So, first I'll say I really love my nails! This was the first time going to this location. The service was quick & the finished product was beautiful! Why only 3 stars? I really did not like how they pry your old acrylic nails off! They were pretty harsh that way. I love the look of acrylics but i also care about my natural nails. So they lost a star for that. Also I did not see them sanitize for the next customer when I was done. Fast mask are required and there were 2 ladies getting pedicures but just me getting a manicure until 2 more customers walked in & used the same first station. Somehow I came across this place on IG and they're work was super cute on the page plus it was a convenient location for me. I'm usually adamant about supporting Black owned business first but I couldn't get a last min appt same day. Initial entrance, it was clean besides them appearing to be doing minor renovations in the back. I was greeted by Christine and asked what I wanted and told to sign in. For a balance and pedi... told me to pick both colors, short wait before I was seated in the chair for a pedi. Plenty of color acrylic options. All gel polish colors they have in regular polish as well. All polish is behind their work stations so you pick from the examples on the table. Pedi: They use liners for the bowl He gave me a cover since I had on a dress. Nice guy, didn't catch his name. $35, use a softener in an unmarked bottle before the grater which I feel I always need. Lol hate that i couldn't tell what it was but it didn't physically bother me and definitely helped remove dead skin. Sugar scrub oil rub, and hot towel included. They do a white base for lighter colors. Saves a lot of time and risk of ruining it before drying. Christine prepped my nails during my pedi. Did an ombre acrylic. Staff was rude. It was filthy they clean by wiping the powder and old nails on the floor they use the same equipment on every person getting nails done without cleaning in between. I ask for manicure they get a pair clippers and take a few hang nails off and called that a manicure. Been a regular almost 5 years, never had a complaint until today. Come in on time for my appointment all the way from grove city. Had to for a guy to do my acrylic on my toes 10-15 mins... then he rushed, toes were shaped uneven, polish was so sloppy was already peeling off. The lady fixed it, when it was time to I asked to be accommodated bring that I had been there over a hr for a polish change on top of being late for work. They told me 5$ off, like what! The big man at the front with tattoos, told me if you don't like you can go somewhere else. Like you are willing to lose a customer bc I'm asking to be accommodated. I had given up manicures for over a year. I just did not have the time to donate hours to waiting. The wait time in some if these salons's is ridiculous. I made an appointment at ViVi. At first it was great. Zero wait time, reasonable amount of professionalism except for the owner/manager. At times she spoke to people inappropriately. The young lady that did my nails took a month vacation. The owner/manager did my nails. Problem with this she did more than one customer at a time. During this time I got a really bad fungus. Anyone that knows me knows I am very particular about my nails. Without professional manicures, I take great care of my nails. It took months to grow my nails out and they are just getting back to normal. Heres the lesson. Make sure your tech is using clean packaged equipment. If they take items to use another customer , do not allow they to return and use them on you. Above all, they must wash their hands. Because I had not had a manicure in over year and this is the only business I visited, every 2 weeks, I am pretty sure where the problem came from. Business' need to take better care of customers and customers need to be more vigilant of their care. I am just as responsible for not paying attention and speaking up. This salon was very disappointing. I scheduled appointments for 3 manicures over the phone, and indicated we could be somewhat flexible on timing if earlier worked better for the salon. The receptionist agreed on an earlier time, but one of the 3 in my group still had to wait 30 minutes before anyone started her nails. They put a totally different color than requested on her nails, so had to ask them to add a coat of the right color. Also, the gel paint on my nails was not as complete (close to cuticle) as usual at other salons. Only one of the salon employees was friendly and welcoming- she did a great job on my relative's dip nails and design. Also, they only accept cash but do not make that clear when booking ahead of time, so I had to go next door to withdraw money... will not be back here. read more

I was told that after 5 balances I needed a new set of nails I asked Ree if going forward would I need a new set every 4 to 5 balances just let me know because there is a big difference in price of a balance and a new set.. But today I really wanted a pedicure and the reviews were good for a place like this. Well the ventilation is awful and not sure how it meets health codes. I loved this place when I first discovered it! Now not so much. First reason is it is incredibly more expensive then it used to be . A basic acrylic set would be $30-$40 great! Now it's $50-60. It is way to expensive compared to other salons. It is a beautiful place! Second they are ALWAYS rushing I once had a little lump of acrylic or glue on the side of my nail and when I tried to take it off the whole nail fell off. Also to get a nail fixed is $5 like you might as well get a new Set!! Third they always break so soon they don't won't last you more then a month. They have a lot of colors. Used to go to this location when I lived in the area several years ago. My sister now lives in the area and I was in town on June 8 for her wedding and so I took the bridal party to Vivi to get our manis and pedis. For the most part, the bride and other members of the bridal party had an excellent experience. I, however, was given the lady that runs the shop for my gel manicure. She did not give me a manicure and never once mentioned that she was changing my service. She rushed through it so quick that my nails were uneven and the polish was very lumpy around the edges and did not fully cover the nail. I tried to tell her my service was for a manicure and that I wanted that done but she refused to provide the service I was requesting and went into some bs explanation about how she doesn't like to do manicures because she cares for her own nails a different way. I was extremely unhappy as I regularly get manicures and I know how to care for my nails and know exactly what services I prefer. When a customer comes in for a particular service, it is your job to do as they prefer especially if they point blank tell you they want a specific service. All I got was a very rushed, sloppy polish job. I had to fix my own nails prior to the wedding. If the lady running the shop is in that big of a hurry and feels that strongly about pushing her own personal preference onto customers, then she should probably stick to just running the shop and not performing services on the customers. read more
