Driving by we had to stop since the outdoor set up is very cool. Prices are ridiculous. A pair of "vintage" Steve Madden boots were $185. The store is very dusty and smells like rat pee. You can tell some items haven't been touched in a while (dust). A lot of the items are not vintage and are vintage inspired OR leather items you can find in Mexico today. My friend asked how much a shot glass was, the woman working said $15. When we went to pay, she called someone to double check it was $15.... Don't give us a price if you're unsure. We aren't going to pay more if you already gave us a price. Overall a cool shop from the outside, but that's it. read more

I love coming down here. I've bought several vintage items on great condition. This is a family owned business the they treat their customers with a lot of respect and appreciation. They have an amazing selection but i just went to buy two pairs of perfectly fitting jeans - both damaged- but both discounted from $185. One was $100 and one was $150.... And when i got to the register she pulled the tags off and said someone must have changed the tags so they are both $185 now..... so i left. I was there last week and tried on the same pair for $100 and went back today to get them.... And they were marked the same. I tried on a few others for $130, $150, but most are $185. But to try to change the price from what's on the tags just as i am trying to pay for them... i had to leave empty handed. If they were marked $185 I'd have had no problem paying $185. This place definitely has cool stuff, but the prices are ABSURD. Not just kind of high -absurd. I encourage anyone shopping here to try this little test - when you find something you like look up that item on Poshmark. If you find it on there, which in most cases you'll be able to it will be about 1/4 of the price every time I live super close by and I would shop here all the time if they got more realistic with their prices, I don't know what they are thinking. There was a T-shirt that I liked and was ready to buy, but looked at the tag and it was $185. I ended up getting the same exact one on Poshmark for $30. The prices are so absurd here it almost felt like a joke read more

They sure have an impressive selection of vintage jackets and other misc Vtg. Lots of Western theme stuff and Elvis stuff. Lots of vintage tees. Pricey stuff though. For what it is. I did not see vintage dresses or dressy stuff, it's mostly casual but fun. Found a killer one piece jumpsuit there. It was a bit overpriced for me so I have not gotten it but for the quality of the piece and how it made me feel, I'll go back soon hopefully to get it if it's there. read more

Walked in and was immediately ignored- the woman behind the register was having a conversation on speakerphone and did not even look up. She then proceeded to call her sister, also on speakerphone. We weren't acknowledged until both of her conversations were over. Keep in mind that there was no one else in the store at the time. I was looking for a pair of vintage cowboy boots on my trip and literally was looking high and low. There must be over 200 cowboy boots in this place, all amazing all beautiful. The owner was so sweet and knew the store like the back of her hand. It was like walking into a museum. I ended up buying a hand bound leather cowboy hat, a one of its kind, and a pair of white alligator boots. They'll be staying in my collection for a very long time. This is by far the best Vintage store I've been to in Los Angeles. The selection is outstanding. Found a killer pair of real, military issues camouflage pants that are amazing. Beautiful leather jackets. Stacks of cut off Levi shorts. Great custom made flanels with rock concert tee-shirts sewed together. So many killer cowboy boots and wonderful belts. Before I knew about Vintage Dirty Laundry, I got most of my vintage clothing from Granny Takes a Trip or local thrift stores. I found them somewhat by accident when I was wandering around the Roadium two years ago and Mallory and her mom were operating a stall there. And while I will always love Granny Takes a Trip, I've pretty much exclusively shopped here for the past two years solely because this is legit my favorite clothing store in the South Bay Area. When they had their soft opening (I think last year? Quarantine has ruined my perception of time) we showed up to it because they're genuinely the best vintage shop you're going to find. Like ever. I've even braved the Rose Bowl Market to support them despite having near-debilitating anxiety in large crowds because they're that great. Whatever place you went to before--trust me, this will be your new place now. It's a family owned small business and is ran by Mallory and her mother--if that first paragraph didn't sell you, that sentence alone should. On top of that, they're legitimately some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life and are in no small part why I will constantly and effusively sing this store's praises. But what makes them special is how much they believe in the brand and love what they do--like seriously, when it comes to vintage clothing Mallory absolutely knows her stuff. She could write a vintage clothing and style Bible and I would buy it. Everything she has is both stylish and one of a kind, ranging from vintage Harley Davidson shirts, to coats dating back to the 1970s, to an incredible variety of cowboy boots. And this isn't even getting into their impressive collection of vintage Levi's and cutoffs. One of my favorite pair of shorts I've ever owned in my life are a pair of vintage Levi's redlines cutoffs (super rare btw, only made by Cone Mills in the 1960s) that I got from here. And their pricing is amazing for the quality and for the range of stuff they have. They also hold pop up shops the second Saturday of every month to boost small businesses, which is more crucial now than ever as we try to rebuild after COVID. They're also body-inclusive which is a huge deal, especially in vintage circles where that's not necessarily common. I'm plus-sized (US14) and I have no trouble finding clothing that not only fits me, but fits me well. So if you really want to help local businesses grow, or if you just want to grab a cool Harley Davidson shirt and some old school Levi's, I cannot stress this enough, shop here. Okay soooo this has got to be one of my favorite vintage shops I've ever been to. They have a huge variety for women, men, and children and all of their pieces are exactly what I was looking for! I came here after finding them on Instagram @Vintage_Dirty_Laundry. I was looking for a pair of new vintage jeans and ended up leaving with the perfect pair of mom jeans, a super cute fringe leather jacket, and a classic YSL t-shirt. This place was a life saver!! Especially since it' the only vintage store in the South Bay, it saved me a trip to LA. The owner Mallory was super helpful and was also able distress the jeans I bought! I agree with an earlier review. I was barely greeted and like mentioned before unless you're trying to be on Instagram or white I felt extremely uncomfortable. i worked in retail for nearly four years, so i know how easy it is to provide adequate customer service in a lowkey boutique such as this. but the women working here don't seem interested in that whatsoever. i wasn't greeted when i entered. my arms were full of items to try on and they did not offer me a fitting room - i had to ask and the woman didn't even look up from her phone. nor did they even ask me if i needed help for the entire 15-20 mins i was in the store. they only seemed to be interested in helping the wh*te customers and posting tiktoks/instagrams of them. also, if you are plus-sized at all, their inventory is incredibly lacking. unless you want to wear a giant (overpriced) unisex tee, all their cuter, customized/altered pieces are incredibly small. even their fast-fashion-ish section had almost entirely xs-m. that's just disappointing. as much as i would love to support a local, female-owned business, if they aren't even going to treat all their customers with equal respect, i'll happily spend my money elsewhere. read more

One of the most hidden gems in Redondo! I love the fact that this is a Minority woman owned business. They way they gave the building a facelift brings value to the city and charter. I love when I drive by and see the cute vintage outfits on the manikins. When walking in I truly didn't know what to expect but was amazed! The layout/ flow of the shop if very welcoming and easy on the eye. It's the small details that matter to me and I can see all the hard work and effort into this business. I was greeted by a young lady who was super friendly, very responsive, an overall doll. She even suggested a few things I wouldn't normally pick but boy oh boy did it look so good on me! She for sure has an eye for good style. They have a large selection of true Authentic vintage clothing. Being a plus size guy I always feel uncomfortable shopping for clothing in public places but they have a great selection and offer fitting rooms! I love how I was asked if I was comfortable to take a photo in the outfit for their social media. It made me feel like a model and way more comfortable in my skin. This place is a must go to.
