Knowing this was a chain, I was expecting something along the lines of Olive Garden, but honestly Olive Garden is better. Everyone working there was really kind and helpful, I must give them credit. As for the food, everything was kind of bland. We all thought the tomato sauce was extremely too sweet. Portions are huge. Prices are cheap. The whole restaurant felt dead. Three of us ordered chicken parm dinners and three salads. One salad was supposed to be without onions, but with ranch. One normal salad with ranch and one normal salad with Italian. All salads came with onions. Two came with Italian. Halfway through our salads the waitress brought our no-onion salad. Then another waitress showed up with our three "double-down" chicken parm entrees that we did not order. The "double-down" entrees are $3 a piece more. We sent them back, just for our waitress to bring them back and said "Sorry she's new." We questioned the double-down cost and we were told it would be the same price as the regular entree. We got our bill and before the price was adjusted we were charged $66 for the three entrees plus two sodas. The waitress told us they'd keep the entrees on the check and take the drinks off to make up the difference. Instead, two drinks remained + the entrees. Again we had to ask for the adjustment. We didn't order the "double-down" chicken parm entrees and we weren't going to pay for them. Finally the bill was adjusted when the drinks were all removed to account for the extra $9 on the bill. When we were wrapping up our dinner, the table next to us also got a chicken parm entree and when it arrived they also questioned the "double-down" portion. This place is clearly trying to pull one over on people! You can't tell me this is an isolated 'accident' either. read more

She knew when we needed something before we even had to ask. She said she had worked for Spaghetti Warehouse for 30 years and her knowledge of the food showed. The Spaghetti Warehouse offers a new experience while showcasing some nostalgia. If you had never been to the old location, then take a look around and enjoy all the little details. Honestly, the food was even better than I remembered from the Original W. Board location. I had the Chicken Parmigiana, and my partner ordered the Spaghetti Warehouse Carbonara with added chicken. We loved the old Spaghetti Warehouse location and have many fond memories of family celebrations there. I'm happy to report that we love the new location, too! We eat at a lot of Italian restaurants since it's our daughter's preferred food- and this is one of our favorites! The garlic butter and warm bread is killer. Plus, the spaghetti and meatballs here is the best in Columbus, in my opinion. We love the new Columbus Commons views - and the short walk through the park from the Commons garage. Don't forget to ask for a parking validation! It brings the cost down to $2 from $5. I love all the old decor touches they brought over from the original location - especially the stained glass lamps. We will be regulars here! read more

So, Anna, Mark, Marlena, and I went there today for lunch this Thursday morning. We were quickly seated and then greeted by Folando, who was a super great server. Knowledgeable, helpful, and very pleasant, we'd ask for him again. The manager made it a point to stop by a few times to make sure everything was good as well As far as ambiance, I liked the view of the Columbus Commons, and it's cool to know that they have huge garage doors that they can open when the weather is nice. Great place to watch one of the concerts on the lawn. The space is nice enough, but I really missed the visual overload of the old place. On a side note, the space really needs something (decor overload) to dampen the noise as it's rather hard to hear others talking at the table with all the hard surfaces The food was good. I tried Anna's Mozzarella Frittas, which were quite tasty and had a nice crispy crunch. My Grande Chicken Caesar Salad was also very good but was a little light on the protein and cheese. Mark and Marlena got the 15 Layer Lasagna, and both said it was quite good. And the bread. It was good, as was that delicious garlic butter, but bring back the old sourdough loaves. Please. This new location has a lot to offer. They did a great job on incorporating the old location into the new location overlooking the Columbus Commons. While they were not able to bring over the old trolly, they built a replica to give you the feel you are eating in a trolley. They also brought in brick to give it the feel of the old location along with light fixtures. Still a great dining option for families where everyone can order something they will like. We had exceptional service. The prices are also very reasonable. The salads we got with our dinners were very good and the calamari was delicious. I ordered the Herb Grilled Sirloin with Brussel Sprouts and enjoyed it very much. If you are hungry for pasta I encourage you to order the 15 layer lasagna on spaghetti with meatballs. The only challenge is parking. If you lucky you may find a spot on the street. There are also plenty of public garages around. If you park in a Columbus Commons garages, bring in your ticket to get it validated. read more

I was a bit apprehensive at first in visiting this location since I have heard and read mixed reviews on the "new" Spaghetti Warehouse, but I am glad I got to visit here and check this place out. This particular location is still relatively new, and while they have some kinks to work out, it also has some things going for them. Parking downtown is never fun, but there are several large garages in the area, and we parked at the Columbus Commons garage. To our pleasant surprise, SW provides a "semi-validated" parking where our $5 parking charge was reduced to $2. The speed of the service overall was unevenly paced - our host was slow to address and then seat us (even though there was only one other party waiting to be seated). It looked like our server was assigned too many tables, but she did a great job taking our orders, checking in on us, and bringing out our food on time. We tried the Sicilian Sampler, the Calamari, the Chicken Marsala, the Chicken Parmigiana for our appetizers and entrees. We also ordered the Grilled Chicken with fries from the children's menu (they have one that is not posted on their website, but you have to ask for it). Between the appetizers and the complimentary breads, we were very full by the time the entrees (which also include Caesar salads) arrived. The appetizers were just ok, nothing bad but nothing great. We found the chicken marsala unreasonably salty and the chicken parmigiana was overcooked. The grilled chicken and the fries were a hit with our daughter, and it was a good portion size. The dessert items - we got the Godiva chocolate cheesecake and the tiramisu - were the highlights for us. Spaghetti Warehouse has a great location adorned with huge windows overlooking the Columbus Commons. The interior of the location was old school, however, some of the seats and the floor generally were dirty and sticky. I visited on opening night of their new location. I was greeted warmly and welcomed into the celebration. The first thing I noticed was the absolutely beautiful view of the Christmas lights on the green outside! You can see the view from more than half the seats. The windows roll up so it will be nice in the summer to listen to concerts while eating. The menu was limited since it was the first day, however they will had gluten free spaghetti. I got it with grilled chicken, marinara and toasted mozzarella. It was very good! Price point was average. Parking is what you would expect downtown. Heard so many mixed review on this place, we just had to try it out for ourselves. Parking- There are few parking garages around Spaghetti Warehouse. We parked in the Columbus Commons garage. Spaghetti Warehouse validates parking to a reduced price. Location:- It's a great location where you have a great view of the Columbus Commons ground from inside. Inside of this restaurant however, was a little dirty. The floor and some of the chairs were very sticky. Service- Service was a little slow but ok. Food- average to not good. So we ordered the Sicilian Sampler and the Calamari for appetizer and Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parm with Spaghetti for the entrée. For dessert, we ordered the Godiva Chocolate Cheese Cake and the Tiramisu. Both of the apps where average, just tasted ok. The spaghetti for the chicken parm was way overcooked and the chicken could have had a little bit of flavor. However, the Chicken Marsala, was the opposite. I was not able to eat it because it was SO salty. I also got the Brussel Sprout with my Chicken Marsala, which was actually good. With our entrée we also received a Caesar salad. Compared to all the other food, the desserts were good. Spaghetti Warehouse serves cheesecake factory cheese cake, which is the Godiva Chocolate Cake that we ordered. The potion size is pretty generous for the price of the food. By the time you finish your complimentary bread and apps, you will be full. So my best friend and I was downtown at the commons looking at the lights and we smelled a smelly smell that smelt delicious! So we were on a hunt for the source! Long behold it was the spaghetti warehouse!!! Now I never went to the old location and we had no clue that this was the new location downtown lol We walked in and it looked like a dinner and it smelt aooooooooo good! We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait 30 mins which wasn't bad! The lady at the stand was rude but I can also tell she was tired and stressed out. Once our table was called we walked back and down the hall were booth that looked like trolly suites! They had lights on the table then in the very back it was open with small tables and tv on the wall! The windows were higher and open so we could see the lights at the commons! Our waiter was super sweet and after chit chatting we found out she waited us at her old job also! Which was cool! We ordered the lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo and added chicken. Got a Caesar salad. The food was good, but no-not the same, and our server was great but it is not worthy of the name. Bread and butter seemed close to 'old times' the lasagna good but the carbonara was very dry and bland. Mozzarella Frittas were highlight of the meal and all servings were large and came out hot. My true rating would be a 3.5/5 but I'll give the benefit of the doubt and round up. I arrived here at 5:45 on a Thursday and was seated promptly. To drink I ordered the Pixy Martini which was super unique! It was sweet and sour and took me back to my childhood. I would definitely order this again! We then received the complimentary bread which is really delicious, especially with the compound butter they provide. I was dining with someone who was here for an event that included a free appetizer and dessert and he shared these with me so I'll share my opinion on them. Just a disclaimer that these were free for my friend but I am still sharing my honest review! For the appetizer we did the mozzarella fritta and these were amazing. Super crunchy breading, gooey stretchy cheese, and some nice fresh herbs to finish them off. These were one of the highlights for sure. Another highlight for me was the Italian wedding soup that came with my meal. It looks pretty unassuming but I thought it had a ton of flavor and I liked the inclusion of the chicken as well as meatballs. I would definitely order this again. The low point for me is unfortunately my entree. I tried the zucchini al aglio olio. What I did like about this was the cook on the spaghetti and the broccoli. What I didn't like was the size of the broccoli, the thickness of the zucchini "noodles" and the general blandness of the dish. The menu says it is in a garlic and olive oil sauce but I wasn't getting much of either flavor from it. Once I added salt it brought some flavor forward and I ended up enjoying it. But I think I'd have liked it better if the broccoli had been in more bite size pieces and incorporated in. Due to their size I ended up eating the broccoli more as a side dish. For dessert we tried their tiramisu. This was good, not the best I've had but it did have nice flavor and texture. My main note for this is that it had way too much cocoa powder on top, it was coating my spoon. Overall I think I'd be likely to return if I'm in the area but probably wouldn't make a special trip all the way downtown for it. read more

Italian wedding soup: So good and I will say likely on the top of my list for Italian wedding soup offerings in Columbus; I love pouring Parmesan cheese on every scoop and I stand by this so kindly do not judge The salad could be beefed up a bit with more croutons and beefier tomatoes but my husband did his magic chopping it with the blue cheese dressing Lasagna: Solid and the red sauce is always delicious: in retrospect we should have ordered it independently Chicken Parmesan: Huge surprise as it was incredible. (The only reason I say surprised is because it was a game time decision to order this as it was included in the lasagna and chicken Parmesan combo which my husband and I split.) The chicken was also perfectly cooked and the melted cheese was incredible. The crisp on this was delicious. I would put this against any other I've ordered in Columbus. The wine and beer list was exactly what we wanted and affordable. My 14 Hands red wine mixed well with the red sauce. Service: Jordan was wonderful and so attentive as I noticed another server was flawless while patiently accommodating a nearby huge table who had issues with the parking validation. He didn't miss a beat in his professionalism. Made a point to tell anyone on staff that we loved our experience. As we live down the street, we will definitely be back as it was delicious and enjoyable with a staff who clearly cares. Only downside is that I didn't take pictures and that is on me. Additionally, we needed to order dessert. Didn't get a loaf of bread as it was more like pieces of bread but cmon, semantics. We should have ordered the garlic bread. The best solution is to go in with a very open mind. This is not the classic restaurant. The modernized trolley concept greatly hurts traffic flow into the main seating area and really looks nothing like a trolley. Somehow in the back corner of the restaurant I could perfectly hear the conversations happening at the bar above the General noisy din of happy diners. The service was great, the chairs were far more comfortable than the old place, the food was again different. With the slimmed down menu sometimes mixing and matching is in order to get back to a classic such as adding a shrimp skewer to the Alfredo to make their shrimp Alfredo option. The parsley overload is interesting, but thankfully did not extend to desserts. The service was absolutely amazing. read more

Made our reservation a few weeks in advance for a Thursday (12/21/23). Love that it is beside Columbus Commons. I knew that I was coming during what they consider the "soft opening". We are from the Akron area and would frequently the Akron Spaghetti warehouse and only got to go to Columbus location once before it closed. We got gross food covered paper menus that should be thrown away after each guest. The bread was ok but the butter isn't how I remember it. No plates for the bread so crumbs everywhere. I got the chicken marsala and it was terrible. Dry with two tiny pieces of dry chicken. And I got what they call "Parmesan & Rosemary Steak fries". Two small handfuls of hard as a rock fries that look like they came in a bulk bag from Walmart frozen foods. Couldn't eat any of it. $19 for that small plate of food. My Dad got the 15 layer lasagna. He was expecting the huge piece that Akron serves with the flag toothpick on too. It was small and a mess. So I decided to get the Cheesecake factory plain cheesecake! My son got a piece too. Didn't ask for them to go but came out in a styrofoam container. They were TINY! My piece didn't even have crust on the bottom. First time to the new Spaghetti Warehouse in its new location. Went for lunch because I thought they might have a lunch menu (but no). First impression. Two waiters arguing in front at the hostess stand. Wow good start. Not the place for it in front of customers. Pasta dishes were just too expensive for lunch (and the portion sizes I saw on other tables looked a bit small) so I went with an appetizer (fried calamari $8), Caesar salad $9, Italian wedding soup $8, and sweet ice tea $3. Decent size Caesar salad plate with dressing and calamari was good. Wedding soup though. Broth was very thin and not much taste or seasoning. Would have been nice with more meatballs. Progresso wedding soup in a can has a better soup. As I said, would have been nice to have some lunch combos but just a thought. And despite the waiter/waitress argument in the beginning, my waitress was great with her attention and service. Not sure after looking at the menu that I want to go back. My family and I wanted to come to the new location. This experience is truly sad and it's not the same. The restaurant is much smaller. We were told the wait will be 45min but ended up being 20min. When we got seated we noticed about 8 empty tables. I understand people are under staffed and it's hard to get people wanting to work. While waiting for our food it took so long just to get re fills on the drinks. Literally it took 15min to get re fills on water!! The spaghetti sauce is more sweeter and not what it used to be. It was nice to come see the place but we wouldn't come back. Also if you park at the Columbus Commons they will give you a ticket voucher. You just have to pay $2.00 in order to get the voucher. OK, so I wanna start my review with the fact that I grew up going to the Pittsburgh location which was the old school style, I happen to be in Columbus, Ohio for a concert and thought oh look here's the spaghetti warehouse is not spaghetti warehouse. It's like Sad depressing modern spaghetti warehouse. The food was OK at best, but they upsell you on everything to the point where it probably added $20 to my bill. The food itself wasn't anything special I mean it was fine. It was edible, but it wasn't great and it used to be great. Finally, my server was OK, but to be really honest, I felt like she was annoyed with me because I existed. I won't make it a point to go back to that location if I'm in the area. read more
