From setting up a free estimate to clean up after an amazing job at a really good price, this crew rocked. Ace service in providing their paperwork (insurance info and licensing all checked out) and the actual tree trimming and removal. In a little over two hours the 8 man crew removed a 40ft dense Monterey pine and did a beautiful trim and lace of a massive 50 ft pine. All within very limited confines of narrow tract housing fencing-- no roof or window damage to the house or neighbor property. So far it looks like the standing pine has benefitted from the thining, crown was left intact and the skirt was brought up 13 feet. What I didn't count on was summer temperatures in the midst of January. That's SD winter for you. I hope it cools to assist the healing pine wounds. read more

Highly impressed! I would hire Vista Tree Service company everyday. They showed up with eight men..two trucks complete with all accoutrements for trimming large tall trees. Grinders etc...I had Seven palms in total. They trimmed all with exception to one that they removed plus grinded the stump. They even trimmed the small robellini palms & bird of paradise! They cleaned up the entire rear and front yard after they were finished. Quick, clean, easy. The men were all very polite with attention to detail. The owner Mike was great to work with as well. We have had this service several times. They are courteous, knowledgeable, and the workers are skilled. We always get at least 3 estimates and they are always on the lower end. We had a large job here in Fallbrook and they did all that we asked and listened and cared about how we wanted the oaks trimmed. March 12, 2019 we had 40 small, medium and large trees cut. Price was great! We had another bid for 3 times the price. They were here at 8 am and were done at 1:30 pm. Quick, professional, and did a great job of cleaning up. We have used them for over 10 years. I don't give many yelp's, because it is not easy to find quality work and a great price. We had four exceptionally tall pine trees in our back yard that were overgrown due to several years of growth, and needed to be pruned, laced and thinned. Vista Tree Service was one of three companies with certified arborists that I called to obtain a quote for this job. They outbid the other two companies. After we accepted the quote, the scheduling process was very professional and seamless. On the day of the job, the crew arrived during the window of time scheduled, reviewed the area, covered up any landscaping lights that could be damaged by falling limbs, and began working. Absolutely the best company there is. I have a difficult yard with a steep terrain and very, very old eucalyptus- probably 80 to 100 years old. Terrible!!! very unprofessional! We were looking forward to having our trees trimmed and scheduled for two weeks ago and it was cancelled with no notice and we had to call ?!!!! The young lady in the office seemed apologetic and so we rescheduled for today and were told we would get a reminder the day before, we did not receive any phone call! Today our appointment was scheduled for 8am. Again no one showed up or called - had to call the office and again the young lady apologized and just seemed as though our business was unimportant and told us that they would be here about noon?! We were not comfortable with the disregard So we called Mike ? The man supposedly in charge. Mike was very short with us and pretty much told us that either we take them at the time they could make it or he suggested that we cancel?!!! Unprofessional! very bad business practices! We had our 6 bigger trees trimmed a couple of weeks ago. They did a great job. They did show up a bit later than estimated but they worked very efficiently to get the job done quick. Vista Tree Service has been trimming our trees for over 10 years now. They are highly knowledgeable and dependable. Mr. Vaca is a licensed Arborist and accomplished horticulturalist. His extensive background has saved our trees from diseases such as bark beetles that commonly attack pine trees, boring into the inner bark of branches and trunks. His yearly check-ups include tree lacing, and shaping. He also takes the time to check to see if the trees are getting enough water and that they are getting the proper nutrients/fertilizers. I can't say enough about the care and dedication that Vista Tree Service provides. They ALWAYS make their appointments and are great about communicating if they are running late.
