The masseuse also was answering the phone and the door in the middle of it. To top it off, we had a loyalty stamp card for a free massage after 10 massages that was halfway stamped, and they said they no longer stamp them. I've been coming here for the past few years and after this last visit I'll never return or refer anyone to patronize this establishment Last week I came as usual around 7pm for a 90 min massage. The lady at the front said 60 min would be better so I took it. Because of my frequent visits I had points accrued which she said I couldn't use so i just paid the $60. This place is not worth the money and I truly have no idea why people are giving high reviews. The only reason I came here was because I bought a Groupon and I didn't do my due diligence before buying the Groupon to check Yelp. Had I done so, the reviews would had deterred me from purchasing. I never once could relax because the masseuse I had was so aggressive and other employees in the front were talking so loud for the duration of my service. The masseuse was aggressive not with the pressure of the massage but how he would move his hands over me or use the towels on me. When he massaged my head at some point it just seemed like his fingers were slapping my head. It's a dingy hole in the wall that is not worth the money. I don't have sensitive skin, but their towels were absolutely horrendous. So old and hard, on top of how the masseuse was aggressive it just was hurting and wasn't worth the money. Outside seems kinda sketchy but honestly, same vibe as any massage place in a strip mall... inside is interesting, not the decor I would choose, but I guess to each their own. Updating this review as my recent experience hasn't been as great. The business offers Groupon but then puts guests in a bit of an uncomfortable situation letting them know to pay there and not buy the Groupons and they don't let you use Groupons on weekends. Just offer the same price as the Groupon as your standard price and this problem will be solved. It's uncomfortable having to explain yourself why you bought a Groupon if the business offers it. The guy they have for the massage seems extremely inexperienced. My boyfriend went and he left the door open leading to him hearing everything going on outside and in the lobby. He asked three times to please close the door with no result. The female therapist is good. She was able to get me scheduled for later that evening and also allowed my partner to come in and honored the Groupon price for him. We had very relaxing 60min massages in separate rooms. My foot massage was at 11:30am, I used the YELP check-in (which clearly doesn't specify which massage it could be applied to) the lady at the counter said it was only for body massages. Massage therapists are supposed to press into your muscles, not your bones. I got an old lady who doesn't speak much English, which is perfectly fine as long as the massage is good. It turned out that she is untrained. The whole time was not massaging, it was putting oil on your skin and give it a few rubs and pushes. It was a frustrating experience, there were moments that I wanted to get up and leave.
