Terrible. Slow service and communication. The transmission in the van blew up literally 48 hours after I picked it up. Do not buy from them.

We got in touch with a sales associate to setup an appointment and it was smooth sailing from the minute we walked in the door. We sort of knew what we wanted and did a quick test drive. When we returned we went over the financials as well as a quote for our trade in. It was a no brainer. Our sales associate along with the general sales manager went through every rebate that Ford was offering to get us the best possible price and they came through. When we met with the finance manager he was very easy to work with and explained everything in a simple manner. He wasn't pushy, didn't try to sell us additional warranties and whatnot. He made sure to tell us about everything that Walker Ford offers and we did, in fact, order the tire warranty, which has already paid for itself. Our sales associate, Amy Potter was terrific. The General Sales Manager, Ivey Thigpen was a pleasure to work with along with everyone we talked to in the building. There is no doubt in my mind that our next vehicle will be purchased at Walker Ford.

Upon arriving, service rep Don informed me they didn't have the part in stock to do the needed work. Said I should have called to schedule, not scheduled through the (official) Ford app so they could have told me if if they had the part or not. I told him people do a lot through apps, and the app didn't say there would be a problem with my appointment or I should call instead. I said the receptionist called to confirm my appointment on 9/1, she could have checked with a service rep or technician to see if the part was on hand and told me to postpone my visit. I dove a half an hour and wasted my time to come to an appointment for them to tell me they didn't have the safety recall part on-hand. I said he should tell his manager the system is flawed. He said he wished it was different, and his manager wasn't there. He then said they won't have the part until 9/21 - if the part even comes in. He said call to find out and schedule an appointment. I said he should call me, so he hesitantly agreed (I felt like I was inconveniencing him) and told me he would reschedule me to Saturday, 9/26 (although I received no confirmation text yet). I told him I never had this problem with Honda and this left a bad taste in my mouth having my first Ford vehicle. I chose Walker's because of the good reviews. I left very disappointed. Got a text message this morning (9/6) saying "sorry" you missed your appointment and I should reschedule. Salt in the wound...

This is one of the best pieces of news I received all week. Anyway, after a couple of furtive…read moreepisodes since my dear Queen Bee's car was hit by one of their (now ex-) mechanics, I walked in for my Athena car's regular oil change. Lo and behold Mike Bennett has returned to the dealership after the last two plus years away from the fold. As had previously been the case, Mike is totally on top of things and as detail oriented as it gets. All I can say is that Tasca is very lucky to have such a hard worker...One small example is when he asked whether I was gonna wait for my car or no. He then went quickly thru the advantage and disadvantage of both. While I already knew I was not going to wait, these small details are what made Dick Norris a great dealership for keeping my Athena car up and running. It continues now with the Tasca name and so long as the rest of this dealership keeps it going in the same direction...uh: I find myself happy yet simultaneously shocked to offer kudos and praise to a car dealership. Meanwhile, here is where I bought my Athena car brand new a few years back (thanks to Mickey). Here continues to be where I have her taken care of too...and that's that.

This guy straight up told us he WILL NOT accept payment from Navy Federal, What?! At first he said that he wouldn't accept a Draft check due to having been burnt in the past. A cashiers checked, and a draft check are very different. I've got the BBB is on speed dial. Anyone know a good lawyer, lmk When we returned to the dealer to our surprise they clearly didn't want our business only to make money off of us on the financing. That was a hard no!! Who is anyone to tell you how your legal tender must arrive and to be able to decline a payment. The smug F&I manager held his ground while the young salesman lost a sale. Sad misuse of skin and grey matter. Veteran's, is this American?

That brought the price down to $1500. Then, my wife reminded me that my she bought a car max warranty. Antonio took it all in stride, callled carmax and got approval. Now the repairs are only costing us $300. He also got us a rental while they were repairing it. Great electric Chevy blazer. His communication was excellent, and the service quick and thorough. The service rep did not hear me say passenger side or I must have not communicated clearly the passenger side. The took out the wrong side (Driver) which I was willing to let go. The kept it another day and removed the correct seat this time. When I went to pay, I noticed a total of 8 hours of labor. Which is ridiculous as my service rep texted me "All done" 2 hours after the technician started working on it the 2nd day. Which obviously means he took ONLY 2 hours the first day. Therefore, a Total of 4 hours should be billed as I have proof of her text to me "All Don" just 2 hours after he started. I have tried to communicate that to the service rep which she directed me to her manager. He did not call me the whole next day and it seems he's blowing me off as I haven't received a call from him the following day or even today, which is July 6th*

After several days of phone calls and emails encouraging me to come in, the dealership prepared a written proposal for a new 2026 Hyundai Elantra SE with my 2012 Elantra Touring in trade. The agreed out-the-door price was $19,993.46, and my wife and I came to the dealership on July 4 fully intending to complete the purchase. After spending considerable time completing paperwork, the deal was stopped at the last minute because the illumination for my odometer display had become intermittent. The odometer itself still records mileage correctly (approximately 51,500 miles), but because the display was not illuminated at that moment, I was told the dealership could not verify the mileage electronically and therefore could not accept the trade. I was even told that, for all they knew, the car could actually have 150,000 miles. Since then, I have spoken with Hyundai technicians at other dealerships, as well as members of Fitzgerald's own service department. All advised that vehicle mileage can generally be retrieved electronically using Hyundai's diagnostic equipment, depending on the vehicle, and Fitzgerald's service department even invited me to bring the car in for that purpose. What disappointed me wasn't simply that a problem arose. It was that after aggressively pursuing my business and preparing a complete purchase proposal, the dealership showed little interest in exploring a reasonable solution before canceling the transaction. I later purchased the same 2026 Elantra SE from Hyundai of New Port Richey for $19,499.80 out the door--nearly $500 less than Fitzgerald's proposal--and the odometer issue was not treated as an obstacle. I also wrote to Fitzgerald's General Manager describing my experience and asking whether the dealership wished to revisit the transaction. I received no response. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend Fitzgerald Hyundai.
