Not only is everything quality, but you can find things at this store that you can't find darn near anyplace else. Aside from home goods, they have a huge selection of global food and drinks, including one of the most diverse candy sections around. After coming here for so long you'd think I know everything about this store, but a few weeks ago I learned something new and really valuable. Every department has a clearance section!!! YES!!!! Every department! There's clearance for candles, body wash, men's fragrances, kitchen wares, food and drink, furniture, everything! They also mark down anything from a recent holiday, up to 90% off!! Come on, in this economy who doesn't love a deal? If you can't find one of the clearance sections, just ask someone. All of the employees are so nice and helpful. My favorite clearance areas are the 33% and 55% off food racks located at the back of the store. They are loaded with yummy food - like salami, pasta, gnocchi, baked goods, sodas, coffee, tea, chips, candy - and everything is heavily discounted. A lot of the items have been discontinued, so this is the last chance to buy them. It's the first place I head when I walk in. I've left before with a full grocery bag for less than $8. The next time you find yourself in or near Bridgepoint Shopping Center...GO! Make sure to seek out all of the discounted items. You won't regret it!

There was hardly a line at the checkout counter and ample employees providing fast and friendly service. I even got a complimentary holiday tote for being a rewards member. That came in handy for carrying all the goodies I got.

Couple of months ago, I ordered a custom shelf project scheduled for my mom's sewing/art room. On…read morethe day of installation, the installer informed me that the measurements were incorrect and dropped off all the shelving parts into the room, taking up the entire space and making the room unusable. We were told they would communicate with our project manager to get the correct parts. It's been a week now, and I still haven't received any ETA or update on when the new parts will be delivered. I've been told by our project manager that her manager will be reaching out to me with an update days ago, and have not heard from him/her. The lack of communication and clarity is very frustrating. Strongly advise against their custom shelving unless you have flexibility to have the room unavailable if measurements are inaccurate. I will say the store manager, April, has been very nice to work with and have no problems with the store overall, but it seems the custom shelving is a completely different department and have had no luck communicating with that department.

Definitely going home with me! I also saw a Pendleton sweater, appropriate for the cold weather. Lina said they also carry the famous Pendleton wool blankets but they had not arrived as yet. I'll look forward to the Pendleton blankets. Among the small selection of mostly Japanese tableware I spied a blue & white square porcelain jar that seemed to be missing a top. I kept going back to it and finally added that to my purchases. It kept calling to me. It could be used as a writing instrument or brush holder, or Even as a small vase yo fill with some bright posies to brighten a tabletop or desk. BHL also had a nice selection of plush, thick, warm bathrobes, along side the select bed linens. My husband and I then spent two years working from home together in our front room (we call it the study now) without any rhyme or reason, just putting our desks wherever they fit, because it all happened so quickly. It was awkward and ugly, cords and monitors everywhere, and not a great look for people walking in our front door. The whole time, I was thinking, "when this is done and at least one of us goes back to the office, I want to make this room into a nice space to read and relax, and also to WFH when I have to." That's where Kanika comes in. I tried changing the place up on my own, but every choice I made seemed to make my space uglier and more awkward. It was time to hire a professional. That decision was worth every penny. In the end, my project turned out to be slightly bigger than just one room. I enlisted Kanika's help in choosing flooring, baseboards and paint for the whole house, furniture for my entire downstairs (we were still using the old living room furniture left by the previous owners), and light fixtures throughout. She was easy to work with and understood immediately what I was going for. My study is a real showstopper now - the walls are this deep blue color that looks amazing, she designed a gorgeous custom bookshelf that makes perfect use of the space, and she picked a couch that is the perfect size, just the right color, and so comfortable. And we still managed to get a desk in there for those WFH days. Literally just the other day, I was on a Zoom with someone and thought "this room behind me is so pretty, it looks like a fake background." But it's real, and in my house! And it wouldn't have happened without Kanika. The paint color she helped me pick for my bedroom is something I never would have chosen on my own, but I still regularly think about how nice it looks whenever I go in there. Same with the color of the living room couch, I'd never have found it on my own, but now that I have it, I love it. She knows her stuff. Kanika's husband Adi runs the business side of things. He managed the project, hiring contractors and keeping everything on schedule. The work was done on time, and he kept us in the loop, patiently answering any concerns or questions. And, no shenanigans with the final cost. Really, hiring Kanika Design was a great decision for us.

We knew exactly what we wanted and knew the store was closing soon so my husband got the flat bed cart thing and carried our one year old straight to the back corner with my son following behind him. They left me in the dust because I am heavily pregnant and was waddling. Every store employee we passed told me "we're closing soon" so when I saw my husband up ahead walk past a worker and the worker look back at him, turn course, and begin to follow my husband I thought "we better hurry up" this guy is going to tell us they're closing soon but nope! He was soo nice! Asked us if we had questions, helped my husband load our flat bed cart because we were getting twelve boxes of 12x36 tile, got a forklift to pull out the boxes in the back and walked us to where the grout that was in display is located. I have gotten two arrangements for my beloved, both of which were received with bliss. That sounds corny, doesn't it? Well, that's my fault, not the flowers. Ok, now the shop. This shop is so well-appointed with a wide variety of reasonably-priced and unique items, it is always difficult for me to NOT buy the entire store. Seriously. I could find a nook or cranny in my home for this entire shop, and would be thrilled to do just that. But I dig up some restraint and limit myself to a few choice items. Last time I picked up a huge mirror star that is now hanging proudly in my living room. I also got some darling Halloween items there, so I highly recommend checking out Apt 46 during any special holiday. Oh wow, the chocolate-pumpkin malt balls!!! HEAVEN!!!
