I was a new patient, so I was unfamiliar with their location. The shop was inside a mall. I arrived 1 minute late and Alondra at the front desk says I need to be rescheduled. I let her know I just got off work and had trouble finding their location inside the mall as the directory doesn't have them listed. She had no care in the world to help accommodate me (also a healthcare worker). I asked for her to check with the provider. The provider (Meridith Schneider) tells me she has plans after she sees the last patient and literally walks away!? Keep in mind these conversations took 20 minutes of telling me I am not a priority. Meridith seems to have an issue treating people equally. Meredith....we are all human and we should all matter and be treated equally!!! Shame on you Merideth for your unprofessionalism and treatment of a lost customer. SHame! If you don't like youre job treating people who dont look like you leave !! read more

The staff seems disorganized. They kept confusing me with other customers and asked me about my contacts, but I have never worn contacts. They were confused by my glasses and acted as if they weren't prescription glasses, but they are the glasses I got from this exact Visionworks 1 year prior. When I received my glasses, the frame was already scratched with a deep, visible gouge on the front. The online appointment system apparently does not work, you have to make the appointment, confirm it online, then call the store anyway. My boyfriend set an appointment at 10:30 online only to find out the store doesn't open until 11:00, then wouldn't acknowledge the appointment because he didn't call them on the phone. The doctor is, however, pleasant and informative. Although he was obviously busy, he didn't seem put out by any questions I asked. He's the only reason I'm rating 3 stars. read more

Very helpful for those without insurance. The doctor, Meghan Teske, was so friendly, I felt completely relaxed. She was fast and efficient, and if my new glasses are anything to go by, accurate. I must admit I'd been having a bad day, and was feeling grumpy, and unhappy with the current glasses styles (they have a great selection, it's the current fashions I was decrying). I was less than happy. But the man who helped me, TJ, was so friendly and understanding and helpful, he turned my bad mood around, and he helped me find something I could be happy with. (Choosing glasses is a big deal - you have to wear them with everything.) When I returned to pick up my glasses, TJ helped me again and was so friendly and knowledgeable, he got me fitted right away. The whole process usually feels like a hassle, but I didn't feel that way here. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend. read more

I visited with my girlfriend. She needed lenses made. We begin the eye exam, and the optometrist was downing a monster energy with his mask off in the room next to my girlfriend. He then asks her a bunch of irrelevant questions and proceeded to touch her leg and create face to face contact during the pupil exam. Even before CIVID, that is unacceptable behavior. I've seen these before and had them done. The optometrist never got that close to me or anyone else in my experience. His mask was 2cm from hers for the whole procedure while he made some awkward comments about where she was from. After, my girlfriend was very uncomfortable and we wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. She felt violated. Do not go alone to get an exam if you are a woman. read more

I did not feel welcome. I was there early as requested for my appointment. I was greeted by a woman that made me feel like I shouldn't be there. I waited for almost an hour and they called someone else back when I was told I was next. I left work to get to the appointment and was so frustrated that I left without being seen. I will not recommend going here to anyone. Waiting is not ok when you have a scheduled appointment. Staff was too busy doing other duties and not working with the customers or patients that were there. Felt very unwelcome and Kayla the new manager doesn't know how to handle the situation. Epic and colossal failure coupled with arrogance, discrimination and total incompetence. Last thing you want is these clowns touching your eyes. We made an appointment for our annual exam a year ago - literally. We received ongoing emails and texts throughout the year confirming the appointment - including three emails this week and one the night before confirming the appointment and time (yes, we did click the confirm button each time). When we showed up ten minutes early (after driving over an hour from Vail), we were told by the guy in the store, who was dressed more like he was going to the farm for the day than a medical office, told us that they did not have our reservation and that their system doesn't work right. He would not accommodate our issues, instead instructing us to leave and come back later to talk to the manager. So we left and called back to talk to the manager, Carissa (sp). She made the whole situation worse and was literally incompetent and dismissive. She kept reading from her little training manual that she could not help us because she "could not cancel the appointment of another customer" which, comically, was exactly what she did to us. She was simply no leader, no manager and has obviously never taken a customer service class in her life. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. read more

Dr. Begal took his time with my exam, was funny, made me very comfortable, and explained everything to me. Alexandra was amazing, helped me pick out frames, walked me through all of my options, and was very knowledgeable. She was also very friendly and made me laugh. Was fast to get us in and done. However Chad K. Could use some more training when it comes to knowledge of how things are ran let alone the cost of everything. When a family comes in on strict budget and you see a majority of everything they are doing is relatively FREE, the best time to inform them about prices is before rather then after the services are rendered. Especially when they ask before hand. I'm not one to care if you got to stop and look for prices but you didn't even do that. It wasn't my mistake but rather then remedy the issue due to your lack of knowledge or comprehensive skills you pretty much employ a "Bait and Switch" tactic. Not a good look my friend especially when the customer comes from a sales background. Hopefully this is heard by higher powers and this is addressed. If you as the associate of the company, falsely quote something whether it's a mistake or just under educated about the services it is not the customers issue to pay let alone take the hit due to your fault. Stand up and take responsibility of your actions!!! I was gonna make this our new place to bring our family of 5, 4 or which require eye glasses but I think we would be treated much better else where. read more
