I waited 25 minutes and then Tom (the manager!!) came over and said "I'm sorry I don't have time for you" he then went found a scraper and told me to "do it myself"!!! Umm, if I wanted to do it myself I wouldn't have come in!!!! I understand they were busy. But why would you start someone you have NO intention of finishing!!! I received a great pedicure here. The girl that gave me my pedicure was really nice, professional, and did a great job. If you don't bring in your own file kit then you will pay an extra dollar for one. You can keep bringing that one back though... or just get a new set each time. Overall I thought it was pretty inexpensive to average for a pedicure. I would go back to have it done again. However, I do have an issue with the older lady rushing my pedicurist because another customer walked in wanting a manicure. I knew she was rushing her when my girl said 5 minutes... then she walked by a couple times and after a couple minutes the older lady literally stood over her shoulder, bent down and stared at my feet while she was working on painting a flower on my toe. My best friend took me here for my birthday and now I won't go to any other nail salon. This place is clean, staff is great...not like most places where you feel like the staff is talking about you in their language. They make you feel at home, you can get a free drink, even a mimosa!!! Most importantly, takes their time with you and they do a great job. This is the first place where I have actually felt that I got what I paid for. I normally don't even write reviews but this place deserves it. I went to them on a whim one Sunday when they were the only place that could get me in, and they did an absolutely amazing job. I get the dip manicure and it stays on perfectly for 3+ weeks until you have grow out and need a color change. They also do great with your cuticles. Highly reccomend! read more

I had a Groupon, as well and had WONDERFUL customer service. *Please note that on the Groupon, it clearly states that you MUST call and set up an appointment. And duh...you aren't the only ones that bought this; they sold several, so they are pretty busy with their current client list, helping those with the Groupon and taking care of their walk in customers. I called and was able to get an appointment the next day. My appointment was for the OPI Axxium Gel manicure and I requested to do the french manicure, which was an upgrade (only $5 difference), and the gal that did my nails did an excellent job. What sucks about this place is the rush job, fast nail cleaning and sloppy nail polish. They also raised their prices to $28 for a shilac mani. Recently they started doing the dip technique and they try to sell you that HARD!! $40 and ice hesrd it's chunky, uneven and not worth the price. When you get your nails done, you're treating yourself to some relaxing down time. Even though the place was busy, I had to wait over 50 minutes for somebody to start doing my nails. A woman who came in after me had her nails started on a half an hour before me. The lady didn't cut my nails or get rid of all of my cuticle junk. The Wi-Fi didn't work on my phone, but that wasn't their issue. My phone is temperamental. Best nail place I've ever been to and I've lived in 4 different states and multiple cities and go in to get my nails done every 2 weeks. It's a very clean nice place with efficient manicurists. Language is minimal for some of them but they 100% understand my preference every time. And on top of it their prices are cheap AND you get TWO FREE beverages (mimosas, margs, water, wine, pop etc). They have specific chair for children too if you want to pamper your kids. Make sure you make an appointment if you don't want to wait. I just moved to hillsboro and I didn't know where to go for nails so I went here to get a fill. I'm not satisfied with the service I got and I don't think I'll go back because of it. I liked how they gave complimentary drinks and it was really clean. When I walked in the receptionist was really nice and helpful. She told me they were ready for me and I went to the chair she told me to and nobody talked to me for about 10 minutes so I sat awkwardly waiting. I didn't like the not being spoken to part. Then she finally came out to help me and all she said was did you bring your nail file. Which confused me because why would I bring a nail file to a nail place? Apparently you have to bring your own supplies here. They made me buy a new file from them in order to do my nails.I was only $1 still I have been to plenty of nail salons and I have never been told I have to bring my own file. Weird. She started to help me but she kept getting up and leaving which I thought was really annoying. She left at least 7 times because someone was talking to her in a different language from across the room. She didn't talk to me the whole time and she kept saying "tap" and I had no idea what she was talking about so then she got frustrated and made me feel like she thought I was dumb. Apparently she meant tap your hand to turn on the drying machine but... use your words if you're asking me to do something don't say tap over and over. She also was very.. pushy I guess is the word. she just like pulled my hand instead of waiting for me to bring it to her kind of thing if that makes sense. In the end my nails look great and I'm very happy with how they look, However I went for a fill and it was 30 dollars. That was more than what I paid for the original full set. I miss my regular place in olympia. It is only 15 for a fill there and they have perfect service. However I do realize this one person and my one experience does not mean the whole place is bad so I'd be willing to try again but the prices are a little high for me when I'm use to paying half their price for the same result. read more

I'm in town visiting family and came in with my mom to do a mani/pedi. I was getting a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. First, we started with our pedicures. I was pressured into getting the exfoliating pedicure even though I came in for the regular. Fine, whatever. Well, the lady (I believe her name was Monica) ended up doing a super rushed job. She left nail polish on my skin, did different shapes on some of my toes, didn't hardly exfoliate my feet AT ALL, and left wax hanging off my skin. My pedicure was over before my mom even began her polish (despite my mom starting her service before mine). She leaves the salon immediately after doing my nails. Moving on to the manicure. I tell the woman that I would like the same color as my toes. I tell her that in that lighting it's hard to tell. I really prefer the color to be the same or very similar. I tell her it's off but whatever. By the end of my manicure, I'm just kind of irritated. The manicurists asks "why didn't you tell her about your toes?" I told her that I didn't care about the color but that it was a rushed job. The man that runs front of house then approaches me. He asks if I like my toes, by now I realize the whole list of things that are wrong. He offers to "fix" it. By fix it he means have me leave my shoes on while someone simply fixes the color left on my skin. I peel the wax off myself. I'm now asked to pay. $62. I paid $62 (before tip) for a gel mani/regular pedi. That's $20 more than I pay at home but for shitty service, a mix matched manicure, and scratchy feet from the half-added attempt at exfoliation. Never coming back. EDIT to add: My mom loved her nails. Her pedicurist, however, cut her toe pretty bad. The nail tech tried to play it off and was hardly apologetic. She sprayed some kind off what I'm assuming was an antiseptic but now my mom's toe is throbbing and red. She may need to see a doctor to ensure there isn't an infection looming. Awful service. My daughter and I have always been happy here. The lady that did our nails last time was great, chatted with us and did a fantastic job on my daughters acrylics and my shellac! They stayed on perfectly. The only complaint is my daughter wanted 2 silver stripes on each nail and they can't because they don't have the tape. Probably only place I have been they can't do something as simple as that :-/ buuuut that has nothing to do with their quality of work and friendliness. Prices are great too! I chose this salon based on another review that said the salon was under new ownership and I was not disappointed. The pedicure included a very long leg massage, a paraffin wax foot dip and all the other usual parts of a spa pedicure. For $25, it felt like a great deal. They have wi-fi, complimentary drinks (including wine) and when I came they had so many people working, there was absolutely no wait (and they have 7 pedicure chairs). The only downsides are that it does smell like a nail salon, they have tons of magazines but they are so disorganized it is hard to find a current magazine and finally it seemed like only 1-2 employees spoke English so communication was a bit hard. The service was rather quick as far as the massage and especially the exfoliation during the pedi compared to those I've had elsewhere. The cost is rather high for a pedi. The lady working on my feet was really sweet. After the pedi... I've been having a strange itch on the bottom of my foot... I hope it's not related to the pedi... I've never had this prior to getting the service. And as far as their tools... Not sure how well cleaned they are. I did not physically see a new set pulled out of it's sanitized wrapping... Writing this review might be a bit unfair given that I walked in on a Friday evening, no appointment, and the place was slammed due to it being prom/grad season. I'm willing to give them a 2nd chance due to those circumstances. This first visit, however, was only "fine". I got a basic spa pedicure. Not great; not bad. I'm disappointed because my toenails are not even and the cuticle trimming, etc. wasn't as thorough as it could have been. Despite paraffin wax treatment, my feet felt a little rough around the edges. Again, it had been a very busy day for the salon, so it's possible I didn't get the customary service. The salon is nice and comfortable and service is pretty good, so I see potential. The complimentary beverage is a nice touch. They were doing a lot of acrylic nails while I was there, so the place was potent with fumes; could use better ventilation. I hate their policy of not allowing tips via credit card, though. It's rather off-putting and unnecessary. You can pay with your credit card, but can only tip with cash. Dumb! read more

Like almost everyone else on this board I came here on a Groupon a few months ago and I've been coming back every month for an eyebrow wax, pedicure, and the occasional manicure. I always make my appointments ahead of time. It seems to me every time I'm there they're fairly crowded, and the few times I tried to sneak in early I wound up having to wait. So, make an appointment and be on time! I've never had a problem with the customer service, although I've been lucky enough to book with Sydney every time I go. She's incredibly friendly and does great work. I recommend her if you're gonna give this place a shot. read more

You get hot stones, wax treatment, massage, cuticle removal and a good overall scrub all for $33! I have been to this nail salon twice and was not impressed. The first time getting a mani/pedi, my pedicure looked great but two of my toes' shellac polish peeled off within 2-3 weeks and my shellac nail polish was so thinned out that after 3 coats you could still see my natural nails under the polish. I wrote it off as maybe it was just the polish I picked or the tech was in a rush to go home. The second time, I came earlier and got a different tech. my shellac pedi looks great and hasn't had any issues (it's been about a week). I ended up getting regular polish on my nails, but there are lines around the edges were the tech did not do an even two coats. The tech I had this time was also very pushy about upselling their services. Such as having to tell her 3 times that I wanted the regular (not the deluxe pedicure), 2 times that I was not interested in getting a floral design, and 5 times that I wanted regular nail polish for my manicure. While the salon staff is otherwise accommodating, the salon is clean, and I was exited about the wine/mixed drink options, I will unfortunately not be back. read more
