I contacted Vinyl Concepts because our entire fence surrounding our property was damaged and down due to the winds in January. I'll start off by saying in the beginning I was really frustrated due to the 6-8 week backlog of jobs they had. I almost went with another company because we needed a fence up as soon as possible due to all of our neighbors having dogs and needing the backyard space. Chris was our sales rep. He was very nice and did a good job of explaining what would be needed to be done. After taking the measurements he told me someone would be out for the final measurements as we got closer to our end date. A few weeks later someone contacted me with a date for final measurements which was about a month out. The day came for final measurements and I was told it would be another month or two before they could start my fence. I requested they move it up to as soon as possible and they told me they'd try there best. They were able to move it up a week but I asked if they have an sooner openings to please call me. As we approached the date of install I called a few days prior to make sure it was scheduled and we were good to go. The scheduling department told me they could be out the next day which was 5 days earlier. I happily agreed. The reason I'm giving an5 star review is because Peter and the install crew did a great job. They were courteous to me and my neighbors and worked all day. They even came in on a Saturday to finish the job. They clearly communicated with us what they were doing. While there was a few hiccups they fixed any issues we had or offered a solution. My only recommendation if you use them is to clearly mark sprinklers as a few broke during install but that's fine. Recommendation to management: work on communication I was often the middle man to the neighbors and a few of them weren't contacted on when install was happening. read more

Hallelujah! I had no idea we were going to be this happy!! First of all, Core Jurado is amazing. He showed up on time with a wonderfully helpful attitude. He answered questions and provided information about the durability of the product. He took measurements, showed pictures and provided us with a quote within 1 day. Yes, I said it here. 1 day. (This was the 4th quote we received and by far the most professional and prompt responses.) The price was very very reasonable. It was the second cheapest quote. The cheaper quote was made of wood. We had no idea we could afford Vinyl for $200 more. Yippee. Our gate has a Lifetime warranty according to the paperwork. We believe we heard it was 10 years. We were told how to protect our gate from strong winds. Our gate is gorgeous. Those are my words, not hubby's. My husband exclaimed how much he loves it! He said it with great enthusiasm. After doing a great deal of research because we are new to California, we decided to have Vinyl Concepts build our backyard pergola. The former owner of our house had used them for the fences, and those seemed solid and well done. We were absolutely more than happy with the result of the job and with the people involved from start to finish. They had to coordinate with the stone company who did our pavers, and they also had to deal with rescheduling the project when the heavy rains came. Both were done seamlessly and without any stress on our part. Carlos Moreno oversaw the build, and we could not have asked for a better professional! He was personable, quick to reply to texts or phone calls, and invested in seeing that the job got done right. When it was all finished, he came by to see it, and seemed to be as genuinely pleased with it as we were. A huge shout out also has to go to Felipe Palacios, and his helper, Fernando. They were very particular in ensuring that everything was measured accurately and put together firmly. We had a glitch in the build (entirely our error) and they were able to fix it, and did so easily and without any problem. Vinyl Concepts has done two projects for me. Several years ago they installed a patio cover and did an excellent job. Most recently, a few weeks ago they removed some very worn out and ugly wrought iron and replaced it with very nice vinyl fencing. On both occasions, they did exactly what we contracted for and they were very punctual and did any excellent job and their cleanup is impeccable. On our most recent project with the replacement of the wrought iron, Felipe and Fabian arrived as scheduled, they were actually six minutes early, which pleased me very much being a busy person with schedules to keep; and after verifying their work order with me they got right to work. They efficiently and professionally removed the old wrought iron, loaded it in their van and quickly proceeded the installation of the new vinyl. There was an unexpected issue with the existing brick caps being larger than the block pillars so they had to "notch" the bricks to make a very clean and finished look for the vinyl. They checked with me first to ask if I wanted the brick notched or the vinyl. Notching the vinyl would not have been a good remedy as they explained to me. It would have been easier for them but they didn't believe it would look as nice once finished. Within three hours the entire project was completed and Felipe and Fabian were on their way. The quality of materials, craftsmanship and attention to detail is visibly evident and one of the many reasons I will continue to utilize their services whenever the need arises. I have been involved with small business for several decades and this gentleman represents the company extremely well. I had to ask him if he was the owner. How many people do we encounter that actually seem to enjoy there job. Customer service is truly a lost art. Mr. John Ochalek Impressed me so much, I had to write this review. They did good work. They have a very long lead time. They installed everything nicely. However, the day that they installed the gates for me, they were supposed to bring a "deluxe keyed latch" upgrade. They forgot it. They said they would return next week to install it. They did not show up. I called them, and they scheduled for a couple weeks later. They did not show up. I called them a month later, and suggested a refund. They said they would come install it. I said fine. They did not show up. I called a month later. They said they would refund me, she just needed approval. Nothing happened. I called a month later. She said she would mail a check. Nothing happened. Now it's another month later. I am hoping they will see this review and finally put an end to this ridiculous problem and send me the $100 check. The actual work they did was good. The inability to handle a simple administrative request for a refund (because they were too busy to come and finish the job) was not good. read more

This is a two-for-one review of Pacific Garage Doors & Gates and Vinyl Concepts, so I'm posting this review to both. We moved into a new place in January. It has a slab of concrete on the property that's wide enough for two cars to park, but had a vinyl fence with a manual gate that really only allowed one car in, maybe two if you did a lot of angle, reverse, angle, reverse, etc - a real pain to use. I contacted Vinyl Concepts about widening the opening of the gate to allow two cars and automating the gate so I wouldn't have to get out of the care every time I wanted to leave or enter. They let me know that they could do the fence work, but Pacific was who they recommended for the gate automation. So I called up Pacific and looped them in. Throughout the process, Core at Vinyl Concepts and Drew at Pacific were just fantastic to work with (really, everyone at both were super pleasant). We had a joint meeting to discuss exactly what I was looking for, they each proposed some ideas based on their respective experiences, and I just couldn't be happier with the way the whole project turned out, including the price, which I thought was completely reasonable. Really, just an overall fantastic experience with both Vinyl Concepts and Pacific Garage Doors & Gates. I highly recommend both of them. read more

I recently had a fence and gate installed. Vinyl Concepts did a great job. My fence is a light brown, I think it's called maple. It makes my patio look so much better. I took one star off because the gate I ordered evidently did not come in that color, but they didn't tell me that when I ordered it. They made another gate for me, and now I like it. It is a semi private gate so I can see out, which is nice. They were VERY good about making an adjustment on the price because of the gate change. The workers were very good. I get many compliments because it's not the typical white color and it blends in nicely. I felt their customer relations were excellent so I recommend this company without hesitation read more
