After 10 minutes, the exam was complete and results were sent to the DMV. He even suggested a place you could get the renewal on the same day! So I've never done a SMOG check in my life before so I wasn't really sure what I needed to do. So I go on Yelp and look for a good SMOG check place and Vista Test Only Center shows up. I drive over and park in a parking spot there and I wasn't sure what to do. I walk inside and there was a guy inside. I told him I needed a SMOG check and he told me to pull the car around to the front and he'll be done with me in like 5-10 minutes. So he plugs in his computer and he said to just wait. Few minutes pass and he says everything passes. The guy was really friendly and kind. The only thing I didn't like was that he was smoking right in front of me and when there were other customers he just left his cigarette burning next to his computer. The whole place just stunk of cigarette smoke. The price paid is very fair. Make sure you go onto their website and use their coupon. It says you need to have a mobile or print copy and when I asked "can I use the coupon?" He said kindly "Of course" and didn't ask to see it. I was able to get my SMOG done, paid with credit card (there was no extra fee for using a card), and off I went. Total out the door was like 45 dollars exact. If you look at the wall, it says a smog check is like 50 dollars so if you don't mention the coupon, you'll be paying around 60 since the DMV fee is like 10 dollars. I would give it 5 stars if I didn't have to deal with cigarette smoke. read more

Quick and efficient! For a smog testing center, you really couldn't ask for more. I was referred here by someone that had previously praised Greg for his friendliness and speed. He definitely met expectations during my visit. When I pulled up, Greg (I later confirmed it was him) immediately greeted me and said that there was one car ahead of me, but they should be finished in about 5 minutes. He asked that I park on the side and pull in once their inspection was completed. During my smog test, I saw that Greg had a few new customers pull up. He was communicative with them and also kept me updated that he should be finishing up soon. Tip: Mention that you have a coupon - you can google it, but he didn't check mine. The cost of the inspection ended up being $34.25 + the smog certificate fee + tax. My total was $45. It almost took me as long to write this review compared to the test!
