I took my 9 year old to this store for an eye exam & 2 pairs of glasses. The exam was fine, ordering the glasses was fine. I requested to pick up the order at the store that was closest to my home in Wescosville PA. They said that was fine. Today I got an email saying one pair is ready at the Airport Road location. The other pairs location is a mystery. Since I had asked for pick up at the Krocks Road store I tried calling both locations so I could schedule the pick up. Both stores had a machine answer and I held on both stores for 20 minutes each just to speak to a human being, which never happened! Then I tried the website virtual assistant which is another machine that gave me the run around but no answer. I asked that machine to give me a HUMAN BEING and the machine said "Let me get someone else to help you" Nobody ever came on! read more

Never again! We waited 3 weeks for them to call and say "oops sorry we cannot make your glasses". And during COVID, we cannot get through to speak to a human being so now a week has gone by and we still do not have our insurance canceled so we can go elsewhere. I have to update - The regional representative called me and we had a long discussion of how this could have been handled better and how the in store experience could have been better. In a pinch last week I had to go to the location as they were the only optical store open within driving distance and my frame had broken. Very expensive and a Gimmick! I took a family member in with insurance, her frames were covered and the exam was free . They wanted to charge her $280.00 for just the lenses! The first time she went also had a bad experience. The prescription was incorrect, she couldn't see out of her glasses, took them back and they didn't even adjust them. Just bad all around. I feel like they are all about sale instead of service. Needless to say she has called around and got cheaper prices elsewhere. read more

Needed a replacement pair of glasses, they do take my insurance but keep saying someone else owns the rights to it, which is nonsense. Lost my glasses 3 weeks ago, horrible customer service, over priced, cheaper to order online. They wanted over $200 to glasses you can purchase online out of pocket for $25. Buy one get one at half off, what a joke. When you need glasses right away stay away from this place. 2 weeks to get a pair, pretty lame. I have reported these people to my insurance for unethical activity. read more

I already had my son's prescription so I don't know about the doctor but the service was AMAZING!!! I had been to Eyeland in Whitehall for a pair of glasses and after almost 2 months and a lot of lies from Eyeland staff (including the owner) I went to Visionwork, 100% the opposite experience. Visionwork staff was friendly, informative, patient with my special needs son they said they would call within 7 days when glasses came in they called in 5 days on a Sunday. Even the other customers seemed happy who would have thought a visit to Visionworks would be such a pleasant experience. PS they had no idea of our previous experience at Eyeland this was just their exceptional customer service. My whole family has switched eyewear companies! read more

I called today to see if they can put a rush on my glasses, since they are in but the lab has to work on them. I will be down in and around that area tonight and she was so rude, said no they will not be done until Monday. I mean come on.. they are in. NO ONE called to tell me that they pushed back the date, and the whole "we will call you when they are ready" thing urked me. Needless to say, I will not be returning here. read more

In the first week of February I called to schedule my eye exam for April. That is when it is due. The person I spoke to told me to wait till April. Today I get a message to schedule my appointment. I went online to schedule and couldn't find any appointments. I read where it said[if you have a onset of flashers or floaters]which I do,and can not find an appointment within 24 hours call the office. So I called the office and whomever answered seems not to know the policy because after explaining the problem she still said I can't get in till May 1st.I am in the process of finding another place to go to. Im very disappointed. Need to train their employees better. First person should've scheduled me when I called and all of this would've been avoided. read more

I visited the visionworks works on airport rd a few times already..I seen the eye doctor she was very nice..and got my eyes right. The sales persons I dealt with on all three occasions was very helpful and nice. I got a pair of shades done there..was not happen with the turn around time..but other than that I was please..and the price was ressonable..they said a week turn around time..if I get them earlier..I'll say best store in the valley...my opinion read more

We are repeat customers at this location and wouldn't dream of going elsewhere. We have worked with Heidi,who is patient and personable and incredibly skilled in all aspects of her job. She has an amazing ability to help pick perfect frames...she knows the huge inventory very well, is current with fashion and trends, and is able to offer choices that are totally complimentary to the wearer. Our family vision insurance plan is not the best, but Heidi is always able to compare our benefits to current store specials and give us the best deal. This store has a HUGE selection of frames, the staff is professional and courteous, and glasses are usually ready in just an hour! I have used this store not only for myself but also for my high school and college aged kids. We recommend this location wholeheartedly. read more

Charged incorrect amount, charged for contact lenses fitting when they never did one. Called to speak to a manager, they took a message and call was never returned. Still trying to get it worked out with my insurance. Very annoying. read more

My husband and I were very pleased with the whole process from start to finish. We went for eye exams and new glasses after procrastinating for the last 4 years. Heidi and the staff were most helpful in our decision making process, which is usually very difficult for us. As a result, my husband and I are very pleased with our new frames! Sat and waited 20 minutes for help picking out glasses. Employees did not even acknowledge my presence during the whole time I was there. It was 2pm on a Wednesday, hardly rush-hour. I literally must have been invisible. This is the second time at the Airport Road location this has happened to me. I walked out and will never step foot in a Vision"Doesn't"Works again. This, on the heels of waiting an hour at their Quakertown location last week in order to check out. How a business can function while thumbing their customers is beyond me but it is the driving force people flock to web ordering. read more

Extremely negative experience. They try to upsell all kinds of add-ons that are not necessary. Question all add-ons. They also do not honor their "Money Back Guarantee" that is clearly stated on the receipt envelope. If there is a problem with your new glasses INSIST on getting a refund if it is due to you. We were told that they never credit if there is a problem with their glasses. We insisted that that was against the written policy. They pretended to call their manager to get approval, and we were able to get an adjustment. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I am afraid that there are a lot of customers that are getting overcharged and not aware. ALSO, do not settle for a lame explanation that a refund or credit is not applicable. I will also be notifying my insurance company of the business practices of this organization. read more
