We had a slow leak in our tire and also noticed the tire may need to be changed. Contacted Thang at VIP Tires for same day service. We were welcomed to bring our car in same day! Service was quick, we were in and out with a new tire within 30 minutes. Service was done with a smile. The cost of the tire was better then any other place. I talked to them over the phone and asked them if they have the tires that i need. They said they have so went to their place talked to them about the tires that i need.. the guy went back to check if they have it in stock and got back to me and said they have it.. so he told me that after they're don e with the first customer they will do mine.. so i waited for 40 minutes only to find out that they only have One tire with a poker face not a single f was given.. they don't care if they wasted somebody's time.. i was really pissed so i have to write a review.. to let people know that they should avoid this place read more

Bought a couple tires from tire rack that needed to be installed and called my usual places that I buy tires from and conveniently they are all booked for the week. I bought from tire rack because I wanted matching front and rear tires and couldn't seem to find the tires here on island so I ordered them. Nobody wanted to install them when they came in so I asked a buddy of mines and he said VIP will do it. Went over there and it took 15 min. Awesome service. I highly recommend them. read more

DON'T BUY TIRES FROM VIP TIRES! I would have never bought tires from VIP Tires if I knew what I was getting myself into. I bought two tires from VIP Tires less than one month ago and discovered one of the tires was the wrong size. I noticed my car was pulling to one side so I scheduled an appointment at Firestone to have the alignment inspected. The staff at Firestone told me my alignment is fine and one of my front tires is the wrong size. I decided to go back to VIP Tires to exchange the tire. I talked to the same guy who sold me and put the tires on my car. I was polite and never complained about all the inconvenience they caused because nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. All I expected was for them to correct their mistake by letting me exchange the tire. They went ahead and removed the tire and then before they put the new tire back on my vehicle another guy approached me and told me the tire is going to cost $65 and they charge a $10 disposal fee. I told them I already paid for the tire so I shouldn't have to pay them again. They told me today is another day so I have to pay them again. I told them a bought the tires less than one month ago but they said their tires come with a one-week warranty and since it's been longer than one week they have to charge me again for the same tire. The warranty shouldn't matter because they are the ones that made a mistake and I shouldn't have to pay them to correct their mistake. It's like they were trying to blame me for not noticing the problem sooner. I don't understand why some other reviews say their staff is fast and friendly because that is definitely not what I experienced while I was there. Their staff is not customer service-oriented and doesn't care if you're satisfied with their service. Maybe their service was good once upon a time when they had different staff and management because their service was absolutely terrible. The guys that work there are scum and will try to take advantage of you. VIP Tires is a creepy, uncomfortable environment that's mosquito-infested. One of the guys that were working that day was acting hostile the whole time I was there and threatened to kick my ass if I have a problem with the way they do business. I went there to get a tire. I didn't go there to get into a fight. I don't feel the need to fight someone because they are unhappy about their life. VIP Tires shouldn't be allowed to do business with the general public. I heard the VIP Tires staff are ex-cons which makes sense because that's the vibe I got while I was there. I didn't act like I had a chip on my shoulder while I was there so I don't understand why they acted so rude to me. There doesn't seem to be any accountability at VIP Tires because I've called to complain to the manager many times but they are never there and they don't return phone calls. Maybe the manager is there but the people who answer the phone are lying. It's obvious VIP Tires aka VIP Towing doesn't care about customers and only cares about making money despite who they rip off. VIP Tires only accepts cash which I think is a huge red flag and they never gave me a receipt for the two tires I purchased. VIP Tires is owned and operated by a bunch of ignorant mokes who have no aloha. Buying tires should never be such a traumatic experience. I highly recommend buying tires from another tire shop even if you have to spend a little more money because the amount of money you save is not worth the hassle. If you're looking for good quality used tires and friendly service then I recommend The Tire Shop in Waipahu. read more

Got tires for my Kia Sorento. Good value. They price by size of tire so my 17 inch were 75.00 a tire and balance and 10.00 for them to dispose of your old tires. Most tires have more than 70% tread on them. Will go back. read more

Since Honolulu has the worst roads in the U.S. my year old Audi Q5 has been through two flats. With both flats, I've been to VIP Tires for the best rates for new and used tires. The process, the customer service and the price cannot be beat. They have a huge inventory of tires and they install my tires for free with purchase. The staff was super accommodating and welcoming.
