Wow!! This place was so so good and a great value. Came in for restaurant week and was so pleasantly surprised. Started with the arancini - delicious! For my main I went with the chicken Rosa which was like a white chicken Parmesan and right up my alley. I loved the angel hair pasta that soaked up the tasty sauce. We also ended with the black chip gelato which was a healthy portion and yummy. The set up is a pretty typical Italian restaurant but a little unassuming since it is out in a suburban strip mall. Service was quick and friendly though! It's a bit of a drive from me so not sure when I'll be back but I would definitely love to try more of their menu. read more

My boyfriend took me out for my birthday. We arrived before the dinner rush to make sure we could get a table. Our waiter, River was very sweet and accommodating to our table during our dining experience. We started with drinks. I had a Cupid's Punch and my boyfriend had an Italian Manhattan. We received bread and dipping oil, which was so tasty. I ordered the Veal Parmesan, which I haven't had since I was a kid. My plate included a side of spaghetti. My boyfriend ordered the One Pound Lasagna. We tasted each others meals and both were absolutely scrumptious. We shared Spamoni Gelato, which was heavenly. Reservations recommended. Vittoria has a large bar area in the front where they have live music. It's a little loud in the area but the musician was nice. They also have the main dining area. It is much quieter in this area and has beautiful decorations. Our service was attentive and great. The food was delicious! Every bite was chock full of flavor and made you just want to keep eating. I hadn't really heard of Vittoria until recently! When in Powell, we like to visit Novella -- but it was fun to try a new Italian spot. Homemade pasta in an old-world, Tuscan style setting. Arancini was one of the best I've had. Hand rolled with a housemade sauce. The halibut special comes with angel hair and was prepared to perfection. Stole my husband's leftovers on this one and having it the next day was such a cozy reminder of how good it was. My angel hair florentine was a lighter and savory veggie pasta dish that still had some nice textures with the sundried tomatoes and artichokes. Angel hair is my fave pasta type if you couldn't tell. App prices seemed reasonable, but some of the entree prices seemed on high side, esp for being outside of Columbus (i.e. $20 for my veggie angel hair dish and $20 for eggplant parmesan) but it is a nice sit down place with white table cloths, etc. There was a pretty long wait for the patio but next time I'd definitely want to dine outside. My parents have been regulars here for awhile and give the restaurant high praise. We finally got to join them for dinner and it definitely lived up to the expectations from start to finish. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, with high ceilings, white tablecloths, and lovely understated decor. The hostess and some type of the manager gave us a friendly greeting upon arrival to welcome us, and then again when my parents and brother arrived. Service was impeccable from start to finish and our server shared the specials and gave us feedback on some of the menu items which was helpful. I ended up getting the Rigatoni Bolognese which comes in a creamy tomato sauce and in addition to the meat sauce has a giant meatball included. It's super tasty and the portion size is huge, especially for the price. I got to try the Gnocchi with meatball and that was also delicious. As well as the Arancini and Calamari. Even the bread with dipping sauce was excellent. We completed our meal with blackberry gelato and a cannoli. Super impressed by the entire experience and will definitely be back! read more

First time here! We originally went for Restaurant Week however ended up ordering from the menu. Thought having no pasta dish on the Restaurant week menu was odd being I thought they were a predominately Italian restaurant. I started with wedding soup which was very delicious and filled with yummy ingredients! Hubby had the wedge salad which he enjoyed. I ordered the baked egg plant parmigiana with spaghetti. Three slices of egg plant with a generous portion of spaghetti topped with sauce and fresh parmigiana cheese was delicious! Fresh crusted bread with soft center and olive oil was addictive! One of my favorite restaurants in Columbus. This restaurant is owned by the same people who owned La Scala, another favorite. The wife who owns Vittoria's with her family always stops by to say hi and thank you for coming to every table each night. The food is top notch. I ordered the Lasagna this time and it was huge and delicious, ended up taking part of it home for hubby. Wednesday nights they have1/2 price pour on glasses of wine. Monday's, they have 1/2 off bottles of selected wines. They have two fireplaces, which we found out really does not put out any heat only for the looks. Which I will take, so cozy. I came to Vittoria with a friend during the September 2020 restaurant week because I was craving Italian food, specifically pasta. We had high expectations given how upscale the place appeared to be, and the menu sounded incredible. Unfortunately, things went downhill quite quickly. The entrance area was packed with people when we entered, pretty concerning during a pandemic. It didn't take too long for us to get seated, maybe 5-10 minutes, but we had a reservation so that wait time is kind of questionable. Then, it seemed like the whole restaurant forgot about us. We had servers walking past us many many times and after maybe 15 minutes seated without anyone coming over, we decided to wave someone down. We promptly ordered all our food since there was ample time to stare at the menu, and patiently waited. Overall, the wait for food was not terrible but honestly service really really sucked. I understand they were busy for restaurant week but forgetting your customers at a table is rather unacceptable. Onto the food. I ordered the arancini which was good, while my friend ordered the bruschetta. When the bruschetta arrived I was in shock because it was SO large it's a full meal on its own. The flavor was fine on it, but wow were they generous with the portion size. For the entree I got penne in vodka sauce with sausage. My penne was pretty yummy and I enjoyed the dish overall. The cannolis for dessert were alright, nothing I would crave. Perhaps my experience is not the typical one here because of how busy they were that night, but obviously the poor service dominated my memory of this establishment. Hopefully that's the case. Set up a date night for my wife and I, she loves her Italian food, and so I wanted to do something a little nicer. Vittoria was smaller and busier than I thought it would be, so for sure make a reservation if you are going on a weekend. That being said, with our reservation we were seated immediately, and our service was wonderful. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive, and so kind! The owner of the restaurant also was making rounds to check on everyone and make sure their food and service were excellent. My wife got some chicken over pasta... delicious. I have the bone-in ribeye, delicious! The calamari was just okay, not great, which was disappointing because that was one of the recommendations from our server. The wine selection was nice. The bottle we wanted to order was sold-out, but she came back with another bottle with a similar taste profile and it was fantastic. All in all, a really great experience. Large portion sizes for the price, and delicious food. This would be 5 starts for me, but the room is just one giant room, and for me (this is a personal note), it takes away from some of the ambience of being on a "date" when I am out in the open with 100 other people. With the space they have, there probably isn't anything that can be done, but having some dimension to the room, and perhaps segmenting a bit, would create a more intimate experience. It was an honor to be rewarded $80.00 in gift cards to Vittoria for my participation in 614 Magazine's Restaurant week. It was our first visit. The menu prices were a bit above our normal dining experience. We wondered if we were dressed for the part. Thankfully, while a prim and proper upscale eatery, a suit and tie are not required. We started the evening in their expansive main dining room with a fried risotto appetizer. My wife was thrilled to try Sea Bass for the first time. It came on a bed of heavenly mushroom risotto. I had the Chicken Piccata, and it came with a heaping side of Alfredo. For dessert we went to the sampler. The tiramisu was perfect. I enjoyed everything from the three chocolate espresso beans that graced the top, to the bottom lady fingers carefully soaked for flavor. The cannolis and cream puffs also did not disappoint. The food here is top notch. Especially for the price. And especially the desserts. All Italian dishes are to die for too. The managers are great and always take care of us. The live musician in the bar area is INCREDIBLE and the entire reason we always sit at the bar. However, we have had multiple bad experiences with one bartender. He is just plain rude and off putting. He has forgotten to put in items and doesn't seem to care. Meanwhile the manager or other bartender will fix it by comping something. He seems to not know customer service. As a former bartender, I can tell it is not just a "bad day" or fluke - every time we sit at the bar he has been rude. It's a shame because we love the music in the bar area and all other employees we've encountered. The bartender with the short hair and glasses on the other hand is very sweet. We've been by Vittoria several times and were always entranced by the smells coming from the patio and restaurant as we parked to patron other businesses in the area. I'm sad we waited so long! I messed up our open table reservation for the wrong date but was able to sit in the lounge at 6:30p on a Saturday night. The owner Lela, with her late husband (William) owned La Scala and opened Vittoria in 2008. Many of the staff have worked with the business for decades, including the Chef twin brothers! So there is a rich culinary foundation already. The first thing you notice is the vibe. The decor is fairly traditional Italian motifs, but with an upscale ambiance. However, at the same time the live music and energy from the lounge resonates throughout to create this odd mix of everyone feeling like they fit in and are dressed for the occasion whether in a little black dress, or jeans and a sweater. The food was outstanding. We started with the bruschetta which was perfectly melded the olive oil, cheese, tomatoes, and garlic. If they offer, accept the red sauce on the side to top each bite. I had Willi's Linguini and my spouse had the chicken Picante. With Italian sometimes you can get this melding of flavors and everything tastes the same. Not so! Everything was cooked perfectly and the individual flavors and seasoning really pop'd. Mine was just south of too spicy and one clam was sandy but overall it was fantastic. Lela was walking around and visiting with guests and stopped by to thank us and have a little chat, where we learned a little more about what the plans for Vittoria were before the pandemic and Williams's passing. Genuine and welcoming. The live music (acoustic and vocals) was great. A nice mix of 80s and 90s upbeat songs. They were very busy, and only once did I feel like we waited a bit too long to get attention but simultaneously another staff member picked up the check for the waiter and another runner brought it back for us to finish---almost like a magic trick. So they all really have each other's backs to make it a good experience for you. We'll be back, and I encourage you to give Vittoria a shot too! read more

I was invited to a wedding-and-reception held at Vittoria; it has good reviews, and I don't make it to the Dublin/Powell area very often, so it was an exciting evening. The decor and atmosphere is fancy - cloth napkins, proper place settings, beautiful rich dark wood accents, low lights, smooth jazz music playing low. Even the bathrooms are snazzy, with the mouth wash to get that garlic touch off the tongue. Several great hors d'oeuvres served; I personally loved the crab cakes (the garnishing remoulade was excellent. I do wish there was more of the sauce on the side, as it had a wonderful taste. Also, the jumbo shrimp cocktail was spot on. The shrimp were meaty, very filling, and a subtle sweet undertone that paired perfectly with their homemade cocktail sauce. The menu was set with the ability to choose your main entree (filet mignon, salmon, or lasagna). I picked the salmon. The side-dish risotto had a pucker to me, so I passed; the sautéed spinach and tomatoes, however, was very good. Obviously the salmon was great, cooked almost to perfection. This first experience at Vittoria definitely has peeked my interest. I'd like to go back and order off their regular menu. Oh, and when we left later that evening, the restaurant was packed - every last table was full and music was playing from a live ensemble. Kudos to this well-represented establishment. read more

We came in as a party of 2 on a Thursday night. We came around 4:30 pm because we had to catch a flight. My partner came in the night before for a work dinner and absolutely loved it so decide to stop in on the way home. The interior is very elegant and intimate white table cloth. We chose to sit outside on the patio, which was also nice. They had a happy hour and we started with one of the apps on the menu. The Arancini appetizer was pretty good, but the rice could have used more salt and they weren't as crispy as we expected. They were better the previous night. We suggest asking for the sauce on the side so it can stay more crisp. I had a glass of the happy hour red wine, it was very yummy, especially given the price. For our entrees we had the filet with garlic mash and risotto, and the lamb rack with asparagus and garlic mash. Both proteins were perfectly cooked and sides were great aside from the risotto. The risotto lacked salt and could have been a bit creamier. For dessert we had the lemon cheesecake, which was extremely tasty. The crust was very think, which made it a little hard to break into, but still loved it. It was a nice way to wrap up the meal. Our service was very attentive and kind. Very disappointed. Would not recommend at all, especially for large parties. Hosted 2 corporate events, parties of 15 at this restaurant and both times were a mess. The first time they had one large table and set it up so there was no room to move and get into the seats along the wall. The 2nd time when I made the reservation, i mentioned my last experience and requested enough room for folks to sit and comfortably get into their seats. Once again they didn't set up the table correctly. Additionally I asked to speak to a manager not once did he come by to apologize that 15 people had to stand and wait while a large table was pulled out and sorted or addressed the consistent inability of his staff to do the bare minimum of their job and ensure that guests were comfortably seated. Never addressed the inconvenience. Plenty of other restaurants that understand customer service, don't waste your time or money at this incompetent place. read more

Vittoria is PROBABLY my favorite Italian restaurant in Columbus area. If I look at other restaurants, they may do 1 thing better than Vittoria but if you look at the entire package Vittoria is very hard to beat. The Chicken / Veal Rosa is TOUGH to beat. The food is excellent. Menu variety is great. Service has always been very good. No complaints. Beautiful interior and very clean. The portions are large. The quality for the price is the best in the area. it seems most dishes are a couple dollars less than other comps. Only two concerns I have are: It can get quite loud in the restaurant. However, not to the point where it is affecting my experience. I would REALLY like to see them get more quality ice for their cocktails. All I could taste was smoky bread dumped on flavorless linguine and mushrooms, topped with arugula that probably came straight from a bag bought from the supermarket. I'm not sure it's possible but the food continues to get better. Started with the calamari and oysters, both of which were prepared perfectly. Dinner ordered ranged from the blackened salmon to the bacon wrapped filet (special) to the scallops and a couple of pasta dishes. Everything was fantastic. Flavorful and varied, wonderfully presented and served in a timely manner. Offers gluten free options and you can alter anything on the menu, the kitchen is incredibly accommodating. We didn't visit the bar but every time we are here it's packed. A nice barrier between the bar and restaurant keeps the noise from overwhelming the patrons but you can still hear the band.
