    Egg and bacon taco
    Soseh P.

We wanted a quick breakfast as we were heading out of town, and we saw that they had a sign saying they served breakfast all day long, so we tried to give this place a try. I got the Chilaquiles with green sauce and scrambled eggs, and honestly, it was not at all flavorful. I had to add their green salsa on top. It just came with some baked beans and a big portion of sour cream, and that's about it. Usually, with tequila, they serve pico de gallo or a side of guac or something like that, but this had nothing. My husband tried their breakfast burrito with chorizo, and he said that was OK. It was good for that spot. I also got one egg and bacon taco, and that was very typical with a one-slice of cooked bacon bowl and some scrambled eggs. Will I go back to the establishment for breakfast? Probably not. I didn't go in the restaurant itself so I can't really speak about the ambience however we did to drive-through they do have one window that you order and then you have to pull up to another one to pick it up so it's pretty standard drive-through system.

Well, I will tell you I got my order to go because I had been doing yardwork and wasn't in the best condition to sit down and eat, but I was definitely jealous of everyone who had the free chips and salsa at their table. Looked amazing. I ordered two ground beef tacos, one corn and one flour and the chicken enchilada salad. Wasn't sure what I was going to get so I thought I would try a couple things that I knew were safe. The corn tortilla tacos were not crispy, which is what I was hoping for so I would just stick with the flower next time Since I had my order to go. I was able to put that taco on my flat griddle and crisp it up a bit. The salad was definitely not what I was expecting. I thought it would be chicken with onions and peppers or something along the lines. I believe it said it had onions on the menu. However, it was a great salad. It had chicken, which was really good tomatoes and avocado. Very tasty but I could've use some cilantro or something on there so I dumped the green salsa on top and everything was delicious. Inside I am so happy to see they have a great beer selection! So I will be going back for those chips, salsa and a beer. My next visit. The place is small inside but clean the people inside were very nice and I think it's going to be a great place for me to go and catch up on my Spanish again because I am super rusty. Thank you for being patient. Sorry, just realized I did not take a photo of my tacos.

Huge bowl of menudo - love their generous toppings and tortillas

We came back for another round of mini tacos today and wow, they are consistent with the quality of food. We ordered lengua (cow tongue) and el pastor mini taco plate this time and I am in love with their el pastor. Juicy meat and it comes with pineapple. Love the generous topping of fresh cilantro and onion. If you sit inside, they offer chips and salsa too. Sketchy looking hole in the wall with many phone-in pick up orders but we often opt for sit down dinner here.

First, the staff is just starting to become straight up unfriendly and rude. They don't greet you. They don't smile. They don't look at you. The building itself has issues. We've had a lot of rain recently and their roof has many leaks. Lastly, the food used to be really good. Recently, it's become ok to even bad at times. I think I've gonna find other places until they fix the quality of their food and address their staff.

A very quaint restaurant that probably seats no more than 12 people. Being our first visit, I wanted to try some of the more challenging items that I love and truly seeing how good this place is. My husband always orders simple breakfast tacos and I had the menudo which it probably the best I've had by far. I was pleasantly surprised. I did order a few tacos to go like the Barbacoa, asada pastor and carne asada tacos. I will have to update this review once I've tried them. Their green salsa is very tasty, I loved it. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes, thank you.

Go to spot for breakfast tacos because they are served ALL day. Fresh made tortillas, fully loaded, and served made to order. Plenty of seating inside and El patron also have a drive-through. Service is super fast and everyone is always friendly. I'm always in and out and under 30 minutes.

Burrito on left is from El Patron, on the right, from Los Braseros. If you can, go to Los Braseros, El Patron is crap.

Crappy burrito, looks like they rolled it just fine but then someone wrapped it open and sat on it, then they squished it back into a tube shape, packaged it, then gave it to me. This was the worst burrito I have ever eaten in all my life.

    Migas Breakfast Taco

I've been eating breakfast tacos from here for over a year now and it's my go to spot. I rarely take pictures when I eat here cause i'm usually starving when I get it and always get takeout. Migas taco on corn tortillas with sliced avocado is what I get every time. I get a side of their potatoes too depending on how hungry I am. I love their migas as it is super tasty. I like the way they cook their potatoes too. I have also had their burrito which I like because of the price and customization options. Their machacado is also a good taco protein if you are avoiding pork, however sometimes it can be fatty chunks which is not my favorite. After having bacon in my burritos from here several times, I will say I don't like the way they cook their bacon. It's pretty fatty and flimsy while also being thick. It gives a vibe as if it's cooked in an overcrowded pan or slightly undercooked. Sometimes it even gives off leftover vibes. And personally in a taco i'm not paying for leftover bacon. Their salsa verde is delicious and I used to get it all the time but it gave me terrible acid reflux and I just started using sriracha at home instead. Overall I can recommend their Migas tacos, burritos, and potatoes. They have good breakfast prices, and a variety of menu items. I don't like how each customization runs up the price even for the little things but I understand. Sometime between last year and this year their cheese changed and it's not as melty or tasty but it's still fine. If you love migas it's worth a try in my book.

Set up like a fast food restaurant but has table service. I did like the heart of what the restaurant provides. Being my first time here, I didn't know what to expect. I was met with smiles and perhaps a little bit of confusion since I don't speak Spanish. I know, I live in Texas. However, the menu is in English and has pictures too. This really helped me. I felt like it was home. The food was delicious. I ordered the El Patron plate. It came with 3 taco, rice, and refried beans. I ordered an Al Pastor, an Asada, and a chicken. I was asked if I was ok with cilantro and flour or corn tortillas. Therefore, the tacos I ordered were flour filled with meat and topped with cilantro. There was a lime wedge for each taco on the plate. The spices on the Al Pastor were really good. The asada and chicken were a little more bland, but the salsa provided made them just as good. The rice was good and flaky. There was nothing special about it except it was fresh and tasted normal. The refried beans had a better flavor than many other restaurants offering them. The chips were good as well, but I did love the salsa. It had a hot spicy kick that just hit the spot for me. The cost of food was very reasonable. So if you are in Cedar Park and have that taco crave, then go over to El Patron and enjoy. I really liked it!

I did ask to try aleida's sauce, which many people liked on yelp, but we liked their green sauce the most! Overall, very cute and colorful restaurant; loved all the decor. The outdoor patio, where we sat, was covered and nice, until it started pouring hard outside. Not a super authentic latin restaurant. No complimentary chips and salsa. My taco wasn't worth more than $5, tbh, and we paid close to $9..given it was shrimp, but we've had much better shrimp tacos elsewhere for less. I'll be honest and say that my partner had come here before and ordered a pastor taco and I took one look at it and couldn't get myself to eat it. It looked inedible. Something that was very different about this menudo was that is was entirely meat and broth/juice there was 0 sign of hominey which is something I've never seen before. I love for my menudo to have lots of meat and some hominey but the fact that there was absolutely no hominey made me unsatisfied. I give the menudo overall a 3.5/10 I probably won't get that again here. The flautas were a 10/10 they were perfectly crispy all around, the meat was seasoned and the flautas definitely had a great portion of meat. The chicken flautas came smothere in cream and queso fresco as well as lettuce and tomato which all tasted fresh and went really well with those. The red and green salsa were really good and flavorful. The red one was much spicier than the green both complimented the flautas. Fruit cup was good and made fresh to order. The carne asada burrito with potato's and cheese was HUGE, very flavorful, a hint of spice and had lots of meat! 9.5/10 highly recommended only thing that could've brought it to a ten would be if the potatoes had some sort of crispiness to them, they were super soft and I prefer a crust-like outer layer on my potatoes. Beans were good, love that they put cheese in them just like my family does. The rice was good, I did add a little salt to it but overall good.
