She was very detailed with her exam and she definitely made me feel comfortable having my eye exam during this time of COVID. I was in dire need of an appointment after three days of discomfort in my left eye. Dr. Cao made time to see me when others wouldn't. She's very caring, nice, and good about explaining issues. Her office is VERY clean, which should be the case with all doctors' offices, but not always so. The staff person who helped with the appointment scheduling and check-in was also very nice and professional. I felt well taken care of and will consider this office for future eye needs. read more

I've been having difficulty driving on highways for the last few years. I would feel dizzy and have this feeling like motion sickness. I recently read that it could be a result of Binocular Vision. The inability for both my eyes to coordinate properly. I asked different Ophthalmology offices and none of them could test for this. I was so relieved to find out that Vixen Optometric Center does this test and within one day I had an appointment with Dr. Judy Cao. The office is brand new and very clean. Steve was so welcoming and helped me with all the paperwork. Dr. Judy was amazing, we spend almost 1 1/2 hrs on all sorts of tests. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. She just made me feel like I was I'm the right place and she was so patient with me. After our appointment, it was confirmed that I had Binocular Vision among other things. It could've been caused by TBI from playing hockey. But I'm hopeful that with Dr. Judy's help, I will be able to drive on the highway and have better overall eye health in the future. Looking forward to therapy sessions and the Prism glasses that I will receive soon. I know I can trust Dr. Judy with my eye health and will go to her for future checkups. This was my first visit to Dr. Judy Cao. Through multiple recommendations from friends and favorable Yelp reviews I made the decision to go with Dr. Judy Cao. I proceeded to make an appointment and the staff was more than helpful. I complete my patient intake document online prior to visiting her office to speed along the process. I arrived at the office at my scheduled time, and was warmly greeted by the staff and was checked in. the office is extremely clean and modern looking. Within a couple of minutes, Dr. Judy Cao came out and greeted me and walked me to the exam room. Why waling to the exam room, I notice a room that had "Vision Therapy" on it. (I've never seen on of those before). Throughout the whole examination process, Dr. Judy Cao was consistently making sure I was comfortable. She thoroughly explained to me my results of the health of my eyes and took her time with me. As a patient, the last thing I want is for a doctor to rush through my exam and miss something, in which Dr. Cao did not me feel that way at all. As I was leaving I asked Dr. Cao what the "vision therapy" room was for, and she explained to me that she works with patients that to rehabilitate they're eyed from damage and other issues. It is a breath of fresh air to know that Dr. Cao not only cares about her patients eye health, but to go above and beyond to help patients and individuals to live a better life through vision therapy. Dr. Cao is simply the best!! I brought my 2.5 yr old son in to get his first eye exam and am so glad I chose this place! Not only was she very thorough explaining exactly what she was looking for during the exam, Dr. Cao was able to keep my son engaged in all the activities. Definitely a good experience coming here. I was experiencing convergence insufficiency as well as accommodative insufficiency when I first came to this place which I did not even know of at the time. I always had an issue with my eyes that occur very sporadically affecting my vision and have been searching for some answers for over 9 years as I did not know the cause or the reason why! I went to numerous healthcare specialists to seek answers but none were able to provide any insight as to what I was experiencing. I was referred here by my girlfriend and I thought "Why not? I've been searching for over 9 years for answers and solutions to my problem but still no progress or resolution." When I went in, Dr. Judy Cao was very friendly. I explained my situation and what I experienced and she was able to quickly grasp what I was going through. She conducted an evaluation over a series of tests and were able to conclude that I suffered from convergence insufficiency and accommodative insufficiency! Definitely a huge breakthrough! After 9 years of searching for answers, I finally got some answers to my dilemma! Dr. Judy Cao suggested vision therapy to help train my ability to control my eyes and understand what it is doing. After searching for so long and finally getting some results, I did not hesitate and went for it! We scheduled 20 sessions of vision therapy where I would visit once a week and worked towards improving my visual abilities. After 20 sessions have gone by, it definitely felt well-rewarded. My visual abilities have gotten a lot better and I have gained more knowledge and insight to what I have been going through for so long. Would definitely recommend to anyone who may be experiencing random episodes of blurred vision or seeing distorted images!
