that is different...it has a cool dive bar feel to it which I did enjoy. My friends and I tried a couple different pizzas. One which was the chicken BLT and the other which was vino's special. Honestly, the chicken BLT isn't worth mentioning and I would not recommend, however, the Vino's special was pretty good topped with several meats and toppings, close to a supreme style. I did not enjoy the pizza crust overall. The pizzas were very mediocre in my opinion. I did attach some photos of the pizzas in this post, but due to the lighting it was hard to capture the actual look of the pizza. I had a side of ranch with the pizza... the ranch was not house made and was not worth dipping the pizza in. Service: 7/10 Cleanliness: 6/10 Food: 5/10 Ranch: 3/10

Tasty Pizza and good beer with a cool, relaxed vibe. I loved the punk rock soundtrack playing in the background. Made me feel like I was in Athens, Georgia in the late 80's again.

Quirky lil dive in pizza joint. Love the pizza! Great crust just as I like it thin and crispy. Huge NY slices and just enough toppings! Been going here for a years but since Covid hadn't visited. Vino's still has Great sauce! I thought they lost their touch but no way! Pizza was amazing!!

Very much a hole in the wall! But great calzones! And you can't go wrong with any beer here, my favorite is firehouse ale.

Best calzone in Arkansas. Their beer is good, not great (except the christmas beer, which is fantastic). The pizza slices are good too.

My wife and…read moreI came in on a Friday afternoon, we loved the beers so much that we grabbed 3 6-packs on the way out. Happy hours included half price pints and some really good bar snacks... I would recommend the sampler that came with onion rings, cheese fries, chicken bites (get the dry rub!), and egg roll boudin. This place is so secure in the quality of the beer that they offer that our bartender actually recommended that we go to another place to compare: Moody Brews a couple of miles south. We decided to stay for a while and sample the beers at this place instead, playing rummy and watching a bowl game on TV. A perfect spot for all of that!!

Stopped into Flyway Brewing on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised by how quiet it was. The…read morerestaurant was clean, comfortable, and had the music at exactly the right volume present enough to create atmosphere without making conversation difficult. Nothing felt overwhelming or overdone, which made for a relaxed experience. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Water hit the table in under two minutes, and our beers arrived in less than five. That's the kind of efficiency every restaurant should strive for. Now for the food: * Cheese Curds ($8) - These arrived piping hot and fresh from the fryer. The curds themselves were crispy but fairly bland on their own. The ranch and Mimi's Red Sauce did a lot of the heavy lifting here and elevated the dish significantly. * Queso ($8, plus $2 for chorizo) - Very basic. Not bad, but not memorable either. It tasted like melted Velveeta with a little extra liquid mixed in. Perfectly edible, just lacking any standout flavor. * Pretzel ($6) - Easily one of the highlights of the meal. They accidentally brought us the espresso pretzel first before correcting it with the plain version we ordered. Surprisingly, both were excellent. Soft, fresh, and flavorful. * Smash Burger & Fries ($17) - The fries were fantastic: hot, crispy, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. The burger itself was average--exactly what you'd expect from a mid-range brewery restaurant. Good, but not something I'd specifically come back for. * Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries ($15) - The low point of the meal. The sweet potato fries were cold, stale, and honestly should never have left the kitchen. The chicken sandwich wasn't much better. The breading was overcooked to the point of tasting burnt, and there wasn't much flavor beyond that. * Bacon-Wrapped Quail Sliders - Another average offering. Not bad by any means, but nothing that stood out or justified ordering again. The beer is clearly the star of the show here. Flyway knows how to brew, and that's what would bring me back. The food ranges from good to disappointing, with only a few items really standing out. Overall: * Beer: 4/5 * Food: 2/5 * Service: 5/5 Flyway Brewing is worth visiting for the beer, atmosphere, and service. Eat because you're there, not because you're searching for an exceptional meal. If the kitchen can become as consistent as the brewery, this place could be something special.

While the atmosphere was less than lively at 2 PM on a Wednesday, I could see this would be a great evening spot out with your friends. We kicked off with the potato wedges and OMG they were so good and the dipping sauces were so unusual, it was the perfect appetizer as we sat down starving. I had the.Peace Out bowl with grilled chicken and loved all the textures. Could've done without the pickled carrots in the bowl, that was a weird addition. Maybe would've been better as aside. My friend had the Al Pastor tacos and we enjoyed them both. Service was steady and efficient. I look forward to trying it again maybe having a cocktail or beer on my next visit.

The birria is my go-too every where I go, tortilla, cheese, meat ratio was great, I'd even say they were very generous with meat, which I appreciated (and that's rare). The consommé was lacking, which unfortunately can make or break this dish. I perceived it was watered down to go further? Not sure, but the meat barely had the flavor as well, so not sure if this was an isolated batch issue, or just the original recipe. I could absolutely tell, the base flavor would have been good, it just reallllly needed to be more concentrated. Meat was cooked perfectly though. Rice was on point too, as a side... (and a lot of places screw up rice). I love this brand, and frequent their other establishment, so had high hopes. Recommendation for kids menu... the butter noodles... coming from a mom of several, add salt and parsley to it. Gives it a little ZIP! You had potato wedges on menu as well, maybe offer it "plain" for kids, with ketchup. I do realize it's a taco place, but parents look at kid menus before coming. When all else fails for kids, "French fries" usually work. Oh!! We sat on patio, could smell the dumpsters, if you could move them, that would be a great change. Especially in the summer heat.
