We did the rent for one of my good friends birthdays and it was the cutest birthday experience…read moreever! My favorite wines in the tasting: White Petit Manseng 2024 10/10 La Belle Vie Rose 2023 9/10 Sauvignon blanc 2023 8/10 La Belle Vie White 2024 9/10 Red Abbinato 2022 9/10 Coyote cave 9/10 (bolder than abbinato) Merlot 2023 8/10 (very light and pleasant) Petit Verdit 2019 We ended up going with the petit manseng it's sweet but not overly sweet. Extremely good, like a moscato. The food: The burger 15/10 The crab dip 9/10 Grilled Cheese 8/10 Dessert: Wine cakes 50/10 SOOO WORTH IT! I believe the tent comes with one of the charcuterie boards - Le Grand Cru Platter. I honestly thought it was alright, not the best sprays I've had and the bread was hard. I'd give it a 7/10. The winery cakes were PHENOMENAL!!!!!! I was IN LOVE. They apparently soak it for many hours in their wine. I highly recommend it! Both the strawberry and vanilla one was great, but I really enjoyed the strawberry cake. Apparently you have to order 3 days in advance. The tent was actually pretty warm if you kept it zipped up. There were two heaters in the tent. I think we got the tent for 12 people, but it comfortably fit 10 people. Overall I highly recommend this winery, I would TOTALLY come back !

I went on Mother's Day to see the Chris Ryan band, and it was a lovely day…read more There is a stage for the band, there is a playground for kids, there are animals that are very friendly, including a very noisy peacock and a peahen. One side of the main building is the winery area, and the other side is the brewery area, the signage is a little hard to decipher, but it's pretty easy to figure out by asking. The wines were delicious, I tried a white and a red, and Anna, who served me, was very patient with my questions, even though the line was long. I appreciated that and I didn't feel rushed. The other young lady also helped me, and the staff was incredibly nice, even though the line was very long. There are multiple picnic tables out in the open area in front of the stage, and there's a lovely seating area right in front of the winery and around the side, and there's even a little hidden grotto that's very pretty. They have lights outside, so it probably looked very pretty after dark too. If you want to sit at the picnic tables, pick one under a tree, because the sun does get pretty brutal. I also recommend possibly bringing something to sit on, or you can bring a blanket and sit in the grass. I brought a large cooler with a picnic,, and they did come and inspect it, but it was fairly perfunctory. I brought my own nonalcoholic things to drink, in glass bottles, and I had my own glass, and there was not an issue with that. I would advise bringing some food, as at this gathering I think the only food truck was a pizza truck. When I had gone before, they gave the option of a fruit and cheese platter, but I didn't see any this time. I think the food trucks rotate, but you could probably call and ask. It's a lovely place, but if you don't know where you're going, you might miss it, so look for the sign in and a white truck with black lettering with the name of the brewery and the Vineyard on it. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this for an afternoon, and they have rotating bands that play, and it makes for a lovely day out.

I visited Morais Vineyards for the first time yesterday to celebrate a dear friend's birthday, and…read moreI truly didn't know what to expect since I had never heard of it before. From the moment we arrived, I was completely blown away. As we parked and walked toward the field--with gazebos and a dock with seating--I immediately noticed how kid-friendly the vineyard is. The playground setup was incredibly creative and perfect for sparking a child's imagination. I honestly wish I had known ahead of time because I would have brought my little one! The property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. There were horses roaming around, which added such a peaceful charm. As we explored, I kept noticing thoughtful and unique touches everywhere--from a stunning wine tree to large decorative clay pots, and even buildings designed to resemble a Greek town that house classic cars. It all made the experience feel extra special. There was a wedding taking place, so part of the property was closed off, but it was easy to see how perfect this venue would be for an intimate "I do." Inside the main building, they offered a great selection of food, an impressive wine list available by the glass, bottle, or flight, and hands down the best wine slush I've ever had. My only critique is that it seemed like the AC wasn't working inside, and I really felt for the bartenders who were working so hard as it got busier throughout the day. Overall, I absolutely loved this place. It's one of the few spots that truly caters to both adults and children, and I'll definitely be back.

Tastings come with a small snack plate of cheese, meats crackers and chocolate. Wines are primarily Portugal varietals. We enjoyed most of the wines we tried and bought a few bottles as well.
