Bummed. This place was recommended by someone that spoke highly of it. Went in got a basic manicure that turned out bubbly after I had went home and saw the nails from a certain angle. Pretty messy with polish on my skin. Spent $65 on a pedicure. Didn't get a legit massage and the pedicure water was Luke warm. Won't be back.

I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received today, August 13, 2026. I've been to this location before and had a much better experience, so I'm especially disappointed by how differently I was treated this time. I came in around opening to make an appointment and was greeted by Sarah, the receptionist. I was told it would be better to return around 5 PM, so I understood and made an appointment for that time. When I returned, I greeted Sarah and was directed to chair 6. Shortly after I arrived, a walk-in came in and was attended almost immediately. Within about five minutes, the walk-in was already being assisted, while I was still waiting despite having an appointment. What made the situation more uncomfortable was the noticeable change in service after a woman in a green shirt appeared to notice that I was typing a Yelp review. Shortly afterward, my pedicure technician came out. From that point, the service felt noticeably tense and aggressive rather than welcoming. I also wasn't initially given a color palette to help confirm my selection. I was taking my time choosing because it had been a while since I had treated myself, but the overall attitude made the experience uncomfortable. Once I began asking for names, the service seemed to become more pleasant, which unfortunately made the earlier treatment stand out even more. The most frustrating part was feeling as though my appointment was being treated as less important than a walk-in. I cannot say for certain why this happened, but based on my experience, I left feeling that my appearance or perceived demographic may have influenced how I was treated. That is an extremely uncomfortable feeling to leave a business with. I also overheard conversations between employees during my service that I found unprofessional and unrelated to providing a welcoming experience for customers. I want to be fair because there are clearly talented individuals working here, and I have had a better experience at this location previously. However, today's experience was unacceptable. I would recommend management pay closer attention to how appointments and walk-ins are prioritized and, more importantly, how every customer is treated regardless of appearance or perceived background. Sarah, Nina, and Cindy were involved in my experience today. Sarah, in particular, is the receptionist and appeared to understand the appointment process, which made the way my appointment was handled even more disappointing. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Talent is not enough if customers do not feel welcomed, respected, and treated fairly.

Tracy is Phenomenal! I've had Tracy for my gel x set and 2 fills now and she's amazing. Takes her time, helps to find the right color I want and is efficient. My nails always come out beautiful and she's who I request specifically now for anything gel x. There is a newer girl working the front desk, or at least I think my first time seeing her, and she's amazing too. She's very attentive to everyone. I walked in when there was a line of people checking out to pay. I checked in on the iPad and sat down to wait. Once the line was gone, the girl circled back to check in with me and I really appreciated that - just to make sure that I wasn't overlooked even though I checked in. Prices have gone up everywhere but I love the work done here 99% of the time - the only little meh situations have been one offs they aren't huge or in any way something that deters me from going here. First time here and I will definitely be returning. Prices are reasonable and everyone was super nice. My finger nails are worse than a child's and the lady who did my manicure did a great job for what she had to work with. She made them all shiny and neat. She got all of the dead sling around my nails and my pedicure felt to good. The lady who did my pedicure removed so much of the Calus on my heals. I have a bad habit of walking around outside with no shoes and no one ever really gets it's all off but she did. This is just what I needed right before surgery.

Literally spent 400 dollars for pedicures and manicures. Got them done yesterday and literally 24 hours later, the color has chipped. Very disappointing. Couldn't even seal my polish right.

Was in the area and needed some self care for me and my daughter. VIP Nails lounge was close to where we were staying so it was very convenient. We made an appointment because I didn't know how busy they can get. Which I highly suggest to do so. Parking: private parking Staff: I was assigned to Nina (pedi) and Tracy (mani). They were both very friendly and easy to talk to. They both did an amazing job just the way I liked it. I would definitely ask for them again if I'm in the area. They both have Venmo so that's how I gave them their tip. Leo was assigned to my daughter and wow, she's very picky and only had high praises for his work. Great Job, Leo! She will definitely ask for you when we are in the area. He, too, has Venmo for tips. Venue: it's huge, clean and lots of stations. I highly recommend VIP Nails lounge.

I typically have a great experience at this nail shop. The staff is very friendly, and the general service they provide is good. However, during my last appointment, I specifically asked the nail tech to remove all my cuticles during a manicure. I asked for a non-gel manicure, clear coat because my nails were quite short. She probably took less than 10 min doing this manicure. She quickly rushed through pushing back the cuticles after only letting my nails soak for maybe one minute. She spent maybe 3 min cutting the cuticles before she was ready to apply polish. I noticed right before she started to apply the clear coat that the cuticles were not all removed. I pointed this out to her, and she just kind of mumbled and "took off" more cuticle for a couple seconds then started painting before asking me if I was happy with my cuticles. When the main request is to remove cuticle growth, I would expect more attention and care to that request. But instead it felt like she just didn't want to do it because it would take more time. I mentioned several times that I just really want all the cuticles gone, but it felt like she wanted to be done. One day after my "manicure" this is how my nails looked. You can see all the cuticle she didn't take off, and there were numerous hang nails that were not cared for. I understand short nails are hard to work on, but I paid nearly $70 for a manicure and pedicure. I was very pleased with my pedicure, and she did pay plenty of attention to detail during that. However, since she did my manicure last, it felt like she was ready to be done and did not give my hands the same care as my feet. That was not at all what I wanted or expected. My advice is, if a client is requesting a specific service, maybe take the time to listen and check if they are happy with how it is turning out. I hope they do read these reviews and adjust their methods to address clients request. read more

First time at their new location. I called to make an appointment and they were very friendly and accommodating since i told them I'm off a little late. I got gel x manicure plus a gel manicure. My nail technician name is Tee and she did such an amazing job! Def took her time to make sure it came out perfect! She asked me questions if i liked it or if i wanted her to change or fix anything. My pedicure nail tech did a great job as well especially since i had some ticklish feet! She took her time with me and did a great job. I would def recommend this business! read more

I got my nails done here on Feb 2, and I'm very displeased by the quality of service. The lady who did my gel nails was very nice, but she couldn't get the shape I really wanted. There were small pieces of black dust/dirt painted on with bumpy textures & cuticles were not properly tended. They did gel nails on my natural long nails, and 3 of my nails ended up cracking 2 days later. Usually, even though I paint my natural long nails, it isn't this fragile. I also got my toes done and the overall paint finish looked very inconsistent. Overall, it was not a great experience. read more

Found this spot after my gym workout in La Palma area and I am glad I dropped by. Since it was around 1045ish it wasn't busy at all and they took me as a walk in. It is very clean and spacious inside, seemed like the A/C was off but I hope they have it on next time I come by. Kathy was pretty awesome and took care of my manicure. Told her I wanted to take a break from color and she still took her time and got my nails together topping it off with a cute light pink gloss finish. This place just opened about two weeks ago. They have an ATM inside for tipping purposes. They do prefer cash but you can still use your card or Zelle for a fee. Will be back! read more

Had some time to kill so I stopped by this place because it the new version of VIP nail lounge on Valley View- the one I usually go to. First impression is everything is so bright, new, and clean. There's 9 massaging spa pedicure seats available and 13 manicure seats available. All the nail polishes are organized beautifully and so many options to choose from. I was seated right away. The ladies who did my nails did a great job. I always opt for the royal pedicure, which was done by Amy. She did a great job and her foot massage was so relaxing it almost made me fall asleep. Jojo did my dip manicure. She was so sweet and attentive to detail. All in all, I had a great experience and I will be back again! read more

I went in yesterday to get gel x cat eye set. I was told my the person she was still learning and didn't know how to do cat eye. I was disappointed but decided to give her a break and let her just do gel x and gel nail color. It looked good when done but I felt the nails not as hard as usual. When I got home I started feeling like the nails were not done right. I was cleaning my house and my pinky nail fell off the nail was definitely not cured the correct way. In the morning when taking a shower another nail fell off. I ended up taking them all off without a struggle. I guess it's a hit or miss at this location. They are nice and have great customer service along with the vibe, but they most definitely shouldn't have new personnel working there that can't handle doing a good set. read more

The name VIP is a stretch for this establishment. Not very welcoming my first time, but the technicians who did my manicure and pedicure were fine. Wanted to find a new regular salon for my husband and me, since our previous regular salon of 4 years recently closed. We arrived at 10 am for appointments we had reserved for weeks. They must have opened a little early, because some walk-in patrons were already being serviced. I asked what happened since we had an appointment. She said she didn't see our appointment. Perhaps they should sign up for the reminder texts like I received. Oh well, on to another place. read more

I stopped going here because they INSIST on using the drimal to remove gel polish. I don't use the drill on my nails because they always break after they use it. I've never had any issues when the nail tech would wrap my nails in foil and soak off the gel. I realize this takes more time, so when I check in I offer to be wrapped first and wait for a tech to be available. The last 2 times I've gone, the tech insists on using the drill and then talks mad sh*t when I say no. Consequently, she does a crap job on my nails. read more

I have been to VIP Nail lounge a few times now. Unfortunately, I chose a nail salon within walking distance from my home but instantly regretted it. It was an awful experience. So I'm here again today at VIP nails lounge and I will never go anywhere else. Not only is the customer service above and beyond, the staff are wonderful. They are truly skilled at their profession. Very kind and understood exactly what I wanted. And definitely did not try to "upsell ". It was truly a wonderful experience. read more

I went there when it wasnt even busy. Rushes everything. Got gel manicure and Pedicure. Pedicure was horrible. Noticed bubbly, bumpy color right after it dried. Manicure was ok but she doesnt even cut my cuticles lol so I realized it after i was done with everything I can do better than this. This is so far the worst nail salon ive been to. I had an awful experience at this salon. The nail shape I asked for was completely wrong--my nails were literally to the ceiling. That was frustrating enough, but the worst part was the technician's attitude. She was rude and unprofessional, clearly uninterested in doing a good job. She tried to convince me that it was my nature nail, it was crooked?! Even when she's "fixed it" it was still badly done.
