Absolutely the best Vietnamese food you can get in Gresham. I've travelled to Vietnam and eat at Vietnamese restaurants A LOT because the food is so freaking delicious when it is done right. VN does it right. VN's bun (vermicelli noodles) were fantastic and the Pho spot on. Super psyched that their menu also includes Banh Mi sandwiches. Prices are very fair and the family that runs this place are friendly and attentive. Location is not the best-- parking can be an issue and the vape/lottery places near by are a little sketch but all and all this restaurant is a nice gem that should be checked out. read more

Ok, so there's been some wins and some rejects we've had with their menu. The pad Thai reeked with fish sauce. I'm sorry, I don't like to write a negative comment but it's just a heads up. Fish sauce should be a small addition to boost flavor, not overpowering and repulsive. This was also a problem when we tried their caramelized chicken wings. However, I did like their pork Bahn mi (had it twice) it has a little too much mayo for me but that's my personal taste. I do love the hoisin, sriracha and herb combo on a great bahn mi. OMG!!! BEST PHO EVER!!! The staff was amazing! I am deathly allergic to shell fish and the made sure there was absolutely no chance of contamination. The food was hot and fresh and fast. They fried my pot stickers special for me to make sure I didnt get sick. The prices were super cheap and they have a fantastic happy hour. I definitely recommend this place!!! read more

The best wings and bbq pork I have ever had! I got the beef pho and added the beef meat ball. I didn't receive the meat ball but I ordered through doordash. I'm sure if I had been dining in they would have fixed that immediately. The pho wasn't the best I have had but when I added extra lime, a few packs of hoisin sauce and lots of Sriracha it popped it up a notch. Definitely will order again. This was a really good spot for pho until the vietnamese sandwich made us sick for days. The atmosphere also started becoming an issue. The last 3 times I went with my family the same drunks were there gambling. They'd go in and out of the gambling area to drink their beer and have a bite of their food. Mostly reviewing so I can remember that I only like their chicken pho, not the beef. Their beef is borderline gamey too me. The broth is as expected and fine. Their baguettes are fantastic - toasty crust to the outside but super soft and fresh inside. Beef stew is like a slightly thickened pho broth with chunks of beef and carrot, maybe some tomato juice? Phó/Vietnamese food is one of my favorite things on this earth! Decided to drive 25 minutes to this 5 star rated restaurant. To be honest place is really tiny, had to hang out at the bar w my kids to wait for a table. Took them about 25 minutes to get our order, they were understaffed because 1 person called out. So, the cook was one of the persons that was taking orders and then going back into the kitchen and cooking the food. Food was good, but not the best I've tried at other restaurants closer to me. This wonderful little restaurant is tucked into a strip mall across from Gresham Toyota, which is, in fact, the view from the street front window. I worked in San Francisco for several years, where I became familiar with bahn mi. There were at least half a dozen spots where I was a semi-regular. San Francisco bahn mi were served on more of a bun, which was bready. They were really good. The bahn mi in Greshen are served on a toasted baguette, which makes the sandwich lighter (in my opinion). Anyway, I took my family to VN Fusion last night and had the salmon bahn mi. It was very good. I added a little hoisen to it, but that's probably a matter of individual taste. I ate every last bite. My foodie son had a pork and noodle dish which he pronounced very good as well. If this place was in S F when I was working there, it would have been my go to place.
