On my continuous journey to try different matcha places, my bf and I decided to try Vivot. I've sampled a few of their drinks at past Yelp events but it was my first time at their storefront. Parking can be limited on the street and there is a paid parking lot. Just be aware of parking signs in the area. There is a good amount of seating inside but availability can be limited during busy times. There are two screens people can order from or if you have cash, you can order at the register. In addition to their drinks, there are some various food options such as muffins, spam musubis, and a breakfast burrito. We ordered a double matcha, matcha einspanner, and a breakfast burrito w bacon to share. The drinks were decent but I've had a better matcha einspanner elsewhere. We had to wait a bit until our burrito was heated or made. It was surprisingly pretty good!
Had the strawberry matcha, this was actually so so good. I'd go out of my way for it! Parking is annoying, but lots of seating and good place to work/study.
You can tell this place really cares about every drink they make! Prices were super reasonable for such good quality drinks! This is the perfect study spot as well, good amount of seating with good food and drinks! I got the peach matcha with hojicha foam, perfect amount of sweet and not overpowering peach flavor in my matcha which I love so much!
Best matcha cloud ever!! The foam was creamy and thick and kind of salty. They asked for the sweet level and I said zero and it was kind of salty the foam. I order the coconut water matcha simply delicious
Located off Commonwealth Ave in Fullerton. Street parking and lot in the back not sure how that whole lot works since it's shared with all the businesses and there are signs all over and a parking machine as well so I was a bit confused with that parking situation it fills up quick. I parked and hurried to this place got my drink and left since I'm not familiar with this area. The place is not big a few seating. I got the strawberry matcha it was good. The staff were nice and helpful the gal that helped me was awesome. Overall a cool spot I will come back if I'm near or in the area their matcha was good.
This place is a very cute place in the middle of DTF and they have a lot of options from flavored matches to milk teas and food as well. I decided to get the horchata matcha b/c it sounded rlly good and it didn't disappoint at all. It is by far my favorite bc I haven't seen anywhere else serve that kind of matcha. Service is fast and you'll be in and out less than 5 minutes.
Vivot definitely had its moment on Tiktok, and I've heard many mixed reviews from friends who have gone themselves. First of all, one thing that I appreciated a lot about Vivot was the price. I've gotten tinier matchas for much higher costs, so I like that the pricing is appropriate. I also really loved that I could ask for extra shots for no additional cost. The baristas were so kind and let me know that I could ask for more adjustments if need be. As for the drinks themselves, my friend got the matcha americano and I really liked the taste and consistency of the matcha. I got the mango matcha, and I had to add another shot to taste the matcha. I felt like in the fruit drink, the matcha was more bitter and coarse. I was informed that the fruit matchas may have a different matcha shot consistency to make up for the flavoring, which would explain why I felt like there were taste differences between the two drinks. Overall, I thought the mango matcha was fine and I would like to try a different drink to see if the matcha taste and consistency is different if I choose a non-fruit drink!
We got the matcha cloud flight (comes with 4) with ube, banana, strawberry and sticky rice. The ube and banana were super flavorful but the strawberry didn't have as strong of a flavor. The sticky rice one was just normal matcha with pieces of sticky rice in it which I don't think I'd get again. They had a ton of other flavors I want to come back to try! Also got the egg sandwich and ube mochi brownie, both of which were so good! Bread was buttery and the egg salad was so flavorful. Ube mochi was flavorful and I liked the texture. I expected a chocolate brownie with ube but it's more like a nian gao (Chinese rice cake) texture and no brownie/chocolate in it. Forgot to take a photo of it but it was really good!
Was walking around downtown Fullerton and decided to pop in after hearing so many incredible things about this place, especially from TikTok! I tried a matcha latte as a baseline drink so I could really taste the matcha, and it did not disappoint. It was incredibly packed, but honestly, well worth the wait. The matcha was high quality and had a great flavor, although it was a little less sweet than I personally prefer. Definitely want to come back and try a matcha flight next!
I was dying to try the matcha flight at Vivot, the concept is definitely very cool and interesting and I did love trying all the different flavors. TBH all the flavored matchas were a bit too sweet for my liking and you couldn't really taste the matcha itself much, I did like the strawberry and banana version the most and I would like to try their regular matcha drinks for comparison. The chicken pesto sandwich was a solid sandwich, it was yummy, would be a good lunch item 8/10. The cafe environment is nice and small, but has lots of seating, many people are working, the cafe is right on street in downtown Fullerton so free parking is a 2-3 minute walk. Service is okay, but not the fastest due to being crowded.
Great experience. Walked into their cute little cafe at 8pm, ordered my match on their counter kiosk with all the extras, used the restroom, and then came out to my blueberry match on the counter. They were quick, friendly, and were all smiles. Can't wait to try something else.
Vivot Craft seems like an ideal place for a study session. The space is large and open, with plenty of seating scattered throughout, making it easy to find a comfortable spot to settle in. The interior design is minimalist, giving the café a clean and relaxed atmosphere. Ordering is convenient with two self-service kiosks, and the menu is surprisingly extensive. In addition to food options, they offer a wide variety of drinks, including matcha, coffee, teas, and refreshing beverages, so there is something for almost everyone. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha and the Matcha Einspanner. While the drink sizes were generous, the flavor of the Strawberry Matcha was a bit disappointing. The strawberry flavor was very minimal, and the matcha itself was difficult to taste. My friend felt similarly about the Matcha Einspanner. That said, I am still willing to give this place another try. It may have just been an off day, or perhaps a different drink would be a better fit next time. Vivot Craft has a great atmosphere and plenty of space for studying or hanging out, though the drinks did not fully meet my expectations on this visit.
My first visit was a week ago and I was very pleased. I was never a matcha girl and had tried it four times. I decided to give it one more try and was very impressed. The strawberry matcha is a 10/10. Friendly staff, order at kiosk, and great service. It's not loud and enough seating. Reasonable prices, street parking and parking in the back. I went back again today just to get the strawberry matcha :)
Craving Vietnamese coffee on our way back to Riverside, we stopped by Vivot Cafe, which was open in the evening. Order is through self service kiosk. After seeing so many mixed reviews about the matcha drinks, curiosity won and I decided to try the Raspberry Matcha (since I never tried this flavor before), ordered with oat milk and 50% sweetness. The Vietnamese coffee was decent, though the condensed milk strongly dominated the flavor. As for the Raspberry Matcha, it leaned quite sour, with the matcha flavor barely coming through. read more
Stopped by on the way back to West Hills from Anaheim instead of stopping at Kei Coffee House. Based on the reviews, I was excited to try it. It wasn't too busy and I went straight to the kiosk to order. It kind of sucks that I had only one option for matcha and be forced to pay extra. The drink was nearly $10 and I had no option to pick my preferred ice level, just sweetness. The drink was tasty and the banana flavor definitely came through the foam. The drink was made quickly too. It was great matcha flavor, as it should be since I paid extra for the type of matcha, haha. A nice try, top tier matcha compared to other places. Unsure if the price tag is worth it, though. read more
If you're in the matcha phase of your life, this spot is a pretty cool place to check out! They may not offer the highest-quality matcha compared to dedicated matcha tea houses, but it's definitely an interesting concept. There's plenty of seating in the shop itself, and it's in Downtown Fullerton, so it's a quick stop if you're going to CSUF. When you walk in, you can order at the kiosk or at the cashier. We opted to order at the cashier because we had a few questions about the options available. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable, and we ended up ordering a matcha flight and the ice cream trio with corn, cookie butter, and black milk tea ice cream, with a very generous drizzle of matcha. The matcha flight itself was interesting, as we decided to do whole milk fruit matcha with strawberry, mango, guava, and peach. The fruit flavors were a bit too syrupy tasting for us, and so the best one was the strawberry, and I think the mango was a bit too overpowering. The ice cream, however, was delicious and the matcha drizzle definitely packed a punch. Overall, great concept, great place to study/hang out! read more

I came with super high hopes because presentation is *chefs kiss*....and suffered from gas (despite choosing oat milk) later into the night. we had the matcha mango and the banana cream matcha. in the matcha mango, there were chunks of mango on the bottom, and a very strong matcha layered on top of the milk. I tried mixing it, but was still left with super strong matcha by itself in the end. Banana cream was just ok, nothing really to write home about. We had some stomach discomforts a few hours after drinking, and I can't pinpoint exactly how since we chose the oat milk option. Likely won't be back. read more
I'm not usually a matcha girlie, however Vivot has definitely converted me haha! Located in Downtown Fullerton, Vivot is literally the BEST matcha place I have ever been to. Pandan is my favorite flavor and I was so happy to see it on their menu, especially since sometimes it is hard to find. My usual here is the Pandan Matcha Latte with coconut milk and vegan coconut cream cloud! Thank god for the vegan coconut cream cloud by the way since its alsoooo really hard to find a place that has good nondairy foams (I have a dairy allergy so this is always convenient) This place is usually pretty busy and it is a bit of a wait sometimes to get your drinks, but honestly I don't mind because it makes sense. Their drinks are AMAZING and I don't blame them for always having a line haha. The inside is also pretty spacious as well and really minimalistic. It's a good place if you're looking for somewhere not super overstimulating to sit down or maybe use as a study spot! read more
I've been coming here to study pretty consistently, so it's about time I reviewed one of my favorite cafes in Fullerton! Vivot prides itself on quality matcha powder, customizable matcha flights, and plenty of spacious seating, outlets, and wifi for kids, students, and families alike to enjoy. The team making the drinks is always super friendly and on top of it. They keep the inside, outside front area, and bathroom clean, which I really appreciate since it can get so busy. *Hojicha Latte: This is my favorite drink here! You can taste the nuttiness of the hojicha, and the regular sweetness level isn't overwhelming. I love how large the sizing is, and I come here specifically when I crave this drink. *Original (OG) Matcha Latte: I've had this once and it was good. I'm not someone who claims to be an expert on matcha grades or flavors, but it tasted like you'd expect, though maybe a bit more bitter than I anticipated. I think they recently started offering ceremonial matcha too. *Salmon Lox Bagel: I like that this order gives you both halves of the bagel, each with different toppings. One half has cream cheese and lox, while the other has cream cheese, tomatoes, and cucumbers. The cucumber half had an interesting, tangy flavor. It was filling, but I might get something else next time since it didn't pair well with the matcha latte I ordered. *Avocado Toast: I appreciate how much they pack on top! In addition to avocado, this included cherry tomatoes, microgreens, feta cheese, and a balsamic glaze. I enjoyed eating this, especially the seasoning on the tomatoes. Parking is in the back and shared with other businesses, so it does get pretty full. The spot is also walkable from the Fullerton train stop, just one block across, where you could also theoretically park if you don't mind the walk. I still haven't tried the matcha flights (I always end up coming solo or with my boyfriend, who isn't a matcha fan), but I see a lot of people order them, and they look like a fun experience to try! read more
The right plc for extra extra bold matcha lovers. The intense matcha is triple layered and requires u to fill a waiver bc the caffeine exceeds the daily recommendation. I absolutely loved it over the matcha Jasmine. The jasmine was fragrant but the matcha made it somewhat bitter??, I would've wanted a sweeter fragrant Jasmine with matcha undertones. Review 105/365 Day Challenge Visited here w my Friend Pow after our Hike/walk at the Fullerton Stairs/Steps. Came around 10:15 a.m. there was a lot of foot traffic flow and a lot of guests sitting enjoying their matcha drinks. Associates were really friendly, just when we went there was a confusion of a Matcha deal Day. So they got major guests waiting for their order which took a bit longer than expected for our 2 drinks & bagel cream cheese. ~ Blueberry Lavender Ube Matcha Latte w Ube CoLd Foam was my drink choice. The blueberry & ube can definitely taste but i couldn't taste the lavender flavor. The ube cold foam was delish. Asked for 75% sweetness. ~ Banana Matcha Latte is good. Banana isn't too strong. ~ Bagel w cream cheese was good but it was overpowering with a lot of cream cheese. It was made and warned, ready to be eaten. Lots of seatings inside. Cafe is very simple w lots of greenery plants. They have a kiosk where you self order and they have a register for cash only guests. Was able to get street parking off Commonwealth right in front of the Coffee shop. There's plenty of parking in the back but it's metered parking. So must pay in the parking lot. Vivot Cafe is a solid spot for studying or hanging out, with friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere. The original matcha was enjoyable, especially at 50% sweetness, which gave it a nice balanced flavor without being overwhelming. The Triple Pandan at 100% sweetness, however, was much too sweet and tasted almost like Fruity Pebbles. The portion sizes were decent for the price, and the service really stood out the staff was amazing and made the experience more enjoyable. It's a good cafe with potential, but the drinks can be hit or miss depending on sweetness levels. Three stars feels fair, and I'd consider returning, especially to study and try more drinks at customized sweetness. read more
First of all, the service here was great. This place also happened to be very busy when we went on a weekend. When you walk in, you have two options: kiosk order and cashier order. As you order on the kiosk, staff will offer to answer any questions you may have, even as they all rush to make drinks. If the cafe is packed and there aren't any tables, you may have to awkwardly wait along one of the rails or walls after you order. I ordered their double matcha. The matcha flavor was definitely strong. I enjoyed that the drink was not grassy nor bitter. The matcha was also smooth and not chunky at all. I found the foam to be quite thick and more similar in texture to an einspanner cream, rather than a cold foam. I enioyed it! The foam was not too sweet either. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you're in the area! read more

Vivot has made hojicha become my newest obsession. They have the best tasting hojicha I've ever had and I can't see myself going anywhere else for it. It's perfectly roasty and nutty, I like to get their hojicha einspanner with the hojicha cloud. Matcha is super good too! Got their maniac matcha which was super strong, they even make you sign a waiver. Can't complain bc it got me through my 12 hour shift with no issues lol read more
Was next door and wanted to get a drink after eating so went there with my friend to share a cold latte....Place was packed....but after having there latte not sure why....maybe they don't specialize in coffee as much as other things.... Anyhow just just tasted like a watered down coffee which had no flavor.... Too many choices in DT Fullerton to come back here again. read more

Overall: I've heard about this cafe a lot and had to pay a visit when I was in the downtown Fullerton area. I got the pandan matcha, which was BY FAR one of the best I've had. A little on the sweeter side, but exactly how I'd want it to be flavored. Service: A longer line when I went, but orders got taken quickly and drinks came out quickly too! Ambiance: Simple but cute, definitely a more worn building but I like the vibe. There were a lot of people studying inside, so seems like it's a good idea to come early if you want to snag a spot to sit down. read more
Vivot was amazing. Stopped by on Sunday afternoon and it was so easy to place your order on their tablet. I opted for a dirty matcha with the banana cold foam. The banana cold foam was light and not too sweet. I got my drink 25% sweet, and it was perfect for someone who doesn't like too much sweetness. The employee working was really nice and very quick in preparing our orders. read more
3.5 Stars! It's a decent spot to hang out at. We ordered the Matcha Flight, Tamago Sandwhich, Ube Mochi Brownie. When you get the flight, you're limited to just Matcha with flavored foam (cloud). We chose Ube, Strawberry, Banana, and Sticky Rice. Our favorite was the Banana then Ube, while the strawberry and Sticky Rice didn't really taste like much. The brownie was really good though and it came warm. Sandwich was also pretty good and had a nice ratio of tamago. Service was just okay, the staff didn't greet us or help us even though we stood at the counter for a few minutes because they have self order screens. We had to flag them down to take our orders since the self order screens didn't have the matcha flight option. read more

Waited about 15minutes as everyone was getting orders I sat there, girl staring at me and people getting order after order, yet didn't ask me if everything was ok. I had to walk up and ask, she said the "ticket" didn't print after 20min while everyone else got their orders within 2-3min. I waited so long. Customer service is not good, coffee okay. I should have gotten it for free like Starbucks! lol read more
I've seen soooo many tiktoks and videos about Vivot and finally decided to give it a chance because I was in the area. I ordered a Einspanner latte for my mom and I and unfortunately was very let down :(. It was way too milky and had no matcha flavor at all! I kept mixing it and trying to make it better but unfortunately it was no good. My cousin got a Tropical Fruit refresher drink and it was actually really good. If i were ever to return I unfortunately would not get a matcha but I would probably order what she got. It was a Sparkling Tropical Fruit refresher drink and had bits of fruit in it that was soooo refreshing! The inside is quite spacious which several seating. It's very chill and the workers were nice but unfortunately I would not return. read more
We ordered a Guava Matcha and Blueberry Matcha. Both were yummy! There was a strong blueberry flavor in the matcha and the guava was a bit more subtle. We ordered at the kiosk and the drinks came out within 5-10 minutes on a Saturday night. There were plenty of small tables and lively music in the background. I love going to try new coffee shops. This one had awesome reviews so I was looking forward to trying it. The ordering system is super inconvenient. Because you have to order it on ipads and there is only one so the ordering line can get long..... But luckily they also had a line for cash paying customers which I took advange of. A nice guy took my order. I asked him if their matcha is Organic and with alot of hesitation he responded "yessss" which made me to think that their matcha might not be organic afterall.... Lol I got the lavender matcha (half sweet). It was good but it is not the most memorable matcha that I ever got. This place has this many reviews perhaps because it is open until late, not because they serve great tasting coffee/matcha drinks! read more

Came for the $3 drink promotion a few weeks ago. Waited in line for about an hour but it moved really quick, just surprised so many other people were there for matchas at 8pm. I got the matcha einspanner with matchamisu cream top and I felt like the matcha taste was far too strong. I tried the banana matchas my friend got and it was alright. The ordering system was a little strange, one kiosk and one cashier taking orders. Limited space inside especially on a busy event like this, and not for a group of my size (7 people). read more

Matcha was ok (I had better) but the cookie!!! The cookie tasted like nacho cheese (so odd but seriously! Would not have expected it to taste awful) would not recommend that one. read more
Came on a Wednesday evening, and the place was packed! Parking can be a bit difficult with the limited free street parking options but they also have a paid lot in the back. Service was attentive and ambiance was casual with a lot of people studying at the coffee shop. They also open late so can be an ideal study spot. Tried a matcha flight for the first time, and it totally lived up to the hype- beautiful presentation and super fun to try. You can customize it with your choice of milk and either 4 cream tops or 4 fruit tops. We went with the cream tops and got the og salted vanilla, ube, hojicha, and pandan. The hojicha and salted vanilla were rich and creamy, while the ube and pandan were lighter and more subtle. Hojicha was my personal favorite- it had a deep, strong tea flavor. Would come again for the study vibes and to try their other matcha drinks! read more
Matcha is Matcha-ing! Pretty tasty drinks, ceremonial grade - guaranteed for those who chase quality. Pricing is a bit on the high side but I think the quality pays itself. Boba is pretty bland but nothing one can oversee with the tea itself. Got there a bit late and missed the egg sandos, next time! read more

Staple for a CSUF student! The fruity matcha is great and versatile. On top of that, they open late, which is great for the late night cravings. I get the raspberry matcha which is pretty uncommon to find. My favorite part is ordering at the kiosk so I can take my time looking through the menu. Because it is so close to CSUF, a lot of student study there, which limits seating for everyone else. Other than that, it is a good place to get different kinds of matcha! read more
Located in downtown Fullerton, they were busy, especially on a Saturday. They have a kiosk to place orders but since the line was almost to the door, we didn't notice the staff at the counter until we got near the front area. Unfortunately, the staff couldn't clearly explain the available flavors for the matcha flight, which was the main reason we visited. Given how busy they were, it took some time for us to get our drinks and with no available seating, we decided to take our orders to go. I tried their Blueberry Matcha, but it was disappointing. It tasted a bit watered down and lacked blueberry flavor. The chaotic environment and the underwhelming drink didn't leave a lasting impression and I'm not sure if I'd return. read more
I came by Tuesday morning with a friend who recommended this spot to do some work and it was a packed cafe - super popular! I found a table to put my stuff down at the very back corner where some of the noise was able to be muffled out and went to look at a menu before placing my order. I got an iced jasmine milk tea with boba (75% sweet) and a Ube mochi brownie. I waited maybe 10 minutes before hearing my name called and my drink was ready but my brownie was no where to be found. I notified the staff and they corrected it immediately saying it was on the way shortly which was no big deal and I sat down with my drink. The first sip was unfortunately pretty disappointing though - a bit watered down from the start, so I couldn't taste the jasmine tea very well, and the sweetness was lacking (which that part is my fault! ^^; - I always tell myself to try 100% the first time and altering for the next time but I forgot). The boba was good though! Good consistency/texture and a nice sweet flavor. I heard my name called again and received my brownie, which to my surprise was much bigger than I thought it would be + it was warmed up! I was excited to try since I love mochi brownies because they remind me of the butter mochi I've had in Hawaii, but unfortunately this also was disappointing. I think when they heated it up it caused the mochi to harden instead of soften and kind of felt like chewy stale bread... the taste was okay, but I couldn't find it in myself to finish it as it was progressively getting harder and harder as it cooled off :( similar with my drink already being watered down, as the ice melted (and I'm a slow drinker) it just got progressively more watery ^^; We locked in on working on our laptop, and thankfully the place comes with free wifi! We were there for about 4 hours, and the internet did poof once, but recovered after a couple of minutes. Another ding for me though was that there was only one bathroom and as service started ramping up so did the wait. Overall it was an okay cafe. Cute atmosphere although when I went it was pretty busy and loud. Lots of cute pastry options and an extensive drink menu. I'm open to coming back again maybe, but unfortunately it hasn't left me with a great impression enough to recommend it to anyone. read more
I was the biggest hater of coconut matcha, which is coconut water with matcha foam, until I tried the the pink coconut matcha cloud refresher. They complement each other very well and it's not too sweet, which I loved. I was also curious about the variety of syrups they offer so I paired a matcha latte with guava syrup and coconut cloud and it became a fun tropical drink. There's an infinite number of drinks you can make with 16 cloud cream flavors and 9 fruit purees they offer. They just started offering superior matcha which is a grade higher than the premium matcha they used to offer. I'm not sure if I could tell the difference because I didn't try it on its own but I recommend ordering a plain matcha latte to truly enjoy the taste of the matcha. Also, don't sleep on the pandan cookie or tamago sando. I know you're coming here for the drinks but these two items were good. There was seating available when I visited on a Friday afternoon but it can get pretty back during the weekend. read more
Good study spot that sells good matcha! This place has recently been a go to for getting work done. They have some seating with outlets which are only on the side so you may have to get lucky to get one. They also have a variety of seating throughout. You can order online through a QR code or order at their self order kiosks. They have different kinds of matcha like guava and pandan. I got the blueberry matcha and it's sooo good! You can also make any adjustments to your preference. The service is pretty quick too if you just wanna order and leave. The inside is also decorated really nicely so it would be great if you wanna take photos too. There is also a bathroom in the back. read more

Wanted to try this place as I heard they offer a matcha flight, which seemed really interesting! Parking can be difficult as there's a small lot and it can get crowded. The wait was HORRIBLE on a Saturday afternoon. It took us around 30-40 minutes to get our order and there is limited seating inside. The waiting system was poorly managed. There were two lines, kiosk vs paying in front of a cashier, but the lines were indistinguishable. Decided to get their matcha cloud flights and tried the following flavors: - OG (salted vanilla) - Matchamisu - Ube - Jasmine The cream tops were all pretty delicious but they mask the matcha flavor a bit. Cute little coffee place. For the flight of... fruit matcha teas? You get 4 (guava, mango, peach... and something else). They were pretty food. The line gets long at times, and in the evenings, there are a lot of people sitting around, talking, and into work/school. It's pretty crowded, but a nice place to hang out if you can get a spot. I came here after seeing their matcha flights all over Instagram and wanted to check it out for myself. The place was extremely busy -- the line wrapped around inside, and it was clear that social media hype had a lot to do with it. Service was okay overall, but they seemed a bit overwhelmed. To be fair, the staff were doing their best to keep up with the nonstop crowd, but they had already run out of some ingredients by the time I ordered, which was disappointing. I got the matcha fruit lattes flight, which looked nice but honestly tasted pretty standard. Nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out either. Definitely not worth the long wait or the hype it's been getting online. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back. A cute cafe known for its matcha drinks. I came with a friend on a Saturday morning, and it was PACKED. Considering how busy it was, the cafe was small and pretty cramped. I made my order at the kiosk. The vibes are definitely casual and welcoming, with many people chatting and others studying at the tables. (It may be hard to find seating.) Parking can be a tad difficult, but it's not too bad if you circle the nearby lot and make the short walk here. DRINK: I'd like to preface that I am not the biggest fan of matcha, so I guess my review would only be meaningful to someone of the same tastes accompanying their matcha-loving friend(s). Blueberry Matcha Latte (4/5) - I got it at 75% sweetness and with the recommended whole milk, which I thought worked well. Matcha flavor is definitely there, and I surprisingly enjoyed it. The blueberry flavor was lovely and was my favorite part of the drink, both taste-wise and visually. SERVICE: Service was fast despite how overwhelmingly busy this place got. The line can seem intimidating, but it moves pretty quickly since most people choose to order using the kiosk. TLDR// Vivot is a solid, popular matcha spot in Fullerton, and that opinion is coming from someone who isn't a big matcha enthusiast, so take that how you will. Came around 11 am on a Sunday and there was a line but it was worth the wait! I ordered the blueberry matcha 75% sweet. I loved how smooth it was and it had just enough blueberry flavor. I do wish I chose 50% so I could taste more of the matcha. Luckily my boyfriend got the matcha maniac and I got all the matcha flavor I was craving from his. Surprisingly it isn't as bitter as you think it might be. It was really creamy and the matcha tasted strong without being overwhelming. We both loved it and he definitely got his caffeine fix! It would be great if they had a larger location with more tables. It is a little cramped and hard to find seating. However we would definitely come back. I want to try the other matcha +fruit combos like mango and banana! read more

Wow, busy cafe! Very popular indeed. The Yelp reviews attracted me to this spot. I have been here previously for a yelp event. I wanted to come back to buy some drinks. It seems like most of their drinks have matcha in them. I wanted to try one of the matcha drinks. White chocolate raspberry matcha 7/10 I ordered this with coconut milk and the lavender cold brew cream foam. I really liked the raspberry flavor. That was nice. It was very sweet and delightful. I wanted more whote choocolate flvaor thoguh. I did notcie there were white chocolate chips in the bottom of my drink. It just didn't enhance the drink. Maybe the white chocolate chips were supposed to melt into the drink? Possibly, but they didn't. I got a strong matcha flavor, that I wasn't a fan of. The lavendar cold brew foam was nice. I liked that. It added a slight sweetness to it. Overall, I wouldn't order this again. Sure, it was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The taste was just off for me. I also wanted this with honey boba and they later told me that they ran out fo honey boba. Boo, that sucks. No honey boba. My husband ordered a house black milk tea and they later told us that they ran out of the house black. Bummer. Strike two for us lol No honesy boba and no house black tea. So, my husband got a Thai Tea instead. The thai tea was alright. It just wasn't what he wanted. Overall, they were out of the things we wanted. Bummer. This was my second time coming here with a friend. I ordered the Mango Matcha again, but adjusted it with oat milk and less sweetness. The first time I tried it, I went with the default (regular milk and sweetness) and found it a little too heavy. Even with less sweetness, the mango flavor still comes through pretty strong, but it leans on the sweet side. Next time, I think I'll go half-sweet for a better balance. One tip: make sure to stir it really well so you don't end up drinking straight mango syrup at the bottom. I also had a sip of my friend's Matcha Einspänner, and it was really good. Smooth, creamy, and not too sweet even without adjustments. There was a long line when we got there, but it moved quickly thanks to their digital kiosk ordering system. Parking has been easy for me both visits. Plenty of street spots nearby (though I can imagine it might depend on the time of day). Seating can fill up fast, so it might be easier to grab your drink and walk around downtown Fullerton if it's crowded. Overall, I really like the vibe here. It's a cute spot with solid drinks, and I can see why it gets busy. Looking forward to coming back and trying the Mango Matcha at half-sweet next time! read more
