If I could give Customize Vinyl 10 stars I would. I've had bad experiences dealing with other vinyl contractors in the past and right away they put my worries at ease. The area that I needed my wall topped wasn't in the easiest of locations in my yard but the professionalism and creativity that they came up with amazing. Art and Armin were very responsive and professional in getting us a quote for our backyard. My husband and I wanted a brown PVC fence color, something warm in color rather than typical white fencing and Art and Armin delivered! I have been wanting to replace my wooden fence with a vinyl fence for so long, and when I came across Customize Vinyl Fencing, I asked myself why I hadn't taken the step sooner. The father/son combo of Art and Armen was top notch to work with. They were both very responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. The time it took from the initial on-site meeting to the finished job took about 1 week. Installation only took a day and a half (we installed 150+ feet of vinyl fence along with a gate). Armen was friendly, responsible, and detail oriented and I appreciated his guidance as he took care of the whole installation. Him, along with Orlando, took great care of my backyard and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves as well. They even came out promptly the next day to switch up some of the slats that weren't matching in color. If you are looking for a vinyl fence, there is no need to look elsewhere. Customize Vinyl Fencing is incredible. Art and his father, Armen, were great. They always showed up on time for the estimate and dropping off samples to us. They worked so hard and turned a two day job into one day. We had an old rotting fence removed and they replaced with an 8' tall 93' long vinyl fence. They didn't have the fence we wanted but were able to special order and get it quickly. We are having them come out and give us another bid for the fence on the other side of the yard. read more

Naz, who prepared the quote, came out twice to review the project. Ish later returned to take final measurements, and the installation crew arrived as scheduled and completed the work professionally. Naz also coordinated with their roller shades partner, Daryl, to help me add roller shades to the patio cover. There were a few minor issues along the way, and my louvers needed adjustments on two separate occasions. Each time, Alum Works was responsive and never hesitated to send someone out. Alex, Ish and even Drew personally came by to make sure everything was adjusted properly and that I was satisfied with the final results. I highly recommend Alum Works to friends and family for their patio cover needs. Their customer service, responsiveness, and commitment to getting the job done right made the entire experience a positive one.

The quote was right in the middle but they were the only company that offered to do a louvered patio for me which was what we really wanted. In the end, it ended up costing more but it gave us our dream patio and we are ecstatic with the results. My patio supplies arrived in roughly a week and was installed in just one day by Ish and team. Jenny was so incredibly flexible with installment payments. Edgar arrived on time at my house and took all the necessary measurements, but it felt rushed like he clearly had somewhere to be. When he was finished measuring, I asked about color options and he directed me to go to their store which I thought was really lame that he didn't have any samples to show me, didn't offer me to check out their website and did not give me a business card. The whole thing felt rushed and unprofessional. Edgar told me he'd have a quote by end of day emailed to me. That was two days ago, still haven't received that quote. These guys never had any intention on doing any work for us, and have made it perfectly clear that they don't need our business, so one of their competitors (close to their Northridge store ;) ) is getting our business instead. His knowledge and professionalism were unmatched. Had we gone with the first contractor, we would have ended up with a non-insulated cover that couldn't be walked on--creating major problems (and added costs) down the line when it came time to repaint the second story of the house. Thanks to Jeff's guidance, we avoided that entirely with an insulated cover. As homeowners without construction expertise, we rely heavily on the integrity and guidance of our contractor. With Jeff, we felt completely at ease--he handled every detail with care and respected the trust we placed in him. His crew was punctual, courteous, hardworking, and kept the backyard clean. Jeff personally oversaw the entire project. He made thoughtful recommendations that others missed, potentially saving us from future surprises and costly change orders. Everything he said he would do--he did, and more. He even met our timeline and had the cover installed before the 4th of July, just as he promised. Any time I had a question, Jeff answered his phone or returned the call within the hour. That kind of old-school work ethic and customer service is rare these days. This was one of the best home improvement experiences we've had since moving to the Santa Clarita Valley. If you're looking for a reliable, experienced professional for your patio cover or pergola project, I highly recommend Jeff and his team at MTCO. Also, aluminum EliteWood has the look of wood but far outlasts wood--my parents' old pergola was completely riddled with termites. Don't throw good money after bad with wood. jeff is the best!…read more The main reason we chose jeff from other companies was his competitive pricing and expert knowledge. He was the only one that would place the footings on our paver patio. all other companies wanted to place the footings on the grass next to the patio. once the permit was approved, there was an added requirement of placing fire sprinklers on the patio cover! jeff worked with the city and a fire inspector to remove this nonsensical requirement which saved time and money. when it came time to place the footings, the pavers were removed carefully and set aside. once the footings were in place, you couldn't even tell they were removed. he and his helper also left our yard tidy and organized at the end of each day. overall, we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. jeff was meticulous, reliable, and a true professional. highly recommend!

I recently hired this company to remove my old fence and install a new vinyl fence and door, and I couldn't be happier with the results so far! From start to finish, the communication has been smooth and friendly, and I really enjoyed chatting with the team. Despite a heat wave in LA, they showed up on time and completed the initial job right on schedule. They not only removed the old fence but also poured cement to create a strong foundation for the new vinyl one. Upon request, they installed a lock and handle for the door, which was a great touch. After installation, they made sure to clean up, even washing down the fence to remove any stains. I requested additional fence removal after the first day, and they were very accommodating. Asked him if he could come by to give me a quote on repairing an existing fence that was broken due to someone running into it with their car. Customize Vinyl Fencing installed my gate and fence many month ago. On Thursday (2/13/2025) the wind and rain made the lock on the gate not work. I emailed them on Saturday and they were out on Sunday fixing the gate. This gate is part of my families security and I was pleasantly surprised how quick they responded to my needs.
