It's been hard finding a decent boba place in Escondido. Vivi has been the closest I've found so far! We ordered the flaming brown sugar milk tea as well as a mango slush. Both had excellent flavor. Service was friendly, the only negative might have been the speed. Our drinks took quite a while to produce. But it seems like it might be the owner running the front counter, so I understand how that could be challenging both taking orders and making them. We will definitely be back! read more

Came here for the first time today and I like that this is so close to where I live in Escondido. The service was good. It didn't take too long to make my three drinks after serving the four drinks ahead of me. I like when they gave me my drinks, they made sure I know to shake the Blue Galaxy to prevent drinking each layer individually. I like the 3Q Milk Tea. Perfect flavor and not too sweet even at regular sugar level. The Blue Galaxy was refreshing. A perfect summertime drink. My mom liked her Taro Slush. The location has a lot of parking. I'm afraid it's location might cause it to be missed but, if you like "bubble tea" and are in Escondido, I highly recommend coming here. Good service. Good drinks. Good parking. My taro milk tea was really enjoyable--not oversweetened, and only a little bit of ice to cool it rather than turn the thing into milky water sludge. This place is fairly new on Nordahl Rd and is located in a busy strip mall. Parking is usually not an issue unless its on weekend dinner times. I've visited this place a couple times ordering their popcorn chicken. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and have always opted for spicy. It's usually pretty spicy, even when I have opted for a level 2 spice. Its flavorful, but the chicken is a bit too greasy. I think they may have put in the chicken when the oil is not quite hot enough, because a lot of oil gets soaked into the chicken. The boba was okay in my experience. I decided to stop by since I was ordering food from next door. I've seen this shop for a while now and didn't want to make the drive to Happy Lemon on the other end of San Marcos. I noticed that It was a family run business which is why I'm giving it a higher review than I normally would. Quality of the drink is extremely poor. I ordered a milk tea but it was really watered down. Pudding had no flavor either. Also got a Thai Milk Tea. Doesn't taste anything like it and was extremely milky. The drinks and snacks are good. Although the reason I like this shop over the other ones is because the proprietors are very welcoming. The first night we came here, we thought the store was closing later than it actually was. The male owner turned off the "open" sign which made us aware that they closed at 8:30p instead of the later time we saw somewhere else. The owner very nicely assured us that we can stay beyond closing. Of course we didn't take him up on his offer. Everyone needs their down time. The one star deduction is for the times when the adult proprietors are not around. The younger ones roll their eyes when asked questions, bang and slam cupboards and covers on the counter, albeit following a "polite" script. Tried this new place in San Marcos. The staff were nice. I ordered a strawberry Yakult and it did not tasted like strawberry at all and it tasted like some lemonade. I was actually planned ordering Taro and they were out of stock temporarily. I love boboa and always try new boboa places in SD. This place is quiet and nice. Taste wise I would give 1 star and I was told that they don't use sugar in my drink but it was really sweet.
