This salon is great. In a perfect location near Lohmanns Plaza next door to Roxy Restaurant. I was a first time client. She made me feel welcome and she fit me in the same day. I think she is pricier than I'm used to, like $75 vs. my usual $50-$55 at other nice salons. It was just for wash, cut, blow dry...I only get hair cut like 3 times a year, so it's worth price. But I also tip $10, so that's like $85 out the door. I don't do color or anything extra. I wish she would have done a longer scalp scrub, head massage during wash, so I'll ask next time. That's the best part, right!!! Lol. The products are the Moroccan line which is nice and I love the root booster. She even blew dry using a round brush which I love, vs. blow dry with paddle brush then flat iron. I don't even ask for flat iron. I'm from Texas and love that big hair/pageant hair/news broadcaster hair. Lol. Nouzat was nice to take pics and forwarded to my phone. Salon is close to Sac State-my job-Huge plus there!!! I have been going to Nouzet (owner and master hair designer) for almost 10 years. I met her when she did my hair and makeup for a wedding, and have been going to her since. She is AMAZING. I love the way she cuts my hair and her color skills are essentially an art form! She always has great looking hair and totally cute outfits. I walked in the salon with no appointment and the owner immediately told me she would be able to give me a haircut so i took a seat. Since i was a walk in i expected the wait so it wasnt a big deal. The owner works really fast and fit me in between clients which i understand is normally not done so i was super THANKFUL. When she asked me what i wanted done i told her i just wanted it short and light because my hair is really heavy. She shampoo'd my hair and started her magic. Its almost like she looked at me and just knew what to do with my hair. One of the best haircuts i have ever gotten! My hair is short has amazing layers and texture. She works really fast so my cut was dont in i would say about 20 minutes w/ styling afterwards. The price i paid was 75 dollars which is a lot for a haircut but you get what you pay for. I've come to this salon twice already and I love the atmosphere. Everyone's really friendly and the noise level is pretty good (they play good music as well). I've gotten my hair done by Naomi twice now and both times I've been in love with my hairstyle. The first time I went with layers while keeping my length and this time I decided that I'm done with long hair, so I went with a symmetrical bob. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else but Naomi with this style and she did wonders!! The cut is exactly what I wanted and I have no regrets.
