I come at least once a trip during my monthly visits to Bristol from Atlanta. Great service and love the breakfast bristol starter with eggs and bacon. On my previous visit in December, I had the steak and eggs..was very disappointed that it wasn't a real steak like before...instead, got 2 pieces of flat meat that looked unappetizing and the price wasn't worth the $30. Skip that unless they change it back. Usually the food is excellent. I'll be back in March!

Wonderful brunch with a touch of class without being over the top about it. We were concerned that we might be a little bit to casual for this spot, but they welcomed us in for brunch in spite of our jeans and hoodies. We did feel a little underdressed compared to the others in the space, but not dramatically so. We were offered water right away and ordering our meals didn't take long. The waitress informed us that they have an in-house pastry chef who bakes complementary specialty breads for brunch. It may be Saturdays only and likely subject to change. But, we were given the tastiest basket of apple bread right after ordering. Super happy with it! I got the lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes. I believe they were a limited-run menu item. They were tart, soft, and all the good things you want out of a pancake. Also, the blueberry compote was definitely made from fresh blueberries. Yum! It also came with a side of breakfast potatoes, which were fried and tasty. I also went for the aperol pear spritz. It was a very nice breakfast cocktail and was much lighter than I expected it to be. I was expecting heavier pear representation. However, all the flavors played nicely with each other and it was a nice big glass that lasted for my entire brunch. One of the best things about the spot was that there was plenty of free and available parking. Since it is a little bit off the main drag, there are many more spots. Overall, I'd visit even if you don't have a Bristol Hotel room. I'd probably recommend a reservation, especially if you're coming in for dinner. However, we had no issues getting seated for brunch as walk-ins.

My fiancé and I went to Vivian's Table to celebrate his birthday, and they certainly exceeded expectations! Tracey's service was excellent and her recommendations were all delightful. Located just off State Street, The Bristol Hotel was a perfect place to capture the heart of downtown. We ordered the Summer Melon Salad, Mediterranean Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and a Mandarin Orange cake...100/10!!! Highly recommend the Salmon and asking for your waiter's favorites. The food, service, atmosphere, wait time, and value will all have us returning for future celebrations and just because!

My dear friends took me to dinner at Vivian's table last night and everything was splendid! I ordered the Grilled Salmon with risotto and spring vegetables! It was ten out of ten! I got the side of parsnip purée with a hint of truffle oh my goodness I'm delighted our excellent server Amanda recommended it! We also ordered a baguette for the table and it was perfection. My friends ordered the same entree as I did but added a Caesar salad it looked and smelled devine. The table was right near the window and the restaurant was pretty quiet except for us when we discovered our server was from the same tiny town of 50 people where we live!!! What are the chances!! And I'm friends with her mom? Really haha a fabulous time was had by all the new Chef has improved the food there by about 1000% I highly recommend trying Vivian's Table when you are in Bristol.

There was no biscuit in my Biscuit Fried Chicken, but I digress. The green tomato salad had no lettuce, simply pickled green tomatoes with creamy house-made ricotta and a nice blend of tasty surprises. We went straight to entrées. My son had the strip steak with fries, which came out looking like something from a premium steakhouse photo ad. They left nice chunks of fat which cooked up beautifully and certainly added a lot of flavor. There was no meat left on his plate when he was finished. My wife had the shrimp and grits, the shrimp were HUGE, plentiful, and delicious. I had the biscuit fried chicken, which arrived looking like a large open face sandwich, with layers of comfort food! I took a photo. My meal was delicious, but there was no biscuit, even though I kept tasting biscuit, so I think the breading was made from a big fluffy crunchy biscuit and it was delicious. Definitely some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. I could cut it with a fork. It was juicy and so crunchy and flavorful. Overall, it was a good night very quiet middle of the week meal, which was perfect. We enjoyed a nice quiet family celebration for my son's birthday.

The food is fantastic!! Kudos to the chef!! The scallops is excellent paired with risotto. The ribeye was grilled to perfection! Wonderful service. Always good to hear suggestions. Place ambiance has set nice tone to elegant dining. Love the furnitures, evident it is

Very very cute restaurant. Not huge but the attention to detail is great. It is located inside a hotel and next to the museum of country music so it maybe a little easy to miss. I didn't love my lox baguel there was nothing outstanding about it and the onions were very cold they were supposed to be sautéed ñ. None the less the drinks were great and the other options on the menu seemed and looked good as I was looking at every plate that walked by. The bartender was great and gave some recommendations I had a martini which was divine.curious to try this place again for the additional food options great venue for a celebration or a cute intimate date.

Service was above high expectations! Took care of the slightest items quickly and without question. Upscale, simplistic & modern decor accented the dining experience. Steak was prepared to perfection and the vegetable risotto was an amazing twist that was as delicious as the description. Definitely high on the list for a repeat visit. The rooftop bar was an excellent spot to await our reservation. Also highly recommend.

GET THE BANANA BREAD PUDDING! I needed you all to know that first and foremost in case you didn't ready the rest of the review. Everything here was amazing but their banana bread pudding is the best thing I have eaten all year. I contemplated ordering 2 more. I was a fan of the short rib and my boyfriend loved the cordon bleu. We order three apps and we both agreed that the deviled eggs were the best. Service is great here and I liked that the restaurant was pretty quiet and had a relaxing vibe. If I lived in Bristol, I would come here monthly to eat and weekly to get the bread pudding (maybe twice a week.)

    3 THREE EGG OMELET
    Andrew L.

Breakfast was great, the 3 egg omelette had to be one of the best I've had. Finished the entire thing without feeling the grease etc. The potatoes were perfect with ketchup and Tabasco. Took one star off for the dinner. Dinner I'd give maybe a 3.5 star, not bad but nothing you'd want to come back for. Had the rib-eye steak, it was alright but it came very late and I was already stuffed with appetizers and salad. Overall good experience, highly recommend the breakfast here, worth waking up early for.

The main building is a lovely and spacious modern inn that balances comfort and traditional elements with open and wide modern floor plans and bright spaces in a pleasing way while retaining the cozy fireplace experiences of more traditional settings. A first floor outdoor veranda opposite the main entrance stretches the length of the main building overlooking the well groomed hillside vineyards and a stocked, picturesque fishing pond. The hillside stretches up the horizon and with the westward facing veranda, offers stunning sunset views along with wine service. Below is a patio off the main restaurant and bar offering even more seating around fire pits with couches and Adirondack chairs with appetizer and drinks available for the bar/restaurant. We toured a king 2 room suite with a large sitting area separated from an equally large and well appointed sleeping area with a private large balcony that also faced the western sunset over the vineyards. The rooms were described as more akin to an apartment whereas the 9 onsite yurts accommodations were described more akin to a condo, described as pet friendly and a quiet community. Behind the yurts is a large barn structure that serves as a tasting room with an outdoor seating area with Edison lights strung around the overhang creating a warm space to enjoy the vineyards end production, currently nine wine vintages. Beside the main building are two much larger shaped yurt structures housing a full fitness center and a spa as will as an outdoor pool. We dined at Hickory for dinner and enjoyed their farm to table, Appalachia oriented menus. That will be a separate review but it hits 10/10 for hospitality, service, presentation and food excellence. We plan a fall trip for an overnight stay when the vineyards come in just before harvest to get the full experience! Also, we initially had a glass of their Chardonnay and being pleased with this, we opted to enjoy a bottle with dinner even though the wine list had equally excellent choices from familiar vineyards. This is highly recommended!

Hadn't been there five years before Covid so it had been over 11 years. They have doubled or tripled in size. We lucked out and got there at 1:30. I believe they open at 11:30 on Saturday and we hit at a perfect time we got seated. We had our drink order within a minute of being seated, the lady explained everything we waited 20 minutes and was served our meat and all our sides for those of you not familiar with the restaurant. You are served family style in case you don't know exactly what family style means is that they bring a bunch of different sides to you get to pick the meats two of them per table and they come on platters. we happen to get pork chops and fried chicken. The pork chops had a dark gravy that was almost barbecued and was a little spicy so our table didn't quite care for those so they went with the country fried steak in a second helping of fried chicken. It got busier and the fried chicken was a bit dry the second time better to do chicken salad than to eat hot although I do like piping hot fried chicken! Side dishes vary 7 to 9 different sides. They automatically bring to the table that carrot soufflé is one of our favorites. I've yet to replicate. They have Yukon gold mashed potatoes, gravy beans, and whatever beans of the day, cream corn, green beans, corn salad, fresh rolls, and fresh skillet cornbread with delicious rail butter served on a slab and room temperature so it's easy to spread. There are several meats to choose from catfish and pork chops and fried chicken buttermilk chicken, which wasn't served on Saturday but is awesome. There were pork chops, country ham there was boiled cabbage, and the time before there were pickles and apple butter and cottage cheese years ago, so their sides vary but the carrot soufflé is still wonderful. You would swear were sweet potatoes!
