I gave her a 9 out of 10. Texas roadhouse is a great steakhouse. Steaks are cooked to order the way that you would expect them to. Freda to have the 12 ounce sirloin. Served w/ corn and mashed potatoes. Normally, she'll put some type of steak sauce on her steak because it's not cooked how she likes it. But it did not need to be seasoned additional with A1 or any other steak sauce. 9 out of 10. I had the salmon with rice, corn, and a side salad. 8 out of 10; we didn't get an appetizer did we? I want to start by saying Connie is an excellent waitress. Brittney, the manager is a kind and wonderful lady. I would likely return just for these two ladies. The bread was excellent as always. I Looked into the hand cut steaks cooler....(more to come) We sat down to baked in house warm rolls with whipped cinnamon butter, absolutely delicious. We ordered fried pickels and cheese fries both with house made ranch. Then Salads... had hard boiled eggs on it (no onions or cucumber ) Wife got the sSmothered Chicken w/ baked tator... Son got Prime-rib mid-rare w/ baked tator and fries. I got a 29oz bone in Ribeye. Mid-rare($48)... Fries..but was well worth it Everything was cooked perfectly. Very happy read more

The fillet's were cooked perfectly and extremely tender. Better than we've had a fine dining restaurant where we're paying $60 for a steak.

Best dinner rolls around hands down! Always fresh and warm with that amazing cinnamon butter. I could go just to eat these. Meals are average for me. Peanuts are a fun addition especially for kids. Overall, TR isn't bad. The prices aren't as high as they could be and the food is good and fast if you go early. I recommend going as early as possible. The beef kebabs are a good alternative to a full steak. However, if you order to go, they're slow, easily confused and the messages for timing is spotty, at best. read more

Ordered to-go and hand an excellent experience! The food was great.i had a decent size order and everything was as ordered, no missing items or mistakes. The food was hot and fresh. My son ordered the pulled pork sandwich, this was our first time ordering it so I sampled. It was pretty impressive, and this is coming from a Ridgewood bbq fan. I'm picky and this didn't disappoint. The onion cactus is better than outback blooming onion. All of their sauces taste fresh and handmade. I'm a sauce person so this is a big deal for me. Chicken tenders and boneless chicken is very good. The staff was friendly. I have to say they did wonderful especially considering how slammed busy they stay. I should have know to turn around and go back out the door when I approached the hostess table and simply asked if they had a table for five, and then was given the look of death. If you hate your job so much, find a new one. It's that simple. We were seated promptly, which for a Monday is pretty normal. Our food, however, took FOR-EV-ER. So long that all of the tables surrounding us were eating and drinking, paying and going before our food even arrived. When it did arrive an hour after we ordered it, it was decent but not worth the $100 total of our bill. Which we had to chase our waitress down for because she was so slow. It was like, instead of being at work she was sleeping. We will probably skip this place in the future just because of the bad service. The food is good but the service at this location is real slack. We keep going back and regretting it because we want to have a good time. Last night ate there at 5 pm and was quoted 20 minutes then when we went up to check how much longer (at 20 minutes wait time) she said 20 more minutes. Been wanting to go here for awhile so I went on a Friday afternoon. Waitress was super nice. I ordered a 12 oz ribeye medium, what I got was an 8oz. sirloin well done. Steak was not only charred but, was also salty and complete dried out. Just got a box and left. I paid $21.49 for a ribeye I did not get, but still had to pay for. The 8oz. sirloin was only $14.99. I've been here a few times, and it was great. today they were a little busy, but before anything are waitress was very kind and polite, and very helpful. I asked the waitress a question about a worker, and she got back to me. After that all the workers looked us up and down, laughed and stared. Everyone got their food before us, and when asked to have rolls, they burnt them and took awhile to get them. When first opened Food was very good but as time when on the food as well as service has went down hill. Today my steak and potatoe was cold. The huge gob of butter on my potatoe would not even melt and the service was very slow. I had to ask for straws and silverware... The good: Food is what you expect from this chain. Staff are nice. A lot of parking. The bad: poorly planned/designed construction makes this particular location not friendly for small children, the profoundly disabled, or men if there's a chance that any of them need access to a bathroom (more details below) and also the waitlist system is very flawed. Waitlist flaw: We joined waitlist for party of 3 at 1:14pm. We checked in as "here" at 1:37pm. At 1:38pm we received a text to proceed to the lobby and see a host to get "one of the next tables." The host had us wait in a standing-only area. There was one other group of 3 standing before we got there and nobody else. After 20 minutes of standing with a baby in our arms, the other 3-top who had been there waiting and ourselves had not been seated but at least 5 or 6 other groups of 2 and 3-tops who came in to stand after us were seated. We inquired with the host and was told we were next. But that didn't happen, again, new people filtered in and out of the standing-room and we were left waiting with the other 3-top who had been there prior to us. The other 3-top also saw what was happening and voiced concern to the hostess about their long wait after receiving the "come on in" text. Then during their complaint we were called to be seated despite the fact that they had been standing there longer with an older "come in" message. We mentioned that maybe the software was messed up and needed to be looked at by management, as it didn't make sense that we were texted to "come in" later than the other 3-top, but were seated before them. We were told that basically it is what it is/ this is just how it works. About the restroom design: The men's bathroom has ONE toilet stall which is a joke for a place of this capacity. The restroom itself is so small that you must back out of the room to allow other people to come and go to the two urinals while you wait on the stall. My spouse waited and waited at this bathroom with our baby thinking there was a changing table in the handicap stall, but finally brought our baby back to me to see if I could get the diaper changed sooner in the women's restroom as the baby had just pottied and naturally to want to get that off asap. The women's restroom has a total of three stalls but no changing table or solid surface (not even the sink counter could work in a pinch as it's a trough shape). The only changing station for children in the entire place is down the women's hallway but in a separate "family bathroom" that actually serves as an employee favorite bathroom. Family bathrooms are typically larger than regular handicap-stall bathrooms and meant to serve people with profound disabilities that need space and assistance, people with children that need tending to, etc. We waited a long long time to finally get in, so much so that I asked an employee walking by if a key was necessary to enter or was someone just in there, likely. Finally a female employee came out. The women's bathroom with three stalls was fully vacant the entire time. I thought, perhaps this employee has an ostomy of some kind and needs the larger privacy this bathroom affords, I'll not be judgy. I didn't even bother to lock the door once I got in because at this point my kid's poop was coming out of the diaper and I didn't want to contaminate anything or fiddle with locks. During the time I was in the FAMILY bathroom, two additional employees attempted to come in to use that bathroom. The likelihood that all 3 of these employees have a disability that requires the use of an extra large FAMILY bathroom is slim to none. So it's clear that this bathroom is used as a convenience for employees and not its intended purpose which is truly unfriendly and uncaring to those who truly NEED that bathroom and have no other option. People with children shouldn't have to resort to leaving the building and using their cargo area to change diapers because employees don't want to use the regular restrooms. I do however see that with only one stall for men, they may need the family bathroom as a "plan B." Whoever designed this restaurant is impractical and didn't think about the customer or staff. Management made rounds to tables and I offered the suggestion that employees shouldn't use the family restroom as their primary bathroom (unless disabled) since customers who actually need the facility don't have another option. Sounded like they were aware of the issues but don't really have a solution. read more

Went out to eat tonight despite the rain. The Hostess looked at my wife with crazy eyes and the wife got a horrible attitude from the hostess for no reason. Today is 7/31/2023 6pm. Then after that we were seated at the slowest server that was working. We sat there for an hour before we were served our food. 4 tables around us came in after us and all left before we got our food. We have no idea why the hostess treated us like that. We will be going back to Logans from now on. There are 14 people in our immediate family so I hope the manager reads this blog and removes that hostile hostess permanently. They just lost a $300 order one a month when we all get together. I am trying to be decent that is why I didn't make a big scene when we were at the restaurant, I saw the look she gave my wife. My wife is beautiful (stunning I should say) would be the only reason the 50 years old used up hostess could possibly be rude to such a sweet and gentle person. My wife has encountered this before due to other woman being jealous of her beauty. After seeing the waitress you would see why she was jealous. Its ok now that we can post the her actions for everyone to see. She won the battle but the war is ours. Service is slow. I'm not sure why. This is with both eat in and take-out. They have a lot of young people working now - not so much at first. Food is good - the problem is they don't know who the food goes to at the table based on how it was cooked. They just say steak with whatever. I was given my husband's medium rare steak, my daughter had my medium well and my husband had her medium steak. 2 were 6 oz and 1 was 8oz. The server had no idea and didn't care. Pass them out and hurry away to wherever servers go. The parking is terrible - like going through a mouse maze.
