I recommend adding grilled chicken to the antipasto salad. The staff were very kind and open to substitutions. The food came out fast. If you're looking for a casual, quick, delicious Italian lunch- this place is for you!

People seem to love this small Italian restaurant, but it came up short for me. The best thing…read moreabout our experience was that they have a good selection of gluten free dishes on the menu. My son-in-law was happy about that. Now for the reason I won't be back. You order from the counter, which is fine. The thing that put me off was that they charge extra to use your credit card. Yes I know credit cards charge them and they want their customers to pay for that. (Shame on credit card companies!). But our order came to close to $100.00 and who carries that much cash? So that brought up the total. Then of course tip on top of that. No service to speak of except somebody physically carrying the food to the table. No checking back. Three of us ordered eggplant parm with spaghetti. It came with generous portions in two separate dishes. The pasta had a grainy texture that I didn't enjoy. The sauce needed to be brighter. The eggplant was almost too salty to eat. I just didn't enjoy my meal. A dry slice of bread (no butter) came on the plate too. I sopped up some sauce with it but it wasn't quality bread. I guess I was put off by the extra charge for the credit card and from there it was downhill for me. The gluten free dish was the best one, I guess. It was carbonara with penne pasta.

This is one of my new favorite restaurants in Denver…read more My husband and I shared: - PWA Pizza - Italian Hero on Focaccia - Almond Cannoli It has been a month now and I am still thinking about how good their focaccia was. It was the star of the meal. It made the sandwich amazing. I also loved the pizza. I will absolutely be coming back here to try more of their menu.

I ordered the Sausage Ricky pizza and the Turkey Pesto sandwich with the focaccia bread upgrade. The focaccia was absolutely the right call. The sandwich was well balanced with quality ingredients, and the bread was easily the star of the meal. The Sausage Ricky was also better than expected. Between the slightly sweet sauce, purple onions, sausage, and ricotta, every ingredient had a purpose and the combination worked really well. At $24 for the pizza and $10 for the sandwich before the bread upgrade, I felt like the quality matched the price. Where things fell short was the pickup experience. I placed my order online at 3:26 PM with an estimated pickup time of 4:45 PM. A turnaround time of over an hour for a pizza and sandwich felt longer than expected. When I arrived around 4:50 PM, another customer was already waiting to pick up his order. He ended up waiting several minutes while staff tried to locate it. Despite several employees working behind the counter and the restaurant being only about half full, neither of us were acknowledged when we walked in. The lack of greeting or communication made the pickup process feel disorganized from the start. Eventually, the employee managing the register helped us, and to his credit, he was friendly and clearly doing his best to juggle multiple responsibilities. There was some confusion with my order at first, and I was initially presented with someone else's order and asked for payment until I showed my confirmation email. Overall, the food was good enough that I'm open to giving them another try. But the operational side of the experience didn't match the quality coming out of the kitchen.

They were kind of just fatty pieces of barbecue meat. Still delicious and the sauces were great, but not really what I was hoping for. We ordered cheese curds, which were actually cubes and that is the first time I've ever seen shaped curds. They were pretty good, as was the sausage and mac & cheese, though the cheese sauce was a little thin. My mom had the focaccia grilled cheese, which had awesome flavors in it, but the focaccia itself was super thick. If we could decrease the bread by like half I think this would be an awesome choice. I think the main reason I would go to the Eddy is to hang out on their patio, especially when they have live music. It's a good view of golden in the foothills and its probably a great sunset spot. They also have a lot of good nonalcoholic options which we really appreciated - including nonalcoholic wine, which you don't see very often . I think I would stop back here on my way back from hiking or climbing in the canyon but I hope to be a little more impressed by the food next time.

Yes we were told we could even bring her inside. This made all the adults so happy. We sat in/out near a huge back patio set with games and other dog owners came and went. Food selection was nice, and there were a few options for a diner with gluten restrictions, though not a dedicated gf prepared. Two men ate burgers, and I had the fried green tomato blt it was very good. So many fries on the side. Service was a smidgen slow, the waiter was attentive until near the end of our meal as more folks came and went in the restaurant. We waited a little to get final check. Great patio/pub dining inside the restaurant. Super dog friendly.
