I really enjoyed this place, no ac at the time which is fine. The service was great and very homey. The Jamaica was not great but the tea was good. The service was fast which was nice. Our party of 8 definitely made the right choice! Our group was welcomed and easily accommodated, even without an reservation. Our wonderful server, and her team, provided prompt courteous service. Food was delivered in an appetizing way... meaning that care was given to plating, portion sizes were large, food was at the proper temperature and very, very tasty, and finally, prices were extremely reasonable! My street tacos with carnitas had much appreciated condiments on the side such as grilled onions, lime wedges, and grilled jalapeños. I was able to swap my refried beans for nicely seasoned black beans. I also enjoyed guacamole and salsa with my chips. I should have known that I'd be having a great meal when I discovered that the salsa was not watery and bland like some other places. The salsa was wonderful! The food is mediocre at best depending on what you get. Chicken is always dry and never properly seasoned. For what you pay, portions sizes are tiny. I can go to several different local spots and get a lot more for the same price and it tastes better. Drinks are weak and overpriced. Service is absolutely horrible. I swear they only have one server and he is an oaf. Slow, stupid, and not attentive. Constantly have to ask for drinks to be refilled and then it takes forever to actually get a refill. The worst part is they automatically charge 25% gratuity because they know they have shit service and their servers won't get tipped because of it. Save your money and dine elsewhere. **Put $20-$30 because after rediculous auto gratuity % thats what it comes out to.
