We moved in this weekend and already love our new home! The complex is beautifully maintained! Ken made the leasing experience as stress free and easy as he possibly could. We ran into no issues in that area. Upon move in, we noticed that shower handle was loose and had no grip. I sent a request request @ 1141 today and by 145 my boyfriend told me Francisco had fixed it! I am not used to this type of response but I love it. It is a pretty quiet complex, we have a 2 year old and notice how loud he is!! The management and staff are super friendly and helpful. I agree that everything has gone downhill since REMM took over. I will give credit to the new staff. They are polite and friendly and they will try to be accomodating. My complaint is about the management company itself. They raise the rent on eveyone at the end of every lease and will charge you an arm and a leg for going month to month. Our unit has never been upgraded so the increase in the rent feels completely unjustified. A one time increase for property upgrades? Sure...but to increase every time your lease is renewed just says they're greedy. There have been several vehicle break-ins recently and nobody has been notified by management. They installed hi-def cameras during the summer but the professional installation is a joke. The video footage of my car being broken into was completely useless because the glare from the street lights obscured the person's face and the vehicle license plate. I don't even know if the cameras in the back even work. Great job guys! They have recently rented a 2 bedroom unit to a very large family. Approximately 9 people. I have seen 3 of them wearing ankle monitors. I asked the management if any of them are sex offenders and they claim to have no knowledge of anyone in the residence being under police monitoring despite the fact that the sheriff has been out there because of them on more than one occassion. They gather with other family members and friends in the back parking lot and the parking lot across the street, drinking and partying and leave their trash everywhere. Other tenants have said that they have been urinating and defecating back there but I haven't confirmed the defecating. This place was much better off under the previous management. They were on top of everything and were very accomodating. This new management company seems intent on squeezing every dime out of you until you are forced to find another place to live which tells me they don't care about families or good tenants. Unless you have a bunch of money that you don't need and don't mind moving again in a couple years I would recommend against moving in here. read more

I would like to give my 4 year update. Jenny Menendez and Coy Collins have been wonderful managers on the property. Springtree has experienced many rotations of management, however, I must say that everyone has been very accommodating and always willing to help me. They are both friendly and personable and Jenny has always been a great liaison between myself and REMM seeking always to be open and very communicative. As always, I continue to see improvements on the property. As with the property improvements needed, I do have my concerns about my unit in regards to countertops, cabinets, and the ceiling that is experiencing visible signs of deterioration from age. I hope to get these things addressed and fixed as my tenure here has already been 4 years, and I need to see that REMM is aware of these things that need to be addressed as well. REMM needs to make improvements for the existing tenants, not just when they are preparing units for new tenants in order to list it on the market and raise the cost of rent. Another concern of mine has been the bad air quality or air flow within the units, however, I have found that an air filter has been very helpful. There is a large amount of dust in this area of Orange County as well, so be prepared to deal with a lot of it in your home but also on your car. As with any apartment complex, be prepared to accept that you will need to be understanding of your neighbors' noise, pets, etc. There is no way to avoid it as we all live so close together and walls are thin. Overall, Springtree is a great opportunity to live in a very centrally located spot between OC and LA. Magnolia is right off of the 5 and 91 freeways, so commuting is a breeze. You are also located right near Knott's Berry Farm and 10 minutes from Disneyland, among other things. I would say that what has been my favorite thing about this spot is the great location for commuting and the cost, which I find to be a lot lower than most places in the area especially with rising costs. This apartment building does not provide appropriate parking to the tenants. Do not expect to have anyone come over and visit. I would never recommend this building to anyone. My daughter lives in this building and I have to get a driver to drop me off as their is no parking anywhere. No street parking nothing. read more

This is by far the best apartment complex I've lived in. Ken is always making it feel more and more like a community with all the events we have! I especially love taco friday! Whenever we are having any sort of issue, the staff is quick to help. I put a work order in and they come that same day! All staff is very friendly and warm, I love raising my daughter here. Been here a few years and still love this place. It's a nice area. Close to everything! Pretty quiet. They keep this place very clean and very pretty with the landscaping. Maintenance is great and always takes care of any issues in a very timely manner. The manager is awesome. We recently had a community bingo game online that was a lot of fun. And even had a costume contest for Halloween. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a long term place to live to move here. read more

The exterior of the complex is well taken care of (landscape, pool, etc). However, I have noticed termite poop on my carpet and once on my pillow..yuck! The manager is a sweet lady and she is always attentive to problems such as mine but, I'm afraid its seems almost impossible to get rid of the hungry termites. Another concern of mine is the popcorn ceiling it is known to contain asbestos. The complex owners seem to notice the health threat asbestos impose on its tenants since, they do so kindly post a couple of hard to see small print signs on the exterior walls. I am amazed on how people continue to live like this and are not aware on what asbestos can do to them in the long run. read more

I went in today with my boyfriend, his mother and my sister and was helped by Fransico the service manager. He showed us around the complex and was kind enough to show us an available unit. Although he was the service manager he did a great job informing us about the complex and explaining everything wonderfully. He was very kind and polite. I love this complex and Debbie the landlord/property manager is the most amazing attentive and caring person you will meet. She goes out of her way to help you if she can, her husband is also a kind and helpful too. I love the set ups of the apartments, they are very spacious and roomy and I also love the floor plans. Patios are great sizes. Everyone is friendly there too as well, neighbor wise. Very neat and clean and nice floor plans for 2 bedrooms. This is a place you can totally call home. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone who is looking for a friendly/ family/ oriented nice place to live. And the pool is a plus for the summertime as well read more

Lived here for a year between mid 2016-mid2017. I have several issues with this place but this is just a few. The parking situation sucked. There was never any parking outside of the assigned carports no matter what time of day it was. The contract stated that cars parked in open spaces that were not used would be towed but I can think of at least 3 or 4 cars that never moved and they were never towed. They sat there comfortably taking up space, cobwebs and all. Roaches. I don't know about other units but ours was bombarded by roaches from when we moved in until when we left -- despite the many efforts of cleaning until spotless, roach removals bought from stores, and fumigators provided by the complex. They never went away. Our unit, our neighbor's unit, and the unit across from us had mold in the apartments. Management didn't want to do anything. There were several car break-ins that management kept hush hush about. They never once mentioned it to anyone despite our security being at risk. We only heard about it from neighbors. They couldn't do anything about the break-ins because the security camera footage sucked. After our year lease was up for renewal, they increased rent by over $130. They said the amount of the increase was based on what they SHOULD'VE been charging us rather than what we were actually paying. We obviously decided not to renew. Also, when we moved out, they kept over half of our security deposit despite signing the checklist stating there were no damages to the apartment. read more

I have only been leaving here for 8 months. And since July my car has been broken into TWICE!! I have lost $1000 worth of merchandise. I talked to Management about it and it's the last thing on their list to get the security footage to me on top of it seems like the just don't care. Ken has been very helpful. read more

I really like to live here. I've been here over two years now, and the management has been very professional and responsive. Maintenance requests are very quickly handled, and the grounds are kept clean and orderly. We have new managers now, Ken and Albert, and they are doing a great job! Ken is very friendly and honest, he really goes out of his way to make the complex a great place to live. I had a few questions lately and he has been very approachable, and he has given me the information I needed. There is a taco night now and the tacos and burritos were really excellent. Ken has been going out of his way to improve parking, which is really the biggest problem here. We used to be able to park across the street on the curb, but a new development is being built there and the city has prohibited parking on that side of Magnolia. Ken was right on it trying to find a solution whether it is a deal with the church next door or the shopping center across the street. I don't know if the parking will improve, but honestly, this is a great place to live, and REMM management has really kept this place staffed with great managers, read more

This has been one of the best places I've rented from so far. Debbie by far the most helpful and understanding landlord I have had the pleasure of renting from. Any and every issue I might have had Debbie would go above and beyond to do her best and find a solution and help out. Key thing is communication. I respect that aspect of her. There was a few times where personal health complications kept me from fully working all my hours and by keeping constant communication of what was going on Debbie, this phenomenal woman, worked with me and managed to find ways for me to stay in my apartment when moments where difficult.
