I needed a quote for a panel upgrade on a duplex. They didn't have availability for days. Got an apt and He was 30mins late. I texted and called. I left since it's a rental and I didn't revive any communication. He calls and we agree to meet back there in a hour. He's late again. Showed up with his entire family (not a problem) except the fact that they had a really sour attitude. He was asking me questions about things that he should know... I felt like he was confused and struggling to know what to do. It was honestly a little awkward. I had an HVAc technician out at the same time and he interjected multiple times to answer question that the vitality electrician couldn't answer. Showed up in very casual clothing. Didn't have a professional attitude nor the ability to answer my questions in a straight forward manner. I stayed through the apt but I can tell you right now that I have no intention of working with them. By the end of it, I'm leaving but he parked right behind my car (despite there being other places to park). I had already been there and hour waiting for him and had things to do. So I waited for him to buckle the family in before I could leave. They lacked. Any maybe it was just this one off chance and he had a bad day, either way, it's a no for me. read more

Had a new GFCI outlet installed in our bathroom for an additional plug access, which was ultimately piggybacked off of another GFCI outlet in the next-wall bathroom. Small amount of drywall work that needed to be done. When I asked Alex about stabilizing the drywall pieces (due to not aligning with studs), he was happy to stabilize with pieces of pallet wood I had in our backyard. Very clean job, laid out sheets to pick up drywall dust. Polite, courteous to property. Felt very professional from start to finish. Last Fall my wife and I decided to put our home on the market in hopes of selling it and purchasing a new one. Unfortunately, as our home was placed on the market, the mortgage rates skyrocketed no longer making this a good decision. However, in most disappointments there is a lesson & a blessing. The lesson that we learned was to be content with the home that we have and make some upgrades. During an open house, a potential buyer shared with our realtor that our home seemed too dark. Our home faces away from the sun a majority of the day, which is a blessing during the blistering hot Sacramento summers; however, it leads to having a home that doesn't receive an abundance of natural lighting. Therefore, we rely on lots of artificial lighting mainly in the form of floor lamps. Unfortunately, the lighting that's casted from floor lamps does not travel well, leading to dark spots. To remedy the lighting issue, my wife and I decided to have recessed lighting installed in the upstairs hallway and bedrooms. Previously we utilized Vitality Electric to install recessed lighting in our living room and kitchen. When I contacted Vitality, I spoke with a friendly employee who assisted me with scheduling a free estimate. Two days later Victor (an employee that I worked with previously) stopped by our home to provide the estimate. After accepting the estimate, the contractors came out less than a week later for installation. After confirming the placement of the lights and the brightness settings, they began working. We had a total of 16 light canisters installed (four in three bedrooms, one in our primary bedroom shower, two in our hallway, and one in the downstairs entryway), and the job was essentially finished in one day. Aside from the well-executed installation, the contractors did a great job of covering our furniture + cleaning any loose particles. Just like our previous experience, Vitality Electric continues to be efficient while providing superb customer service. We had used them in the past and they were great (reason for the extra star). We found ourselves needing more work done and decided to give them a call. We spoke to their "office" and discussed what we were looking for and scheduled an appointment for 11am the following week. On the day of, we received a call at 9:30am. The electrician asked what we needed done, so we reiterated everything we had already told the office the week before. He asked when we would be available and I responded that we were scheduled for 11am so we will be available then. He stated he would not be able to come at that time but would call back. He continued by asking for a picture of the panel. I responded that we would be happy to send follow up pictures once he confirmed that he could actually attend our scheduled appointment...he then said "oh can you just have your husband send it?". Inferring that I was incapable of assisting...? I called to have someone come out to give me a estimate on 3 outside lights that needed to be hardwired. A nice guy named Viktor came out , looked at what was needed and gave me a quote. I then received the quote via email where I replied and agreed to the price . I then signed the contract electronically. The date was set for the work to be done. Installed a GFI plug in my Master Water Closet for a Bidet. Their primary work was done fine. But, the overhead light in the room began flickering when the Bidet was used. I called and set up an appointment for the same day; ..they were a no show. I called again and set up another appointment for the following day; ..again, a no show! I called again 3 days later and had to be very forceful to get their attention. They finally showed up. The problem was not their work but a faulty dimmer switch on the same line that began failing immediately after their installation.
