Just got my tires rotated and had some recall work done- software updates. They waived the $30 rotation fee and my first 8000 miles cost me nothing maintenance wise (EV- no $100 oil change either! Well, what can I say, I stopped at this dealership last weekend to look at a calligraphy palisade they had for sale. The sales guy comes out to greet us so I told him I wanted to look at the car mentioned above. The sales guy goes back inside to grab the keys I'm assuming. Guess what, he never returned with the keys nor did he come back out to say to us he lost the keys. The wife and I waited 30 mins more than we should've. Check out my earlier review from one year ago. You would think after writing that review and having such an awful experience, I was vocal about, they wouldn't voluntarily reach out to me, but they did and it was another dreadful experience. A sales rep named Andrew reached out to me unsolicited, because he had a customer who was looking for my exact Jeep and Vision wanted to buy it from me. I love my Jeep. I've never loved a car more than the Jeep I currently have, so I told him I wasn't interested in selling. He kept pressing me by telling me he would "make it worth my while" because for whatever reason, with all the Jeeps they have in stock, mine was the one which fit what their customer wanted. I told him if he could pay off the remainder of my auto loan and put me in a comparable Jeep with the same low mileage, without my current monthly loan payment increasing, and cap financing at 36 months - I might consider a trade. He told me his customer was "hot" for my Jeep and he would get back to me w a great offer. I guess I needed to learn my lesson twice because instead of giving me a great deal, he sent me an offer which jacked up the price $3,000 of the Jeep he wanted me to take in trade- plus he added $350 to my current monthly payment and extended my current loan for five additional years. Adding insult to injury, he offered me less than book value for the Jeep they "had to have" for their customer. They are either out of their mind or they think I'm a fool. Not sure why I even entertained Andrew's call. Additionally, when they sent me the document of what they were offering me for my current vehicle, the Vin # claimed there was 20K more miles on the odometer than there actually is. They claim this was a typo, but it's five different random numbers so I don't know how it's a typo. I am now paying to pull a Carfax on my vehicle to make sure they didn't do something funny with the odometer prior to my purchase. After texting with saying I was not interested in doing any business - Andrew called me saying "all I wanna do is talk to you." The heck with that! I told him not to call me again and hung up. 10 minutes later I get another call and this time it's from his manager, Luke. I gave him about three seconds on the phone and told him never to call me again and hung up. I've bought my own cars for 40 years and I have never ever dealt with such flim-flam as I have with Vision. My overall experience with this dealership is they are smarmy, slick, and dishonest. Spend your money elsewhere and save yourself some aggravation- and don't fall for the "extended warranty" speech. read more

My mother recently baught a car here. She is elderly and needs help with purchases like this. My sister went with her to pick up a car. After the deal was done she sent me the paperwork to review and there was a $2500 discrepancy. I contacted the salesman who told me she added Lo Jack, rustproofing, and paint protection. Neither her or my sister agreed to any of this but did not catch that they added it to her deal. They have been unwilling to work out a solution and have screwed her over for $2500. If you decide to go here buy at your own risk and be prepared to review the numbers VERY closely. I agree the contract should have been more carefully reviewed before signing but unfortunately that did not happen. It is very obvious to me they are shady in how they hide cost and add extras you don't want in hopes you don't notice. If you bought a car from them I suggest you look back at your contract to see how they screwed you. First of all, think twice before purchasing a Tucson. It was great when they replaced my engine in May when it sounded like it was going to explode. Turns out, it was recalled. I suspected something was wrong when my car would burn through oil way too quickly. For 3 1/2 years,I kept saying to them, can you check for a leak. Their response...."nothing seems amiss" Well, apparently there was something very wrong in the end. Anyway, recently I brought my car back for hesitation upon accelerating. They tell me it's a clogged catalytic converter and it will cost $3300.00 to clean! I'm like...WHAT!? A new one wouldn't even cost that much. Of course I was like...HECK NO!! After some research, I discovered only a complete Moran would recommend cleaning it. I'm disappointed they didn't recommend a new one or know better that cleaning it is a ridiculous recommendation. Maybe because I'm a female and I wouldn't know the difference. Also, I would suspect driving around for 3 1/2 years with an oil sucking recalled engine would contribute to the clogged catalytic converter, therefore SHOULD be covered through the reimbursement campaign program. I called the shop the next day to address my concern. He tells me, "nope, there is NO correlation. The heck there isn't!!! Anyway, they lost a customer! Also, I'm still waiting on my rental car reimbursement when I had my engine replaced back at the beginning of May, almost 5 months later! read more

The customer service of this dealership is abominable. 1. They do not have the common courtesy to return a phone call. I have called at least 5 times regarding a deposit and have heard NOTHING. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. 2. Sales - tried to high pressure sell the keyless lock option, so the car would be less apt to be stolen -- for an upcharge. If theft is such an issue, Hyundai should fix the problem and make keyless entry standard. read more

Hello, I went in to purchase a vehicle and traded my older car a Elantra. They only gave me $300.00 for this and told me that was all that it was worth. I went back a few days later the car was on the lot being sold for wayyyy over that. I spoke with the manager regarding a new vehicle. I was told that I have 48 hours for exchange if it didn't work out...as it states on the business card. I spoke with the sales manager and told him my situation and told me directly "I can't help you once the vehicle leaves the showroom its your problem now" Unfair, and rude! I left numerous messages about this situation no return call back from the sales manager and sales person who I wrote to for answers also.You will get ripped off, I would not reccomend going to this dealer as they are just looking to make a quick buck! I leased a Hyundai Sonata from Vision Hyundai Henrietta in 2018. I bought out the lease in 2021. It was stolen Christmas week 2022. It was at the Webster Vision Hyundai for nearly 10K damage for 7 weeks. During my years with my Sonata--the semblance of service I received was from Frank the manager of Webster Hyundai's Collision shop. I had to find my own mechanic because Henrietta Vision Hyundai doesn't answer or return calls. I got sick of calling the service department over and over and not getting my call returned. In 2021 when I bought out my lease, I discovered that the wrong VIN number had been placed on all the paper work. The second week of April 2024 the door handle was ripped of my car and the holes left were pried with a screw driver. I decided to sell this car--enough is enough. I went to a new dealership and started a lease transaction. We discovered that there is no valid title for my car and the VIN is still incorrect. I went into Vision Hyundai Henrietta because they didn't return my phone calls. When there, I was told that they don't return calls because "the have cheap phones that don't call out and they are expected to use their private cell phones." And they refuse. I also learned that Vision Auto Group was bought out by Atlantic Auto Group of Florida and all my data was lost in migration to their system. A Vision Hyundai Henrietta employee called a woman named Noa at the Vision Auto Group who has a back up from before the data migration and she confirmed the wrong VIN#. And said that I need to call Hyundai Corporation. I have been escalated to the "executive care team," who are doing nothing but stringing me along. They said first it would take 5 days. Then 7 days. Now they just say they need more time. I've gone into Vision Hyundai Henrietta to get a loaner car and to have my car locked up, because I'm trying to keep it safe for my trade on the new car. I spoke to the sales manager Dan. He said he was unable to make the decision on the loaner. He took all my information and said someone would would get back to me. I tried to get a loaner at the Vision Auto Group level and at the Corporate level and no one returns my call. I have done absolutely nothing wrong--I leased the car, bought the car, maintained the car and paid every car payment on time. I'd like to mention that my insurance has doubled since the theft too. Hyundai Corporation holds solid on saying that they need more time to investigate--AT MY EXPENSE for their negligence. I think there must be some crime or fraud at some level within the Vision Auto Group. DON'T EVER BUY A HYUNDAI. There is no customer service and no integrity! read more

I leased a vehicle for three years from this location and they started out great. very attentive and helpful. at the end of the lease I decided to buy out the vehicle. they called me down to the Henrietta location to go over options. I was ignored for over an hour so I left. They called me two more times in which they did the same thing again. Another thing was I took the vehicle in for service and one of the service guys was smoking in my car and burned front seat with his cigarette. I do not smoke. I told the service manager and he told me to come back for a repair and then I started receiving the run around. I ultimately dealt with the Hyundai Finance Company and not Vision Hyundai Henrietta. Also, when trying to call for ANYTHING you will not get anyone and if you do ...you will not be satisfied. I've been dealing with Vision Hyundai since I bought my car from them in 2010 and I have nothing, but good things to say. I've been more than happy with my car these last four years. The service desk staff is helpful and friendly, especially for someone who has nearly no knowledge of how cars work. I've never felt pressured to fix more than what's required and they give me a full detail of what they've found if there are any issues. Normally, I wouldn't get service regularly through the dealership as many have suggested inflated costs. With my past vehicles, I brought my car to a local family recommended mechanic. Now, I have lifetime oil changes for free through Vision -- quite the marketing ploy, right? But it worked on me. Most of my visits have been for oil changes and only a few trips for regular maintenance at certain mileage marks. Cost-wise I haven't noticed a huge difference between some of the services I paid for (i.e. tire alignment, rear brake replacement). Service is often quick and I can usually get an appointment the week I call to get in. Customer service at this place is top notch too. I can shamefully admit I have no idea how to put air in my tires properly (with the gauge). They should have taught me that in Drivers Ed. Well anyway, my tire pressure light came on once the weather got chilly and I was driving down 15 so I called to see if Hyundai could quickly add air to my tires. Sure, the guy may have smirked at me knowing my ignorance, but it was quick and easy for him to do at no charge, I didn't even have to get out of the car. The waiting room has space to work -- I always bring my laptop -- and free wifi, just ask for the code at the reception desk. Free coffee too, magazines for reading, and a TV, which often is on morning shows like Good Morning America and The Chew. read more

I found a used car that I was very interested in on their website, and was thrilled to see they had dropped the "internet price" a few days later. Since I live an hour and a half away, I called to ask a salesperson if the "internet price" was really the total price, or were there other "fees" that would be added on? Derek the sales guy assured me that the internet price was THE PRICE of the vehicle. So, I made the long trip to Henrietta only to discover that Derek lied about the price - it was actually $1,777 more than the advertised price due to Vision forcing the sale of "extras" like an anti-theft system and maintenance plan (I was told by a different salesperson that these were NOT optional extras). Even after my salesperson asked about removing the maintenance plan - because I live an hour and a half away, and would never use it - the sales manager wouldn't budge. I actually felt bad for the salesperson who was made to execute this BAIT AND SWITCH, because he tried his best to offer the sale of the car without them. I have purchased 4 vehicles, both new and used, from the Vision group over the years, but this made me so angry that I had to walk out (even though I loved the car). I'm going to tell 1,000 of my friends about this experience, because I don't want them to be subjected to this type of experience. I wasted 3-4 hours of my day, and I won't go back. This is my second vehicle from Vision. I didn't have any troubles with the first so I went back. This second one I bought used from the lot and I had some trouble from the start that was dealt with but the service issues continue. The latest one has me very upset. I brought my vehicle into the Henrietta store for service. I described the sounds and what was going on- they said there was nothing wrong. I didn't feel that was right- but continued driving it. This past week I brought it into the Webster Nissan store for an oil change and tire rotation and described the same sounds and when it was happening. Turns out it was a very serious issue with the front end and tires. I have been driving with my kids in the car (in the winter ) with this issue until I could get another appointment. I have had to initiate the majority of communication to rectify a situation caused completely by the sales person's incompetence. The issue was finally resolved 11 weeks later. Communication to the Vision Automotive Group and Hyundai USA was ignored. I am really upset with Hyundai. Last month my SantaFe got stranded in the middle of the freeway with a seized engine. The car had to be towed of course. The Hyundai dealership did fix the car under warranty at no cost to me. So that is good. But Hyundai so far has refused to reimburse me for the towing fees. They first gave me a hard time and then send me to a website for submitting documents. They are playing the delaying tactics by asking periodically me for more documents, some of which were already submitted. This has been going on for a while now. I had an all-around horrible experience with this dealership. Several months ago, my 2011 Hyundai Sonata refused to start when I was in the parking lot of a store. The car is still under warranty, and when I called Hyundai Assurance to help me out, they told me that I would need a place to have my car towed to when they arrived. When I called Vision Hyundai, the receptionist told me Vision could not see me until the following week. This is without even asking me what was wrong with my car, whether I could start it, etc. I'm not sure what they expected me to do for a week without my car, considering I was stuck in a parking lot. read more

My first time here as a customer. I have a 2015 genesis so my first oil change here. Seems kinda chaotic and unorganized at service desk. Takes a few mins but checked in and oil change & tire rotation went quickly about 35 mins which was good. A little surprised by the price $68!! Oil change price is $39.95 not very competitive given all the places you can go for $10-15 less in price. Also had question for service advisor but he said he didn't know anything about the genesis. Well ok so much for that dont ask someone else or maybe take my ph# and look into my question when you get time. read more

I think this is a very reputable place. I did speak with them when I was looking for a car, and I feel kind of bad for not buying my Hyundai here. The people are friendly and knowledgeable (which is unfortunately rare for a dealership) and they really seemed to be pleased that I took an interest in their dealership. I think they gave me great recommendations, told me what I needed to know about the vehicles, and were very willing to let me test drive (and even recommended I drive other cars they felt would also fit my needs). They were attentive and usually quick. They even followed up with phone calls responsibly (not too many, not too few). I even saw the dealers working with other people, who seemed happy, and they were answering their questions thoroughly. Their dealership is also clean and professional-looking. I knew a few people who bought vehicles here and they keep returning. They seem responsible and respectful, though their service department may be a little expensive and, based on their experience, perhaps their service is not as good of quality as it should be. Still, I would recommend this place. The thing that drops the rating slightly, besides what I heard from others, is the erratic hours. It was hard to get hold of my salesman because the store closes at unusual hours - super early on certain days and they have surprisingly few hours on weekends. read more

Went to get a clip for my headlight and they wanted me to purchase an entire headlight assembly for $445. Their competitors have the same clip in stock for under $4. I needed to buy a rear window windshield wiper. The cost was $20. I pulled into the service bay and the gentleman said I needed to buy the wiper in the parts department, to leave my car in the bay. I told him I did not know how to change the wiper. He said he would help me. OK I bought the part. I hand him the part and he says he'll take care of it. He sends me off to a secluded waiting room. I can see my car through the garage door of the service bay. I see another man and "my helper" change out the wiper. Nobody comes to get , so I wait , and I wait.... Finally I get tired of waiting and I go out to the service bay and I say is my car fixed yet? It is yes you can pick it up now. Personally I find it really objectionable for a young man to be sitting behind a computer screen knowing full well that the job has been done and not coming to collect me. There was absolutely no reason for him not to do so as there was no crowd in the service bay to occupy his time. I would not recommend this place for service as a result perhaps they would take a full month to simply rotate tires. read more

I've been happy with everything about Vision Hyundai--sales, maintenance, customer service. They deliver on what they say they will deliver. And I really like my 2016 Elantra GT. I got it last August when I traded in my Kia Soul. While the Soul was fun to drive, it didn't do well in the snow. In contrast, the Elantra does GREAT in the snow.
