He came out and ran his leak detection equipment and found it was under our recently redone driveway. He told us how much it would cost and that he could take care of it. He did. He dug down through the concrete , doing as little damage as possible, and even had to come back the next day. It was a much harder and longer job than he expected because of angles and corroded pipe but he said he had quoted a price and wouldn't charge more. The man knows is honest and knows his stuff! Vladimir is the V in Vit Leak Detection and he is a true professional. We had a small leak in our water main 3 feet under our driveway and it was puddling up in a few different spots. Vladimir used his specialty detection equipment and found the leak, excavated the driveway to exposed the broken pipe, and repaired it. This was a lot of work but he got it all done in one visit and I think for a very fair price. I called Vit Plumbing at 7:30 a.m. At 9:30 a.m. the owner arrived to assess our slab floor hot water leak. It had been going on for 3 weeks while we waited for my home warranty company to get me an estimate from the plumbing company they sent out a week earlier. I should have called Vit immediately. After giving me an estimate 75% less than AHS received from their contracted plumbing company, Vit returned the same afternoon to do the job, and within two hours we had hot water again. Worst service possible, did not solve my problem, was terribly rude and tried to intimidate me by yelling at me and getting in my face and kept telling me I was wrong. This man made me fear for my safety and I was hesitant to write this review as a result. He came by and I showed him the issue with a ton of water piling in an area around my pool. He didn't use any type of sophisticated tools that would actually detect a leak, he just poked around with a stick and said "there's no leak, just reduce your sprinkler time." Luckily I had been intimately involved in the sprinkler install just a few weeks prior and I knew that there was a leak because it was just too much water. After 5 minutes he said no leak and asked me to pay him $350. I insisted that there was a leak and he got in my face yelling at me telling me I had to pay him. I told him I would pay if he could prove there wasn't a leak. It really started getting heated and I felt grateful there was a ring camera near me to capture this. In the end he got frustrated, threw his arms up and left. I spent more time in the yard and decided to close all the sprinklers on that line to see where the pressure would go and if that could detect the leak. Sure enough, in the exact area where I told him there was a leak a ton of water spit up and we found it. We replaced it and haven't had any issues yet. Vlad = Magic! We had water leaking into our garage when one would take shower in an adjacent bathroom. Our bathroom layout was making it extremely challenging to make a cut and triage since our shower would be on the opposite side of our kitchen cabinets, which would mean that our kitchen granite countertop and cabinets would need to be removed before any plumber could do anything. We had another local plumber take a look before and he left suggesting that when we were ready to take down the kitchen cabinets I can give him a call since he couldn't see any immediate problem and there was no opportunity for him to look for a leakage. This of course would cost us thousands of dollars. Disappointed, we wanted to give is one more try and I luckily stumbled upon Vit Leak Detection and Plumbing on Yelp and decided to give Vladimir a call. Vladimir must have spent more than an hour on the phone with me trying to understand the issue and my bathroom's configuration, which alone was impressive. He also was coming to the same conclusion initially that it might be tricky given the layout but still decided to come down and see for himself. Upon his visit, he immediately got to work and started ruling out potential issues and observed an issue with the bath tub spout which was leaking and the putty behind it was cracking. He recommended based on his experience that this could be a cause of that water leak and quickly grabbed a new spout and properly caulked and sealed the connections. Voila!! Vladamir did a great job of detecting our leak and fixing. We've had a couple of leaks over the years and always come to find that the way our pipes were originally set up causes issues with easily finding and fixing the leak without some sort of major overhaul. However unlike many other places we used in the past, he was extremely thorough and knowledgeable and he worked harder than anyone I've seen before to not only find the leak, but fix it before the end of the day and do so in a way that would be most cost effective for us. I am happy to report that the ratings given by other reviewers are not exaggerated! I was a bit skeptical but more hopeful and I am glad I called Vald to check out my water leak issue. This was a major leak situation in my irrigation main line branching off from the water main and most of the pipe is buried under concrete pavings. Vlad came and immediately started investigating with his instrument. He found the leak in less than 10min and fortunately it was partly out in the muddy area near the irrigation station valves but was still pretty tight for accessibility as part of the pipe was under the concrete. Vlad even suggested to get it done by landscaper guys as they might be cheaper than regular plumber but seeing how knowledgeable Vlad was in his understanding on how the PVC pipe connections needed to be mended to fix the leak properly, I decided to hire him to do the fix as well and I am so glad for that decision. You can see him working in the tight space of the enclosure which also had the pool filter and pump installed. He did an excellent job - took him a good 3+ hours to fix it but he worked patiently and diligently and even waited an hour for the pipe joint compound to dry out before testing the fix. Vlad was also very reasonable in his pricing - he did not bump up his pricing to take advantage of the situation, he didn't charge me extra because of my location or the size of my house - he was sincere and professional - a quality that's hard to find these days. If you are looking for an honest and no BS person who knows his stuff, look no further. I needed to check my outdoor irrigation system for leaks as some water was constantly flowing. My concern was underground leak. In approximately 20 mins from the time Vlad arrived, he was able to get down to the root cause. Thankfully he was able to help identify the problem not being a leak but a bad irrigation valve. Others before him tried to charge me service fees just to drive out, or BS inflated leak detection costs that didnt make sense. I would give VIT Plumbing a 10 stars if I could. We did not know we had a leak in our water main line in front of the house for a week. We thought the sprinkler had was broken (and it was) and fixed it ourselves. But a puddle of water got bigger every single day and we could not tell what the cause was. Our water meter was completely submerged under the water. That is when we started calling around for quotes and earliest appointment. The best we could get was an appointment 2 weeks out (yikes!!! who could wait water leaking badly for 2 weeks+?) and pricey quote for just a leak detection. Luckily we also found VIT Plumbing on Yelp, and gave a last ditch effort to get an early appointment. It was a charm. Vladimir, owner of VIT, gave me an appointment 2 days out with much better quote. Needless to say, we took it. We were so relieved. But Vlad came out 1 day earlier on the next day instead. He detected where the leak is right away and he said we are very lucky it is right next to the concrete sidewalk and not underneath. It turns out he is also a plumber (duh! on us) and could do the fix and gave us a very fair quote. We gave him a nod. Vlad is a hardworking nonsense person that gets the job done. Had a pin hole break under the slab in our master. After he identified the location I broke out the concrete section myself and exposed the break. Called Vlad back to do the repair work and he pointed out that the copper runs installed under the slab in the 1980s where failing. The previous owners and contractor that did a remodel did not leave sufficient cover between the concrete and copper pipes. Also the pipes crossed without adequate clearance causing further damage. Long story short Vlad repaired the pinhole (a temporary fix) and let me think about how I wanted to address the bigger issues. I plated the hole in the conc slab and formulated my plan. I completed the repairs myself by running new conduit and PEX under the slab and into the master. I saved thousands of dollars by using Vlad. No pressure to up sell, and he had the patience to allow me to do so of the work myself. Most plumbers wont do that. read more

My kitchen sink was leaking for over a week when my property manager referred someone to come over and fix it, they sent Vladimir. He was unprofessional!!' First it took him over 4 days from being notified to come look at my leak. When he arrived I asked if he had a vac to help clean up the water that was sitting under the sink, he said no. ( not a big deal I'll have to just use more towels) He then asked me something else about the sink and then he began to scold me "that it is not his responsibility to clean up after me".. I never asked him once to clean up after my mess. I asked him once if he had a shock vac. He began to get very upset and say " you know what I'm not doing this work" he left and then began to yell at me in my driveway. I didn't know anything about his company or who he worked for. I got up in the morning to water flowing down my driveway. Vlad came over and identified the leak about 5 feet below the concrete driveway, and went through the concrete to reach the pipe. The pipe was a "poly" pipe that does not have repair-parts available. Vlad figured out how to fix it. Stay away. Sloppy, shoddy work. Left a mess and drilled a hole in our concrete driveway for no reason. When I asked if it would be filled Vlad said yes, and ignored my request. When I asked again, he told me it would fill with dirt and walked over to pebbles in my yard and grabbed a handful. He poured them into the hole he he drilled in the driveway. I was shocked. Never found the leak in the front yard. Didn't clean up the mess he left on the sidewalk either. I ended up sweeping the dirt and rocks in front of Vlad back into my yard. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Vlad. A week ago, I started hearing water running behind my walls and a quick meter check confirms that water is running and I have a leak somewhere. Not being able to pinpoint the location and not noticing any water damage, I called Vit Plumbing to schedule a leak detection. Turns out, I have multiple leaks under my slab foundation in the kitchen. Vlad offered many options with varying price ranges, but was great about a recommendation from his experience. He made sure we understood all the implications of said options, but ultimately did not pressure us either way. He even encouraged us to get multiple quotes from other plumbers. I could immediately tell Vlad was very experienced with his work and felt comfortable with him doing the repairs. The repairs themselves were top-notch, excellent craftsmanship, and Vlad made sure I understood everything he was doing and looped me in whenever there was a decision to be made. We ended up rerouting both the cold and hot lines through the attic and I felt so bad someone had to crawl into such a tight space, but Vlad did the work without hesitation. The previous owners of my house also did shoddy plumbing work and the manifolds weren't where they were suppose to be. This turned out to be a huge headache as there was no straightforward access behind the cabinets. I don't know how Vlad did it, but he got the job done despite all these challenges. I called Vit Leak Detection yesterday late morning. Set up an appointment with Vladimir to come out to my elderly parents house where a copper irrigation line had been leaking near a pool deck for that afternoon. At noon I received a call from Vladimir asking if I could meet him at the home four hours early as he had just finished another job! Vladimir came exactly in 25 minutes as he said, and within 20 had located not one but two leaks in the copper line and noticed two faulty bib valves too boot! Within the hour, he had dug out the leaking line, soldered on new fittings and had replaced the two, leaking hose bibs!! He warranted his work as well.
