Had the best pav bhaji in a while, most authentic taste. And the platter contained hara bhara kabab, paneer bites and corn cheese bites , so simple yet flavorful. For main course, jeera rice, roti and dal tadka, Maharashtran paneer and korma- all of them really good. The dessert was superb, malai kulfi was the best and took me back to my childhood. Gulab jamun, lauki halwa and falooda were simply brilliant. They said it was a special thing and not a regular thali, i hope they include it as a part of the menu soon Can't wait to go back soon!! Our initial visit was disappointing. However, we were very impressed on our second and third visit almost 10-months later. On our fourth visit we tried their weekend buffet which turned out to be a disappointment. I'll never go back for the buffet. Hope we like it the fifth time around. Have been coming here for few months and while the service was a let down, I could always count on the food quality. Not anymore... Ordered Sabudana Khichadi and that came uncooked first and had to send back. The second time a mush arrived which was pile of hot ... sabudana. Puran poli on as decent but is half the size of what was made before. Kurkuri Bhindi was nice. The complimentary soup was not hot at all. Came here today afternoon to have the Sunday buffet as we heard a lot about this place on local radio station. We were really very disappointed with the food. Very average food and average spread on a Sunday. The only items that tasted good were Kothimbir wadi(wish it had less salt) , mini samosa and Punjabi kadhi. Chole masala was not well cooked. Cauliflower curry was full of green peas and oily too. Shrikhand and sheera were pretty average. Pulav had rice lumps and papad was desperately oily. Overall not a good experience. This time service was very bad. It seemed like the two guys workin as waiters had no idea what was going on and how to take orders. Food took so long to come out even guests after who got there afterwards us got theirs and we were waiting for long time. Kotimbari vadi was not fresh and very dry compared how we had it before. I'm passionate about my city's street food. I'm from Bombay. The pav bhaaji was outstanding The best I've had outside of Bombay. Original pav, chopped RED onions and a wedge of lime. Only thing missing was mail butter on the side. Also had their kothmbir vadi! Crisp on the outside fluffy on this inside, perfectly spiced and generously laced with kothmir. After checking on their recommendations - I ordered shrikand and puri among other appetizers. Unfortunately the shrikand had fungus growing on it! I called, and was told to let them know next time I order shrikand about this incident to get a free one. Very poor customer service inspite of less to no crowd on Thursday afternoon. We went for girls afternoon lunch . For appetizers we ordered kothimbir vadi and sabudana vada. Sabudana vada was crooked shaped, like made from sabudana khichadi and put in oil. Than for main course we Ordered thali peeth, it was super oily , very thin and looked like stale one re fried . A nice vegetarian restaurant serving a Maharastrian (Western part of India) cuisine. We tried the lunch buffet and the vegetarian choices were plenty. The options were very good - Phulka, seasoned rice, pakoda, kadhi, Paneer masala, Eggplant masala, dal and a very tasty sweet corn soup. Dessert was Mango flavored Srikhand (thick Flavored yoghurt). Mirchi pakoda was very hot and I would recommend trying that at the end of your meal or the lips and tongue will burn for the entire meal :^) They had a good choice a la carte options in the menu if you go for dinner - which we are planning to go soon. Overall If you want to try something different from the same old same old vegetarian menu options in other restaurants with with lots of oily greasy options, you will appreciate the mostly Maharastrian menu options here, spiced just right. read more

Decent. The service is definitely slow. We had to call a server to attend us after 5 minutes of waiting, and then we waited about 25 minutes for our food. I dont leave reviews but this has been so pathetic that I want to share what happened. We waited 15 mins and no one came to take order in spite of reminder, the restaurant was full and most were just waiting to be served. While I thought that sharing this with the restaurant owner will help but it just got worse. He told me his order taking system is down but couldnt explain or resolve why the server couldnt come to write my order manually. He never acknowldged the issue or tried to resolve the problem and rather tagged my concern as being harsh and told me that I cant be harsh with him as he is a citizen and this is America .. . and showed me the door.... never expected a business owner would take more pride in his citizenship rather than customer experience. read more

This is the worst buffet for vegans. They hardly have 1 or 2 options in the buffet for vegans. And if you request for vegan options, they will ask you to purchase the curry from the a la carte menu. Food was decent, glad I could eat some Maharastrian cuisine. But, their management is horrible! We didn't get multiple orders even after a wait of over an hour. We ended up cancelling it at the end. The food that we did get was pretty decent. Their entire kitchen was confused and in mess but the two people managing (probably owners) were not at all bothered about customer experience. They didn't try to solve any issues. Instead, stood at the counter as if their operations was as smooth as butter and it's not their job or concern.
