Stopped in here one night while traveling for a conference. The atmosphere is super cozy and dim. It's exactly what I hope for in a wine bar's atmosphere. Would be great for a romantic date. Service was excellent. Very friendly, helpful, and quick. Pleasant conversation with the bartender. The wine was also very good, best glasses of wine I've had in a while. Each one was flavorful but different from each other. I liked this place so much I came back the next night with a friend. The following night I had their orange wine, which was also really really good. Highly recommend.

I visited Vintage Wine Bar for some wine on Sunday afternoon and had a very nice time. I had about an hour to kill between a play and dinner. Their wine list was so great I couldn't choose, so I went with one of their flights - Interesting Whites (Tokaj Furmint, Friuli Grave, and Langhe Arneis). The flight was aptly named; the wines were interesting and delicious - a rare combination of white wines in a flight. They offer a great selection of wines (traditional to natural wines, including some skin contact options), but they also have beer and cocktails for anyone in your party that prefers something other than wine. The bar is beautiful - moody, dark, lots of wood, a long bar, several small tables - it's a perfect little wine bar. And the service was great as well. (I didn't eat on this occasion, but they have a full menu of food, and the food ordered by the table behind me smelled great.) I look forward to returning to try more of their wines!

I have been here 4 times in a month because I take all of my friends here. The server was so kind the last time I tipped my wine and replaced it at no extra cost. The wine was amazing as always and the cheese board is solid. Always good vibes. Still my favorite Philly wine bar

This is my new Tuesday night home. Well, I've come at other times, but Tuesday $28 Sangria pitchers special has won me over. In addition, the music, the service, and overall atmosphere makes this the perfect spot to have a chill evening with friends, potentially a nice date, or even a solo outing. I've never had a bad experience here whether it's been for an event or just a regular night out on the town. I love it here!

Great ambiance. Lots of great wine selections. Also lots of good food options. You can go for either an entree or maybe choose to get a few appetizers and make them your meal. Or do a bit of both. Great service as well.

The food was hot and fresh, on point flavors, and great staff. The ambiance was dark and romantic with tea lights.

Great service and easy to get a table on a Friday night. Nothing fancy but good selection of food and wines

Experiencing Vintage Wine Bar on a still peaceful evening was beautiful. I've been a time or two before over the summer but recently, it was remarkable. I started at the bar, great wine variety and much to choose from. I later moved to a table, a high-top up against the wall and had a great time. Very spacious walk way areas for others to pass by and the service from both the bar and my server were outstanding! The burger was very filling, and I had more than enough to take home. I was hoping for more of a spice or bold seasoning but overall it was great and I was not disappointed. I'm looking forward to another visit!

Best for wine flights and their half off bottles. Alternating reds and whites which is always fun. Their food is subpar, but okay for a few bites. Would recommend for happy hour or a good wine tasting

Food was great. We got the feta dip, mussels, Brussels and steak. Highly recco the steak! The one down side is that our server was not too knowledgeable about wine - It's a wine bar and that should be expected. Along with really good wine.

La Cachette wine, crème brûlée, and a comforting atmosphere.

Seating for three of us was graciously accommodated for us after the theatre. The food was definitely good enough to go back for another visit. Candles on the tables gets me every time.

Lobster roll with caviar. It just doesn't get better than that. And the wine was phenomenal.

This swanky, hip place…read moreoffers up elevated tasty food and superb service in an exquisitely decorated, albeit small, cafe. We braved negative degree weather for the roughly 10 minute walk from our hotel. We walked in at a good time. This is the type of place where a reservation for breakfast would be required. We were sat immediately. The dining area is tight. A green velvet bench, marble tables, metal chairs, all packed into a small area. You could very well have your butt brush over the table of the patrons next to you if you have to get up for any reason. It's tight. Our server was around quickly. He was super friendly and kept things conversational, light and sophisticated. My wife ordered an iced latte, I had their hot drip coffee. For a starter, we had to try the cinnamon knot bread. While it wasn't what we were expecting, it was good. Although, we wouldn't order again. The bread is presented as a small loaf, room temperature with a cold cream cheese icing drizzled over top. The bread had a mild cinnamon flavor and was dry. It lacked the sweet, moist dough you expect from a cinnamon bread. My wife ordered the French style omelet. This had gruyere cheese and chives. Beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and the taste was spot on. It was good enough to forget that she paid $21 for just an omelet, no meat, no sides. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Pretty standard here. The eggs had bright orange yolks which is common for farm fresh eggs. The "coffee" hollandaise didn't come across with a coffee flavor but it was rich and went well with the ham and English muffins. One thing that stuck with me was their drip coffee. Not sure if it has been a while since I had a light roast but the Rival Bros. Revolver coffee was so good, I got a bag of whole beans to bring back home with me. I may even order it again online. Enswell succeeded on all fronts. The ambiance and service was great. The decor, impeccable. The food, thoughtful and tasty. The details from the silverware to the plates added to the experience. We would come back.

This place is great for large parties as you can order individually at the counter, and it's seat yourself. As I mentioned, it was my birthday and the employees working really made me feel spacial. They were so sweet the entire time we were there, and they were on top of everything the entire time. They even gave me a free glass of wine!! The food was lovely, and I'd know since we ordered everything off the HH food menu. Even though some of the items I didn't like, I could still tell the quality of the ingredients. The focaccia and polenta fries were my favorites!! They reasons this isn't a perfect five for me is because the HH menu is pretty limited. Also, I've tried to come to Alimentary before, and it just didn't work out. As in the restaurant wasn't available to the public due to a private party. Also, it's quite literally just an hour long and only runs during the week.
