really wanted to like this place because the food is actually great. The pho itself is flavorful and well made. Unfortunately, the service completely ruins the experience. The staff is rude and respond with attitude any time you ask for something. What really upset me was watching one of the servers carry two large bowls of hot pho directly over my toddler's head. I could clearly see he was struggling to hold them. I told him he was way too close to my daughter with hot food, and he completely ignored me and continued struggling over her -- no apology, no acknowledgment, just attitude. That is a serious safety concern. This is the second time I've given this place a chance, and both experiences were terrible. The first time I went, I was told they didn't have high chairs. Really good pho... most places do have good fun but this one's really enjoyable nice decent size and the options of food are good and some things I haven't tried before and some I have. Service is great and so is the seating. I really recommend getting the pho with everything. This review is for the Pho.com in Gresham. This restaurant isn't far from our home. We'll be back for sure. Even though when we walked in, we stood at the front for a while and not one employee even looked....wait, we found out that there were several employee's but when we walked in they were absent from site. The 1 employee we saw was swamped cashing out a customer while the phone rang. She took the call. We were just trying to get noticed. They must have just had a rush do to the 5 tables waiting to be cleaned. My Wife is injured. We were tired of waiting and sat ourselves, right in front of the phone. They saw us then. We don't know what was going on. We kinda thought that you seat yourself do to the fact there's no signage about waiting to be seated. We noticed that after us, everyone else was seated in certain areas. My bad, should have sat us. Anywho. We ordered Green tea, Garden Rolls, Spring Rolls, Chicken Pho and I had Pho with Beef Tendon only. The Garden Rolls and sauce were good. Nothing extra special but definitely tasty. The Spring Rolls.... Are you kidding me? Boom. Even if the rest of the menu is terrible (highly unlikely.), I would eat here just for the Spring Rolls. First thing we noticed was they are hand rolled. They were packed with flavors. Caution. The Spring Rolls are cooked in lava. They are so tasty you will potentially burn yourself because you'll not be able to stop eating them. The Pho comes out in a pretty good size bowl. And it's packed with ingredients. My Wife's was basically 2 meals. She's having an awesome lunch tomorrow. Mine had so much Beef Tendon that I couldn't eat it all. I'm also having an awesome lunch tomorrow, only mine will have regular Ramen noodles but it will have a great pho broth and a fair amount of Tendon. We both loved the vibe inside. The pho with steak and flank was amazing! But my two stars is because the waitress took my order then never put it in. I sat for 40 minutes watching people get their food who came in after me. When I went to the counter to see where my food was, no one knew what I was talking about - the waitress never came back by my table once after taking the order. They thought I'm waiting for a to go order...they still can't find anything. No apologies nothing...just give us five minutes we will get it out to you. Brought me the pho but never the condiments that go with it, had to ask again for the bowl of bean sprouts, basil and lime. This is a great pho restaurant. Interior decor is so beautiful, and the place is very clean. However, there is only street parking. Took my elderly mother to dinner here last night. Street parking is difficult in downtown gresham anyway and there is no handicap parking. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived and they quickly set us at a table so mom could stay in her wheelchair. Good timing on our part as it got very busy soon after our arrival. We ordered a veggie pho, a beef pho and salad rolls. The salad rolls came with a really tasty peanut sauce and I also tried it with their house hot sauce. Really good. Noodles and shrimp wrapped in crunchy lettuce and then in rice paper. The beef pho had HEAVENLY soup, tender thin slices of beef, noodles, green onions and a side of fresh bean sprouts and thai basil. The vegetable pho had a variety of vegetables in a veggie stock also well seasoned with different spices than used in the beef, but also very good. On the way out, I ordered meat rolls and fish sauce chicken wings to go. The meat rolls were almost identical to the salad rolls, but the flavor of the pork was bland. The wings were funky and slightly sweet and my wife loved them. The restaurant is cute a nicely decorated. The staff was overworked and had no time to check in after the food was delivered, but the orders were delivered hot and without any missing items. Will definitely be going back. read more

If you're an Asian person looking for another Asian person's review look no further. I'm an OC Asian (Garden Grove woo woo) and ever since I've moved to Oregon, all of the pho places I've been to are mid or a straight no. I decided to try this place out with my partner and this place is good. I ordered a pho combo and he a steak pho. The broth is delicious with lots of flavor, almost exactly like how it is in OC. Owners are Viet so it's authentic. The only problem I have is the quality of meat. The meat quality wasn't as good as in OC, but I'll assume it's harder to get the good cuts like they do in OC. We both liked it so much bc it reminded us of OC quality pho we almost ordered another round. I'll 100% be coming back and letting all my SoCal transplants about this place. read more

The banh mi was super big/long but the filling was meh, the mayo was out of control and wasn't that great, it was more chewy than crunchy, the meat had flavor to it, it's the kind of meat they would use on bun thit nuong but it was a lot chewier. Authentic Viet for is always good for the soul! Their coffee is one of the better Viet Coffees I have had in the East Portland area. The grilled pork plate was plentiful, tender and juicy. My only wish was that the pork were to be cut all the way through! Knifes we're not provided for whatever reason so the pork pieces were quite large and you'd have to cut through it with your fork, or eat the pieces attached to each other and rip the other piece with your mouth. The atmosphere and decorations inside are great, location is great and there are plenty of tables inside for when it gets busy. Not recommended- when this restaurant first opened up in downtown Gresham the food was good and reasonably priced,and close, however we stopped going here after they changed their prices and the food quality went to mediocre- fast forward a couple years and I decided to give them another shot as they are 5 minutes from my house. The last two times I have attempted to eat here I arrived before 7:30 to be told they are not seating and only taking orders for take out- update your website or put a sign on the door so people don't waste their time driving down here for mediocre food.
