It was left outside their business for 2 weeks and 4 days, rained multiple times during this time. Now the back wheels will not roll backwards at all. The owner explained over the phone that moisture can cause this problem, and it happens alot with this model, then denied it being cause by it being out doors for 2.5 weeks. Today when they called me to ask about the wheels they said they had not touched anything on it until today. So it was left outside, for 2.5 weeks for absolutely no reason.

Went for the good old snowblower but it did not start. Figuring it needed to be serviced I began to call at round. Most shops were asking $160+ to service it. I called C&N and spoke to Tony. Tony explained the cost of servicing, it would be under $100. He also added that If we needed it picked up/drop off they could do so for an extra charge. The machine was taken on Friday afternoon and would have been ready late Saturday but I was not available. We got the snowblower on Monday!!! They definitely have a loyal customer, my father, for all his equipment.

They charged us $300 more than quoted and had our tractor for over a month. Got it back and didn't even get through a full mow before the belt that they apparently replaced came off. Called to ask what exactly was repaired and they couldn't tell me except a belt and battery was replaced......we paid almost $800. They pick the tractor back up and have the tractor for another month! I call to find out the status of repairs because it had been so long again and was told the tractor has been done and they don't know why no one has called to let us know. They just simply forgot about it because it wasn't on their "list" of callbacks to make. Not sure what that means but just wow on the whole experience. My sister took her tractor here too and did "name drop" the same referral. She received completely different service- she paid much less and got her tractor back within a week. Guess who you know helps you out here which is unfortunate. Everyone should get the same service no matter who you know.

But we wandered around the market, and took some photos before the part where you had to show your ticket for admission. My little one liked seeing all the pumpkins. We were here shortly after opening but it was already starting to become populated with folks wanting to have their fall fun. It's possible we'll come back for that because at least on the day we stopped by, there wasn't a line out the door as soon as they opened like some other area farms, so I wouldn't mind being there when it's a bit less crowded.

I didn't realize there is a Beer Barn, where I ordered a delicious frozen apple cider with a side of Fireball. It was $19 for full access to the farm, including a hayride. However, I have to say, as an adult without little kids in tow, my heart just felt for the animals in the pens. They look over crowded, over fed and just sad. I do remember when my kids were little, we visited and saw an animal throwing up. Hopefully, there is more thought and care put into these beautiful creatures, and I dont think my heart could take another visit here in the Fall. I do still like Goebbert's for plants, produce and caramel apples though. And the employees are always wonderful and friendly.
